Germination started on Tuesday using the paper towel method. Placed the seeds between two sheets of paper towels and sprayed with water. Placed the paper towel inside a bag and sealed it up to around 80% before blowing into it to create a humidity bubble for the seeds. Closed it off quickly to keep as much air in the bag as possible. Placed it in a dark box in a warm area and waited.
Friday evening, the start of day 3 - the little seedlings had sprouted and were ready to be placed into soil plugs that had been soaked in Plagron Power Roots solution [1:1000ml]. Repotted the soil plug into the DWC Oxypots with clay pebbles being used as a growing medium. It's important to put enough clay pebbles into the netted bucket so that no light can get reach the water [affects the PH during the grow].
Lights are dimmed to 30% power and are at a height of 65cm from the seedlings. Light schedule is on 18hrs / 6hrs with an automatic humidifier set to 70% and a small fan to keep the airflow constant.
Nothing crazy or special to note about the week, other than that the seedlings are all growing really well and looking strong.

Had to close all vents in the tent to try keep some heat in during the cold months. Definitely noticed much slower germination and seedling growth this time around
Seedlings are growing slowly, but it has been unexpectedly cold. With the lights being adjusted to about 70% strength, this shouldn’t be much of a problem anymore.
These seedlings are definitely amongst the tallest and most well developed of the current grow though already.
Ladies really responded well to the environment this week. Temperatures in the tent are slowly rising as it gets warmer outside at the same time and we really notice the difference with the plants.
Ladies are starting to show signs of flowering- next week the light schedule in the tent changes to accommodate for the rest of the plants. Curious to see how this affects them
Came back from a one week trip with the intention of switching the ladies over into flowering. Instead, we had a freak power trip and the power was off for 4 days, including water bubblers, fans and of course the lights.
Despite this, ladies seem to be doing well. Some defoliation, a change of lights and they were good to go
Ladies are starting to smell this week and show the first signs of pistols. Adjusted the height of the lights to be at around 70cm over the canopy and added a scrog net to help spread out the mainlines.
Very happy with the auto’s and their growth - bud sites are fat and thick. Adjusted the height of the lights, fresh change of water and nutrients, light defoliation and lst through the scrog net.
