Great stretch from BB#1 this week! Sadly I’ve got a bit of a fungus gnat issue. It appears BB #2 might have more of a gnat problem than #1 but it could be worse with all plants if nothing is done. I sprayed a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water into the soil and on the leaves hoping it’ll help. I haven’t used peroxide in a long time so my bottle is expired and basically odorless. I’m buying new tomorrow and will have sticky traps arriving tomorrow as well.

@BungeeGrows, let your soil run dry .. fungus gnats stay around when the top of the medium is wet .. try holding back watering for as long as you can .. until your pot is super light and the top has been dry.. then when you do water put a fan blowing towards the base of the plants at the pots to 1. Dry the surface and 2. They can't land from the wind .. I have air moving so much around my tent so it not ideal for any bugs .. you'll see.on my grow that I keep a fan on the ground in my tent for that reason and air pruning the roots .. grab yourself a bottle of neem oil for that will help with most bugs too... let me know what works for you..

@Hempface86, Thank you! This is the worst I've had them yet as a newbie, hitting the leaves and soil with diluted hydrogen peroxide daily and will have sticky traps arriving today sometime. That should hopefully help me get a handle of it 😬

Another trichome check for BB #1. She seems very close, but I feel that another week will do some good in allowing any more bud-swell to occur while also letting the trichomes to further ripen. Lower branches thankfully seem to have at least become mostly cloudy but with very little amber. The tops are pretty amber-heavy, a helpful indicator that we are very close. I'm going to raise the light another approximate inch in order to give the tops a break, I'm hoping to avoid a 40-50% amber ratio. I'd guess we are at 15-20% now so that should be easy to avoid. Expect a harvest update next week with more photos and comments added as I sample throughout cure!
