Pheno hunting 4 seeds of HOTDawgBerry fem.
Soaked the seeds for 24 hours in RO H2O and planted slightly below the surface.
Lights are on 24/7 until all seeds sprout.
3 of 4 seeds sprouted. Threw one seed into water to cover for the 4th seed that didnt sorout.
I’m fertigating about 20 seconds worth of slow flow every two or three days. Dor the three plants I am at full strength nutes or 1.52 EC at 6.10 pH.
Transplanted 3 into 5 gallon fabric pots. Sprinkled a mix of GreatWhite and Azos to the hole before dropping the rootball in. All 3 had good healthy root systems.
The three have recovered from their transplant shock and have really started to grow now that they are getting bigger waterings. The fourth needs a few more nodes before she is planted firmly in her final home. Nutrients are the same throuhiut the veg cycle. I haven’t used half of my 50 gallon supply yet but I imagine the halfway point will be coming soon since they are stsrting to drink more.
My lights are currently at 50% power.

Cut clones on day 1 of flower. Doing it as part of cocoforcanabis.com NYGC. I will change up the nutes next week to more of a flowering mix.
Powered light up to 75%. I was running between 50-60% during 18 hours on.
The ecowitt sensirs have been a blessing. Dialing in my watering has never been so precise. Great investment for soil/peat growers. Fairly cheap price as well.
Cleaned up the girls and chopped them all close to the same height.
I have trimmed the lowers and brush from the two smaller plants. I will do the two bigger ones this week. Clones are going, four have roots, hopefuly more will root this week.
They smell so good! My girlfriend said it smells like gym socks and tropical. She’s not a smoker so I value her opinion about smell. I think it more smells like sweetness. Maybe warm papya, or even mango, but not lemon or orange.
Fruity smell overcomes all others when the tent is opened. One has a creamy, buttery smell. The front left looks like my winner as far as structure for the next generation of clones. Front right doesn’t have as good of a frame work but the buds look a bit better. The back two will not win this competition. They grew too tall and the node spacing on the trunk are too far apart. I have clones of all four incase the flavor and effects of the three losers surprises me.
I believe I have two possible keepers. The two plants in front. The left one looks like it will be finished any day and the right one should be done in 7 to 10 days. The left one is finishing a bit darker in the leaves and the right one a bit lighter colored but with slightly bigger kolas.
How does the floraflex dripper system work for you? Im also curious how accurate those moisture meters are?
Would be interested in hearing your input and about your experience with it.
@Stoner_Thoughts, I like the flora flex set up. I haven't found anything better yet, it does me well. I have a bunch of their caps, Round and square but I don't use them other than for veg and I could really do without there too if I want.
The Ecowitt is a good sensor for the money. It also has a app for the phone which means I always have an idea of when I need to fertigate my plants. Honestly, I wish I found the sensors a long time ago because they have helped me not over water like I use to.
@Stoner_Thoughts, I put a graph up in week 9 that shows the moisture levels. The high peaks are fertigation times and the low peaks show how far the dry back went. They really showed me how much each plant drinks is different.
@Stoner_Thoughts, I like floraflex, not enough to use their nutrients, but enough to use the drip system. The valves are good but the o-rings don't last long. I was using the 6x6 caps but don't bother anymore. They have just about every part you need so that is why I use them. I haven't found any that are better, if I did I would probably try them. I am always trying "what looks new or good" and I keep using my floraflex system.
The EcoWitt sensors aren't dead-on but they give an excellent sense of whether your pot is dry or moist. I was watering every day in previous grows but this time I am noticing that I can go 2 or 3 days without fertigating. I would definately reccomend.
