Strawberry Dawg Pound and Super Silver Haze

So after germination 4 of 6 seeds of the Strawberry Dawg Pound have worked and 3 of 5 of the Super Silver Haze have germinated successfully. I am keeping the conditions exactly the same and on half the plants I'm using the tripart nutrients and the other half I'm using Voodoo juice. At the end of the grow we will know which nutrients are the best. Woke up this morning and they are a little weak and leaning over so I have bumped up the lights to 80% power from 40%

Week 3. 3 Dawg and 3 Haze put into 4x35l pots and 2 x 25l pots. Hopefully see which is best size for future grows. Also split the grow 1 haze voodoo. 1 haze tri. 2 dawg voodoo. 2 dawg tri. This should be a good little experiment. Nothing really too report in difference. The haze leaves are much more pointed and at first Voodoo was in the lead but Tri system seems to be overtaking. Only time will tell. Watch this space. I'll label the pots for you all on next week's pics. Also just today I moved from 12.5cm pots to 25litre x 2 and 35litre x 4. The 25's are grow bags the 35s are what I used last time. Wondering which will be the best for future grows?!

Great week for growth. Plants coming along well. I've put a tomato ring round the plants to help me pin them down a bit like scrog. Had a little trouble keeping the temperature down but have it under control now. One of the super silver haze plants slightly smaller than the others but pH and lumens are fine. This next week will continue to tie down the branches to create growth.

Great week for growth. Did some more LST and started defoliation. Removed 20-30% of the fan leaves. Also started another Strawberry Dawg Pound grow in the other grow room. Two weeks and I'll switch to 12/12.

Moved to 12/12 this week.Good week of growth. Plants are super thirsty at present gave them 1.5 litres last night each and they are dry again today. Growing really well. Going to lollipop and do a decent defoliation tonight and then leave them to grow buds for 2 to 3 weeks then I will do a little more defoliation and hopefully then it's just waiting for them to get huge kolaz.

Great Week. Pretty much grown 50% bigger. The nutrients are great. I water one day leave it then the next day I water with nutrients. BEST WAY TO DON IT. Added another intake fan to bring more co2 for the plants and placed it between the plants. Well happy with the setup now. Also added a de-humodifier which I've put in the tent. Between them the humidity issue should be sweet. I want it down to 45%.

Great week for growth. Plants have pretty much doubled in size. The tallest are around 26inches. I have super cropped the tallest branches to even out the canopy for light, make the branches stronger for the big fat buds and improve the plants resilience to disease. I have also took the light down a little so only 11 or 12 inch from the canopy. At the end of this week I will do a final defoliation once the bud sites are a little more formed. Drinking loads of water about a litre per day.

Good week for growth. I started the grow by using voodoo juice for 3 plants and terra Aquatica tripart system for the other 3. This week more than the others I have noticed a massive difference. The 3 with voodoo juice are much smaller than the 3 with tripart 3 system. I have therefore got rid of the Voodoo juice and will never use it again. Both the haze and the dawgpound react better to the tripart system. I'm talking about 8inch difference in size! Was a good experiment though to help with future grows. Advanced nutrients aren't a patch on terra Aquatica. I think the plants have virtually finished the stretch and are now fattening the buds instead of stretching more. Another month and we will probably be harvesting. Thanks for reading.

The plants look like they have stopped growing and the buds are fattening up. Off on my holidays soon so made light schedule darker for longer. The super cropping I did last week to lower the height of the canopy I might just have got away with. Still got gaffer tape on them. Started keeping fan leaves and freezing them now for hash later down the line.

Great week in bud development. I tried a cheeky super crop last week to get the crop canopy the same height for the lights. It looks like I've got away with it. I would never usually super crop after week 3 of flowering. Bit of gaffa tape and it's worked well meaning the lights are hitting the sweet spots. One more week and I'm going to start using ripen to kill it off. I'm on holiday on 30th April so I'm slightly up against the time. Will do 15 days of ripen. 8 days of flushing then I'll harvest. All going perfectly to time. I reckon I'll get 6oz a plant.
