Germination went well. I used the drop and float method where I just dropped the seed on top of the water and let them germinate floating on top. I like to do it to get the best of both with the air and water also happy with the two jet fuel that I've bread from seeds last year and my friends wedding cake. Week 1 went really good seem to have settled in the soil that I have been keeping going now for three years. I add 15% perlight I didn't have much left from last year .gave them 1st feed of only 230 ppm. didn't want to push it and soil is quite a plain but good soil that allows me to add the nutrients of my choice without burning them. This week went well for the two jet fuels I'm really happy with them because I wasn't too sure how they would be. even though they're from the same parents they are too completely different phenotypes that I can see. different structure and shape to the leaves obviously very unstable genetics but gives me something new to see as well . Hi everyone this week whent ok I have stopped feeding for now because of a high PPM in the soil. I tested the runoff and it was over 1000 ppm . I'm not going to flush it because I will just drown them and that will have no air . They have showed no sign of being burnt and seemed to be pretty happy so just going to feed plain water with 6.5 ph . This is why I normally grow in coco perlite naw because of all of the problems . Don't get me wrong I've been growing in soil for 15 years and I have learnt to get the right recommended soil for cannabis and just feed it ph water. Mixing your own soil just ends in high PPM . This week was good .plants are starting to get bigger . I keep getting little bites out of one or two leaves from the bugs but other than that it's not too bad .it is in soil though so as expected.Justin feeding it mainly some silica and root expander due to high PPM in the soil this is why I normally grow in coco . like I said last week instead of flushing it I'm going to just give it plain6.5ph water with root and silica . They seem to be happy and have no signs of burning or any stress they are a bit small but I think it's due to the genetic. Hopefully by the end of this year I would have bread some of my plants with a larger autos and get a bit better outcome next time . Thank you for looking at the diary and will be updating every week
This week was ok I have noticed that she is started to go into pre-flower may be my last week on grow. I don't think she's going to be a big plant because she is going into flower at that size . but I have a lot of work to do with them autos anyway and I knew that from the start .The other plant that I have I've noticed may have a calmag issue. so I have added sensei calmag extra to the mix I would normally do that in coco anyway but didn't think it would need it in the soil but obviously does. I will post a question with a picture of it today to so you can have a look and decide what the issue is but I think it may be a calmag issue thank you for looking at the update and we'll be one every week 👍
This week went ok to. notice last time I updated my diary she started going into the flower so I've swapped to expert nutrients bloom with a ph of 6.8 . I don't think she is going to be anything too special which is okay because it tells me I have some work to do . I'm going to try breeding the seeds that I have with a larger auto at the end of year . Thank you for looking up the diary and will be an update next week 🌱👍
This week was all good she starting to go right into flower now she's got a nice smell to her .kind of like fuel or gas.Will be interested to try more of the seeds that I have .I will just put them in the ground because of my coco grow that I've got to concentrate on later this month. Will have a lot of diaries to deal with.thank you for looking at the diary and will be an update on this plant every week till finish. Happy growing and remember it's 420 somewhere
All good for this week notice she's flowering quite a bit now. also I have noticed a slight mutation where next to the bud sites on the leaf stems are growing bud that ar joining up with each other. But to be honest I would call it a positive mutation . It might not be in the other seeds that I have but if it's in that one then surely they're in the others . Feeding is still the same and I give it a pH of 6.5 . Thank you for looking at the diary and we'll be an update every week . 🌱
