Soaked seeds in water for 24 hours at 75 degrees. Planted seeds after soak in their final
lots (3 gal) and topped with a humidity dome.
Seeds popped on Saturday the 13th.
All seedlings are above the substrate, had to help them out with their seed shell, but all are seeming healthy.
Really cold temps outside and garage got down to 10c over night. Had to get a new heater for the tent. Placement is not final
Starting out the second week with higher dosages of a+b, starting cannzym as well.
Plants seem to be happy, not much difference between growth with all of them. One plant has somewhat deformed first true leaves, but second set is growing in correctly.
Upped light to 50% power and lowered heat to 75 degrees.
Watering with 600ml of solution daily
Starting out the third week with plants looking better. Having issues with overwatering last week as I was giving them 600ml per day. Seeing growth of algae among the perlite near the back of the tent.
Skipped watering on day 14 to try and correct the over watering, seems to have worked as leaves are not drooping anymore. Middle plant is the biggest by far, but the other four are around the same size. Will look into rotating plants through the week.
Upped light to 75% power and lowered humidity to 60%.
Watering with 600ml daily.
Starting out week four with explosive growth. Each plant is pushing out new nodes like crazy.
But damn if it isn’t dense. Internode spacing is less than a cm and dense. Had to leaf tuck the main fan leaves under the nodes so they start getting some light.
On three of the plants, I had to defoliate the main fan leaves because there was no way to tuck them.
Watering 1 l a day.
Starting out the week with massive growth again. Did leaf tucking throughout the last week to try and promote the lower nodes out to the light. Seems to have worked because now the nodes are almost taller than the top.
Seeing sex on all plants with pistils growing out of the junctions of the lower nodes. Waiting on bloom nutes until pistils show from the top.
Starting out week 6 blooming! Quite a slow start for these ladies. Breeders notes say the full cycle is 65-75 days so they should have been blooming a couple of weeks ago.
Did training on the 16th with a round of defoliation in preparation for flowering. Seems that the plants are responding well to it.
Still seeing typical dominance, but I don’t want to truly LST these bushes. Too thick and strong, would probably break them.
Starting out the second week of bloom strongly. All plants are fully blooming now. Bit of a late start, but better late than never.
Doing two feedings per day 1 liter each feed. The plants are munching through water at a surprising rate for how small they are.
Seems that two plants are forming purple flowers!! Super exciting because the breeder notes state that this is a 1/10 chance per plant. Got super lucky!
No more major defoliation until later into flower, hoping all bud sites fruit well.
Did a major defoliation on March 2nd. Plants were too dense to let continue without intervention.
Starting off the third week of flowering post major defoliation on march 2nd. Plants are recovering from being chopped so only watering 1l a day until they get their metabolism back into high gear.
Breeders notes stipulate a 65-70 day cycle, assuming that these plants will go to 90 days. Wonder why the veg period was so long..
Other than that, plants seem to be very happy, growing conductions are very stable.
Starting out the fourth week of flower well. All plants are forming resin on their sugar leaves and starting to smell fruity.
Upped nutrient dosage to 1400 ppm truncheon. Still watering 2l daily.
Might need another round of defoliation before the end of flower, they recovered very well from the last time.. Almost too well..
Starting out week five in bloom. Plants are stacked up and very frosty. Nice fake cherry jolly rancher smell coming out of the tent.
No issues to report! Just solid growth. Looking forward to the bulk of the buds this week.
Start of week 6 of bloom. Still chugging along, watering 2l with nutes daily.
No issues to report, buds are fattening up and smelling like jolly ranchers still.
Probably going to run for another 3 weeks (9 weeks of bloom). Purple plants are much father along than the green phenos.
Week 7 of flower starting off with nothing major to report. Last week has a little burn on the leaves from my PK dosage, but stopped using it after 5 days.
Bud structure looks fantastic, think these ladies will fatten up quite a bit. Another 2 weeks to go!
Sad to see these ladies chopped after 90 days of care. But on the bright side, got a ton of buds!
Will be starting my photoperiod plants shortly after drying for my outdoor grow.
