Got a wedding cake reg photo period seed from a friend that he bred a while back and was just thinking of testing it out I am planning to grow it out all year to gain a big plant and harvest in October .I do my main crop for summer that I enter in the competitions that will be outdoors and starting in march with 420 fastbuds in coco ther will be an update every week until October
What is 1st week has gone pretty well after the germination it's got a little bite taken out of it from a tiny bug but other than that it settled in in the soil nicely had its 1st feed with 0.5 mil of expert nutrients grow A 0.5 of grow B 0.5 mil per litre of exponents master root with a ph of 6.5. As I said in the germination update I'm planning to grow this one throughout the whole year until October .
This week whent ok bit slower than the autos but that's normal due to it being a photo period. I'm feeding once a week guaranteeing that the roots get some air to. Whenever it's a nice sunny day I put it out in the garden to try and harden it off a bit because eventually it will be going outside in the spring and grown all through the summer where I will hope to harvest in October.thank you for looking at it .for more information about feed and what nutrients look in the description on the diary.thank you and remember it's 420 somewhere
This week whent ok a little bit slow but probably due to it being a photo period I've noticed there's a slight mutation on the leaf and it looks a little bit like a star which is quite interesting but other than that I've decided to stop feeding for a while and just use plane 6.5 pH water and may be a bit of silica and some master root because of high PPM in the soil. instead of doing a flush .because it is soil I want the plant to get some air too to the roots. I'm just going to let the plant eat it. it has showed no signs of being burnt. It's going to be in there for a while so we'll continue feed when PPM is lower. This week was ok nice short internode space and quite a little bushy plant .it's a shame about the little holes by the bugs I'm gonna try covering the soil with tin foil to stop them from coming out this is why I normally growing coco. I'm just feeding it some silica and root expander at the moment because the PPM in the soil is quite high but instead of flushing it which could over water the plants immediately I'm just going to let the plant eat it. it has showed no sign of burning or toxicity I've been mixing up soil for free years mainly for the outdoor flowers I thought I would give it a try in the soil but the PPM is hi not massively amount it's just about a thousand ppm but other than that all things are well . The wedding cake is ok for this week I'm curious to see how it comes out . This week I started to feed again because on my auto I have noticed that it started to get what looks like a calmag issue. And it's in the same soil to. She has very tight internode spacing also a indica look to her will grow her out for a while yet before switching to flower .I like to have 1 big photo period and a main crop of autos .thank you for looking at the diary and will be updating every week 👍
All good for this week the plant seems to be getting a bit bigger now and swelling in size will be putting it out later next month with some light supplement at the end of the day because she is a photo period I am going to get her really big and have a big yield off her . May start to flower her in June but if not I'll let her go natural outside till October. This week went ok she started expanding her leaves and geting bigger. I'm still feeding her the same amount of nutrients and pH of 6.5 .she has nice purple stripes in the stems which I'm quite pleased about so hopefully she will turn out a nice looking plant. She will be going outside later on this month with a supplemental lighting at the end of the day and maybe flowered towards the end of this year or during the summer . All good for this week feeding is the same and given her 6.5 pH .I managed to LST about two days ago and she has responded well to it . also she haze nice purple stripes on the stem and smells a bit to . like berry it's really nice so I think she is a purple phenotype. I will be growing her out for some time and hopefully be flowering a big plant by the end .thank you for looking at the diary and will be an update every week
@EntOfDenmark, Thank you it will be my last in soil naw going to do my main crop next month outdoor and it will be Coco like last year and fastbuds seeds

@NoneYaZDrone, hi yes all good have no more for naw .will only do Coco going forward have been keeping the same soil going for 3years naw and it has to mutch stuff in it 🐜 also ppm is to high
@Rangaku, soil is good but each to their own I have found the best way that works for me is coco and perlite. Give a soil grow a go and just find what works best for you the only thing wid soil is over watering and high PPM other than that it's fine👍
@Rangaku, I used to grow in soil a lot and had been this last 18 years but this last three years I've been growing in Coco for my main crop in the spring. I just used soil now to test my auto strains that I breed for side project.
