Day29F - Buds really taking on form.
Smell of banana kicks soon as tent opens, but on touching its more of a banana sherbert still π€€.
Day 31F, noticing calmag deficiency, prior to flush, but looking st other diaries and monitoring her trichomes, she is very nearly at her end.
I'm seeing 70-80% cloudy-clear trichomes, so just watering now, pH balanced with calmag to finish to the week.
Pistils maturing, trichomes flooding, starting to see cloudy, will try push feeds and water for this week then if she's ready I'll flush next week π€βοΈπ
Day33F - she has now matured well enough for me to start flushing. Seeing cloudy fat trichomes now covered all over. I'm using RQS led Carson micro to inspect.
Started to flush using 2gal each time PhD water with Flawless finish Advanced nutrients.
60-70% run off.
Smell is phenomenal.
Camera does no justice. I will invest this Xmas and treat myself ππ
Monitoring closely now for them amber trichomes.
I have noticed rusting on the autoflower leaves, it is within its last 2 weeks of cycle, but looking into, it looks like a cal mag deficiency.
Is she just hungry? Do calmag every feed and water?
I'm trying the latter to combat the problem, any advice for future ref is appreciated
It looks like a cal/mag deficiency but I would not worry about it this late into the game. Youβre nearly to the finish line by the looks of things.
I would just water with pure pH balanced water from here on out. Let the plant use up as much of the stored energy as it can, in my opinion it really helps the cure process.
For future grows, I would boost your cal/mag up slightly during flowering, especially the first 3-4 weeks. If you wish to run cal/mag during your whole grow it would be best to find a nitrate free source of CalMag to do that.
I hope this helps.
@thefrozenking, thank you!! And I just had a flick through man you did good with banana, I'll msg you in final week so you can see how these got on.π
@James, hi James, I have added a cane, and tied down sides the most I can, what else can you recommend to try tame the main colar without stressing to much, should I just try to work her down to a 90' Bend like mainlining but from 3/4th node down? That's my last idea but I think I could cause more damage and stunt than necessary.
@James, thank you James, advice taken. I've tried to lst her sides down literally to the brim of my pot now, I'll update tomorrow with a picture. If I struggle and she keeps climbing, I may need to ask for recommendations about height limits as she only has 45cm till surface of lightt now!!
Getting worries was not anticipating this monster π she's taking up over a 3rd of a 1.2 x 60 cm tent. So hopefully I can keep pulling her back or possibly supercropping? Never tried on a auto before though.
@GrowsHimself, I'm so shocked at what this auto has provided on a wet bud weight after her initial wet trim.
Amazing.
Thank you so much for following and showing support growmie ππ
I'll update dry bud weight and smoke report soon βοΈ
@DeepRootsGrowTrees, cheers bro, she's not as thirsty as the others but she is on her own in 3gal.
Defoliating 2days ago I'll update today with her bounce back hopefully π
@MrJones, thank you π she's doing herself proud atm π.
I know tell me about it, takes too long, but on the other hand, using advanced nutrients like this was expensive but I want to rest the yeild, to doing the same run before Xmas but with just base and possibly 2 or 3 of the extras.
I was using RQS easy tabs but they didn't quite deliver on the quality of buds when it came to flower.
βοΈπ
@MrJones, thank you, I have just noticed my pH pen is out of calibration so I need to sort today, but she is still swelling. Think this will be last week of feeds for her, but yeah advanced nutrients are bloody expensive if you want to do the works, I'm doing these 2 runs on them to see if more beneficial or just stick to base nutrients and odd extra.
Thanks for commenting βοΈπ
@WeirdoT, I'll update in about 10-12 days depending how they hang dry.
The smell of pure banana followed by a smack of sweet sherbert is on the nose every time I open the tent at the moment ππβοΈ
@MistaMcFly, thank you kindly π I'm so flipping happy with her outcome, and super excited for the smoke test after dry, will then cure for 10weeks and do another one βοΈπ
She is looking amazing π Youβve convinced me to pop some myself! Her foliage is looking so dark and glossy she seems to be absolutely thriving. And the colour coming through on the bud is
@GrowsHimself, thank you π honestly the best pheno I've ever done. Don't know if I was lucky to get a purple or if they have now dialed the pheno colours down perfect.
But the plant just impresses me daily.
Like you say for a auto she grows large, wide and tall like a photo, but minumum effort.
If popping these, I would advise LST to prep for her stretch as she does climb πβοΈπ
Good luck growmie π€
