This is my first autoflower and grow. Germinated in water for 24hr. Then placed it between a wet kitchen napkin inside a ziplock bag for 24hr. Planted the seed 3 cm below soil. Will not be watering so no suffocation. Day 2 The plant is growing it's now 4.5cm tall. The stem looks a little stretched so I lowered the lights by 10cm to 51cm. The first baby leaf, one of them has a yellow patch, not sure why but I know that it falls off eventually. If anyone can clarify that would be great. :) Day 3 It's growing longer it's now 7cm. Conditions are good I've realized the new leafs have grown a little. No watering the soil still seems moist. Day 5 The height is at 9cm Conditions are in good range. No watering Day 7 New nodes are growing things are looking good. I still haven't watered it as the medium is still damp. I raised the lights back to 61cm (24inch) as I realized the leafs were curling a little. End of first week !!!

I generally defoliate right before I flip to flower to clean the plant up and ensure good airflow. I also strip the bottom 1/3rd of the plant of all growth as during flower that growth won't really develop very well. I defoliate again at day 21 of flower again making sure there's plenty of airflow and making sure no bud sites are covered. Any growth that looks really small and underdeveloped I will strip off the bottom of the plant for the same reason as before. After this last defoliation, you should wind up with a nice canopy that has all the bud sites exposed and a lot of space for air movement between the buds to help prevent mold and other moisture related issues.

@Blacklisted, So I guess I wasn't late as I found out that the seed itself might not be an auto! So I flushed her for a week and started Bloom schedule with minimum dose recommendation.

@Masryflip,you did not skip a step either, you can do a flush now it will help her ,trust me ,then go with some water for a couple of days then start adding some nutes ,half of the ussual dosage and increase easy ,if you have some anti stress nute use it too,i skipped flush on my gorilas when they flowered becoz i simply didnt knew that a flush is a must but i did one later on wich compensated, end result was epic ! :D

@Blacklisted, thank you so much for your support ! I think you are right, I might have spilt some nutrients as I was feeding her, cuz I checked again and its the only leaf that has this sign. I guess I'll remove it tomorrow as well with the other big fan leaves. Will update my defoliation after completion! Thanks again for being around bro, and sharing your experience, lets just say your my Grow Angel!

@Masryflip,so ive looked and did some thinking,if you have more leafs with stains like that it could be calcium deficiency in early stage just starting out,you should add cal-mag at around 70% of maximum allowed per liter of water and on the next feeding or maybe next week give her 100% calmag..but if it is only one leaf then maybe when you fed her you accidentaly spilled some water with heavy nutes on that side of the leaf and that causes burns and makes the leaf discolored a bit,i had dealt with that issue and it was confusing at first because i did not know what was the problem, your girl will yeld heavy, its veg week 3 ,you could defoliate the big fan leafs a bit ,make way for light to penetrate on lower bud sites and make air flow inside the canopy even better, then you can stop worrying about higher humidity because good airflow keeps mold away and you can get off with higher humidity PLUS it will help the plant redirect the energy at the right spots ! :D this is a good trick that many argue with, meaning defoliating the plant during flower, but i disagree, finding the perfect balance for the plant as in defoliation is going to get you higher yelds my friend, dont remove too many but dont be afraid to remove as much as needed, you will find the balance preety fast ,just look at the plant ,when she starts pointing the leafs down its a sign to stop, you can go 5-7 more leafs,no more,if you have some cinamon, you can use it to patch up the cut off leafs,it helps protect the wound she sustained :D ,will always be happy to give you tips and tricks that i learn alon the way,big plant you got there,i just love it ! proud of you and her :D good job !

@Masryflip,ussualy i do smt like this, example : feeding nutes ,let her dry 1-2 days, add water (i ussualy water with about 30% more liquid than when i feed her nutes leave about 3-4 days and repeat :D ussualy you can kick in full nutes around at mid flower and start lowering them at end flower,i can see she's starting to show trichomes, she is just gorgeous ! good job,i could say you got 5-6 weeks to go with her and you will have a harvest window open
Masryflip
Masryflip
@Blacklisted, thanks bro :) when you say dry... what i've done so far is I left it for 3 days then feed her nutrients, now i'm coming up to 4 days now and she looks good. Now I'm thinking of either feeding her or giving her water. My question is do i feed her nutrients or do i give her water as i alternate between them?

