Germination with paper towel in paper towel then i will put it in soil with soil and perlit ratio 70:30 with extreme gardening mycos. They will be on 24 hour light for few days and then i switch to 18/6. Ripper seeds zombie kush with remo nutrients in canna terra proffesional soil
It is a second week of vegetation phase, everything looks good, plants looks healthy and have such a nice vivid green color with fleshy leaves. In vegetation phase they will be in this small 3L pots in mix of 70% Terra Professional soil and 30% of perlite with adding of few mycorrhizae types. Today I use nutrients for the first time from the beginning of this grow, I use Remo Grow, Remo Micro, Remo MagNifiCal and Remo VeloKelp, 13ml of each on 10L of water. 18/6 photoperiod, on 50% light intensity. Air humidity is between 40%-50%, night temperature is about 21°C and daily about 23°C.
At the end of third week i do topping, next step is to replace pots for bigger, and time to do scrog/defoliation, etc techniques for the rest of vegetation phase
I am satisfied with the progress, the babies are healthy green, the vegetation is coming to an end. This last period the plants will be subjected to defoliation and SCROG technique in addition to the previous LST and topping. Sky is the limit
When the plants are topped, do those upper two branches have to break off so easily on LST, exactly at the place where the nodes are on the two uppermost branches where the plant is topped? I'm angry because such a perfect plant has such a stupid flaw :(
erm did it break clean off ? I know this feeling being very clumsy when defoliating is my down fall i prob snap more banches that i dont mean to than i do haha but hey i dont think its the plants fault but if you wanna lessen the chanes of this happening in the future maybe look into a feed with slightly more silica in that will stregthen branches even more :) best of look buddy.
When it occurs, tape it up or otherwise hold it together as it heals. Looks like it healed up on its own.
Leave more stem above a node when you top and it will more likely avoid this problem, but can still happen. I had a few plants split at top and didn't notice.. they healed on their own. The pressure over time from training can slowly cause it to happen. When you lst, shape the stem before tying it down -- weaken it but not as strenuously as HST. Bend in a few spots to shape it before tying it down.. reduce the constant stress on the node.
Just water and honey for last few days. I washing my babies with water and honey. Finaly fnishing this project very proud. It finished. Trimming time next few days
