Bought a 5 pack ended up getting 7. All 7 beans grew well. I sought out this seed for its flower pressing potential.
Taken from the description from where I bought the seeds (seedsman.com)
"Papaya Bomb x GMO Cookies FAST is a quick-flowering, indica-dominant strain with excellent hybrid vigour and good resistance. With its high degree of tolerance to both cold and drought conditions as well as its resistance to mould in late flowering, Papaya Bomb x GMO Cookies FAST offers a wealth of attributes that make it an attractive proposition for growers. Indoors, flowering takes nine weeks at which point the mature buds will be rich in THC. The scent is of tropical papaya fruit with some savoury and fuel notes to add complexity. THC content is between 20 - 28% making this a very potent strain. N.B. Atlas Seed FAST flowering are described as "semi-full term"."
I cooked up some soil with 1/3 sphagnum peatmoss 1/3 worm castings and 1/3 perlite. I also added Gaia Green 4-4-4 and some kelp from down to earth.
In the pictures you can see from the center of the light I have a few probes hanging at canopy level as well as a 24 inch long string. The string has white markings on it for every 6 inches. I use that to approximate the lamp to plant distance.
Cuttings were taken for future growing. Im going to need to let these plants completely mature, press and test the results before I know which cutting is a keeper.
I was lazy and didn't transplant the plants into larger containers. Rather I just piled as much pre-amended soil as I could on top of the existing soil. When I eventually grow out the clones I wont make the same mistake.
I took a picture of one of my plants along with a cutting. "single mom's deserve love too" for the AC infinity valentine's contest. I had too many nights to think about the photo and the idea kind of got wild. Hey I still had some fun with it 👽
03/03 marks the end of the 9th week of flower. The breeder says the plants finish at this time, but my microscope says wait another week. I'm going to chop 1-2 plants each time I water. I can't have the plants needing to be trimmed all at once, I'd lose my mind.
