I can not forget the first time I tried a cookie jar, the taste is incredible, very excited to grow this strain, I hope it grows as it should with the help of the led spotlights
very happy with the huge growth during the last week, the larger leaves are almost the size of my hand, and he is taking shape, as seen in the photos, has a nice green color and does not show any shortcomings, just go leaving the first pre flowers
very happy with this plant, lst has given good results creating several tips that already protrude to the main, many have been generated between nodes with good space between them, in short a very vigorous growth
This little monster is still growing vigorously, he loves lst, they are already looking more pre flowers but still does not come in bloom, will continue to grow more, here is an automatic plant xl 🤗
what a good genetics, it is already a nice leafy plant and something big, I calculate that it will continue growing during this week, it will soon enter flora, the oldest leaves begin to yellow just
Hi there @victor_Lion! Typically in these situations with Autoflowering plants there are two things that can happen. 1: You put it to a 12/12 light schedule and give it light educed flowering.. this happens when the dominant photo-period genetics come out and overtake the Recessive Autoflowering genetics. (this is not the case for you!) The 2nd situation is what happened in your case - You just had an extremely long vegetative stage. Most people would consider this a blessing with Autoflowering plants because it generally always ends with a higher yield! This happens every once in a while where the Auto plant has determined its environment is well better equipped for an extended veg state. Nothing to worry about friend this happens all the time (although you case is VERY long) and only ends in higher yields! I hope I was able to bring some insight into your late flowering stage Victor! Feel free to ask anything else you are curious about. 😎
the last week has been transition to flowering, the plant begins to eat the first leaves 🍁 a few days ago I gave him homus liquidated, I think everything is fine
this last week a little more will be stretched, we will have good harvest, I hope that the cold that begins to be more noticeable does not affect, all right, the pellets of hairs begin to swell
more and more recina and the rich odors are noticed, the e removed from below the lamp and put there my other small, everything goes well if I'm not mistaken, still missing. some yellow spots with brown appeared, in a few leaves, I suspect that it is overfertilization, or sunburn, I do not know
Beginning week 14, the latter was noticed more progress in flowering, some brown pistils begin to be seen and more and more milky trichomes, but still needs to put on weight surely
starting week 15, new pistils are still coming out and I've seen one or another Amber tricoma, the time is done but still need I think, rinse yesterday
Some flowers and leaves painted in purple have become evident, some pistils have just come out, and it is difficult for me to find amber trichomes, do you think I should cut?
according to the lunar calendar tomorrow is a good day to harvest, and I was just thinking of cutting this plant,
If you were me, would you harvest tomorrow or wait longer?
last photos before cutting, should be a new record 18 weeks and 4 days, this was not fastbuds xd, ami see the buds were already well filled and the milky trichomes and few amber, a very rich and very smelly chocolatey and creamy smell, happy
buds with a very good density, I got a really very creamy flavor, an effect with a very sativa rise that becomes indica, the production was good and the buds numerous
the cycle of the crop was very long I do not know if it was genetic or the environment, it was almost like a normal strain, it could have left it 20 weeks or more, but I did not want many white trichomes, the growth was good and without complications,
Looking good man , my next grow is some fast buds GSC I will follow along to see the progress of your grow ! Good luck on this grow and the many that come in the future !
-Happy Growing!
In my experience the answer to your question is really as simple as “it happens”. I wish I could pretend I knew why. I’ve grown the same strain in the tent using the same soil, same feedings and the same training techniques and often find fairly radical differences, like one is slower to switch to flower than another. Personally I feel autoflowering, while very damn good these days, is not perfect. Meaning while they might produce similar looking, smelling and tasting buds, they won’t all grow the same. Some take a longer amount of time to mature than others (like people). But eventually they all grow to maturity. On a side note, I’ve also found the autos that take longer to switch to flower usually grow the largest and yield the most at the end. I’ll add one more note, don’t get over excited about “harvest in 8 weeks” or whatever the breeder claims, I find that is BS in reality most of the time. The plant will tell you when she’s ready to harvest if you know what to look for. Personally I find it common for autos to go 10-12 weeks (or more).
Id say the longer period has been because of your environment. Autos have been known to flower longer in an outdoor setting than indoors. You look at other diaries on FB and the average Id say is 12 weeks give or take.
@victor_lion This is looking good. There has been some decent growth in the last 2 weeks. If you have any other questions about entering flowering just feel free to ask 😎