Hey bro she sure looks nice and full!! Are you sure shes an auto? I doubt shes ever gonna flower if you dont flip to 12/12. I see you have little babies growing along so flipping wont be an option. She should be covered in buds and ready to harvest by now. Ive had it happen before and it sucks chopping down a girl after all the nutrients and training. You can always put her in a dark closet for 12 hours everyday. I did this once and worked well. Was glad it was over when it was time to harvest tho hahha. Goodluck bro, curious what your next step will be.

@ArucambaAutoflowers297, You had me questions my source of seed, thanks for that :) you made me pay attention to something I had in mind. So I switched the switch! I'll probably take the baby with her on the flowering journey as I don't have enough time for another cycle. This has prolonged more than I expected . Thanks for stopping by :)

@Masryflip,you could draw back some of the water you give her, seems the leafs are pointing down and curved-like shape, for me that looks like a bit of overwatering ,watch it with that 😇

You are experiencing Chlorosis(yellowing) caused by a Sulfur deficiency in my opinion. I'm looking at Sulfur because the chlorosis bleeds from the inside of the leaf towards the tips and your newer growth is effected. Adding 1-2 tsp of Epsom Salts per gallon of water can fix this issue. Also decreasing your PH to around 6.2 can help give access to the Sulfur needed 6.5 is to high. Here is an article about it from your seeds breeder RQS. https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-sulphur-deficiency-in-cannabis-plants-n598

@Masryflip, I would be doing the PH between 6.0 and 6.5 right now. You want it to go through a window of PH's but not to far out either side. If you are starting at 6.5 PH it might be at 7 by the time you do another feed.

Masryflip
@HighTV, thanks for the observation and resource, thought the color was normal at the beginning and then it darkens up. Will be lowering the pH . What's is optimal pH for soil?

hey,you should try lowering the light a bit like ...what soil do you use ? if u use light mix you could start feeding 1/4 of the nutes in 1-2 days Grow Light Closest ~ Sunlight Furthest 150W 8″ (20cm) 10″ (25cm) 12″ (30cm) 250W 10″ (25cm) 12″ (30cm) 14″ (35cm) 400W 12″ (30cm) 14″ (35cm) 19″ (48cm) 600W 14″ (35cm) 16″ (41cm) 25″ (64cm) 1000W 16″ (41cm) 22″ (55cm) 31″ (79cm)

@Blacklisted, thanks for your comment and advise. The soil I use is a local organic mix. I reached out to them and they told me that the soil is good for a month till you can add nutrients. I will start to feed her nutrients tomorrow as I missed your comment and gave her water only. The lights I have set it to what the manufacturer recommendation. Since I dropped it the plants seems to like it and the stretching stopped. Between nodes are a good distance I believe. I'll fix this stretching once I transplant her to her final stage 5gal fabric pot. Thanks for stopping by please don't stop checking up on me much appreciation :)

btw if you are at the 4th node you could top it to get more out of the plant :D ,you could start Low stress training but make sure you will keep a feeding schedule ,don't overdo it with the nutes and if you want to be sure the light is not harming them keep your forearm underneath the light at the plant height and if it burns you after 1 minute it's not ok,that is the best test for ligth height :D cheers mate and good luck with your grow ! will be following you until the end,if you need more special help @Mrs_Larimar could help you more

Luckily it's finished now. Very strange, this glitch in nature. My expierience with their genetics with this strain is totally different, i tried a couple of 'm, and i could litteraly do anything with them, i broke stems to make shapes on one of 'm (High stress training) and it still yielded a whole bunch of dank bud. Try contacting RQS, maybe they know what's happening, but it's also very possible that some disease or pest caused the change of nature of your auto. The bud does look dank though. Keep up the good work!
