First Indoor - 2x FB Original Amnesia Haze Auto (grown around a Strawberry-Banana)
First indoor grow! I picked up a tent set from a local supplier that seemed well suited for my space and just contacted them to switch out all the small pots included for just a pair of large airpots (or rootpots, what you prefer). I had intended on growing 2x 42FastBuds Amnesia Haze but the seeds that I ordered came with a bonus seed! So what can you do, I contacted my gardener again to tell them I needed another 22L airpot please. And so this is the grow report for the two Amnesia Haze that had to move to the side a little and make room in the middle for their Strawberry Banana sister that moved in!
Soil is "common" soil mixed with coco and perlite, the other 'other' component is Lechuza Pon - a stony, long term fertilizing substrate from Germany. Same mechanical function as perlite but also slowly gives off standard plant nutrients. I also added some Guanokalong powder to each soil mixture, about 200g to each 22 liters. A typical first-grow overdone mixture, as it should be! :)
"Paula" and "Petra", as they will be named, Paula on the left, Petra on the right, are sitting around Mary in the middle. They are named after 'Peter, Paul and Mary', singing Puff the Magic Dragon! together.

Besides just sitting there and watching them grow, I also started working on my first Arduino circuit and program so I will be able to just check my 'grow computer' - if the humidity is right in relation to the current temperature and grow phase - instead of doing it with a VPD chart all the time by hand. Later it should also trigger the necessary equipment via relais by itself.
Plants went with the coco they germinated in right into the final soil to minimize stress.
Nearly killed em by having it too dry, revised values for VPD calculations and added humidifier to the tent!
So while Petra on the right was shooting out strong before, she was hit the hardest by the dry climate and is now set back.
So for Petra on the right who was lagging behind about a week of veg now, I took the decision and tried to FIM her in the centre, continueing LST on the outsides - thinking I will at least get an equal amount of buds/m² as on the other plants, even if she wont occupy the same area or grow as high as the others.
For Paula on the left on the other hand, it was time for a good defoliation.

Plants were dripfed while I was away and the temps dropped to 6°C in the house, 14°C in the tent - growth stagnated but they survived fine.
For Mary it was now time to get chopped down and the space freed up in the middle of the tent after new year, allowing me to spread them buds out a little for the remainder of the time that they have there.
It also allows me to get the lights a little closer, as I can position the buds more evenly on one level once more.
Trichomes are coming along, there are still areas with a lot of clear ones so I am waiting a little longer still. Excuse the image quality there, still waiting for a holder to attach to the phone for the pocket microscope.
