Grow Diary: Phase 2 - Week 1 of the Vegetative Phase
• Number of Plants: 10 (Note: One plant will be removed from the tent at the end of the vegetative phase).
• Lighting: For this phase, the dimming of the lights was increased from 20% to 40% to support the growing light needs of the plants.
• Humidity: A gradual reduction in humidity has been initiated. Currently, the humidity is maintained at 55% during the day and 58% at night. This adjustment is crucial for preparing the plants for the later flowering stage.
• Repotting: The plants were repotted from 1L Air-Pots to larger 3L air-pots. The new soil used is Canna Terra Professional Plus, which ensures optimal nutrient provision and water retention.
• Observations: The plants appear stable and healthy. There are three phenotypes that are growing slightly smaller. This observation will continue to be monitored in the second week.
• Watering: Currently, about ~200ml of water is manually administered daily. This amount is critical to avoid overwatering while ensuring the plants receive sufficient moisture. Additionally, the plants have been treated twice with a water mixture containing salicylic acid and ChiProPlant. In the future, the salicylic acid will be reduced due to the appearance of white spots, which are, however, easily washable.
• Future Planning: For repotting in the flowering phase, a transition to 15L AutoPot pots is planned. This will make watering more efficient and provide more room for root growth.
@SicilianMedusa, also mich haben die Lampen nicht enttäuscht buds sind bei mir etwas kleiner als mit hps aber dafür viel mehr Geschmack und trichome
Ja schaue sicher mal vorbei bei deinen grows 😎
@cheech87, Thank you, I'm using these lamps for the first time. After not cultivating for 9 years, I have transitioned from High-Pressure Sodium (HPS) lamps to LED, starting with these impressive SANlight EVO 1.5 5-120 twins. This is my first grow after a 9-year hiatus, and also my first attempt with LED, UV light, and monitoring the Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD). I plan to provide weekly updates from now on. I will publish a summary of the first week of vegetation in the coming days.
@Lemonhazelover, Thank you, stay tuned. In the next few days, I will report on the first week of vegetation. The plants are looking good :) I am excited and feel like I already have a good handle on this grow
