This one is a true beauty. Very strong and vigorous. Thick stems, huge leaves that pumps water like crazy. even at 4 weeks you already know she is a winner.
Despite the challenging beginning she is on the right track.
Beautiful growth this week. Plants are super happy and praying a little.
The bigger ones have been vegging nearly double the amount of time on lower light intensity and less frequent feeding. I've been dealing with a lot of root problems for the first time and had to reschedule the whole run. Also had to pop more seeds and wait 4 weeks for them to grow.
Light was increased from 400 to 600w and lowered couple cm a day.

They exploded with growth this week. Beautiful deep dark green colors, on the verge of blue. Those are going to fade insanely. Can't wait.
I am also battling gnats hard. I ve already applied nematodes around a million per pot. Earlier I used h2o2, azadirachtin, hclo. Don't know if the nematodes worked. They need hit the larvae and it's only one of four growing stages of gnats. Pupae, eggs and adults are not affected by nematodes.
I've also found bacillus thuringiensis israelensis - culinex. It's not so easy to buy in Europe. I had to source it form Germany. I hope I will win with these fckers.
I am also having really hard time with humidity since it's wet and damp and pretty warm. Instead of dry and cold in the winter.
Do you have any tips for keeping humidity at bay?
Cheers,
Wb

Red hot cookies performing stunnigly as always. This is a true beauty and a wonderful plant. Very healthy and sturdy. Yesterday I already noticed some distinct candy mandarine aroma with some chocolate cookies mixed in. Lets hownshe develop those lovely colours ans smell.
One of the older plants is already fed 7 times a day. Thats a record for me. In around 9l of coco.
Grow is going on nicely. Red hot cookies pistils started to turn orange a bit early. Did not experience this before I think. I hope it was not some kind of potassium deficiency. I was a bit late to raise ec. It was around 1.8 in week 5. I was hesitant to rasie it more because run offs ec was consistently getting higher than feed. From 1.8 to around 2.2. I will leave it at 2.0 for a couple of days and see. Than probably flush to lower it a bit down, and lower it further for putting on mass period and last weeks.
7 th week of flower. They stopped putting on size. Now they put on some mass and mature. No happy with the colours. Maybe ec was too low in the beginning. Next time I will try to bump the ec up in the first stage of flowering and reduce gradually.
All in all good run. I expected a little more mass and colours but still it was a success.
I think it's my last encounter with this strain. The best pheno from this family was my first and one of 15 Tropicana poisons I popped last year.
Harvest went well. Not much to report. I have to focus to remove more growth that does not receive enough light. Trimming airy buds is nightmare and they don't weigh much in the end.
@Herbie101, thank You mate. It's a special plant indeed. It's my 3rd time growing it and it's one of the best strains for me.
First of all it's beautiful with its colors, superb aroma and taste. High is very nice.
Very very very robust plant, really strong and healthy growth. Resilient to pest and disease also.
One time Ive had a nasty root rot issue with nearly all of my plants. Red hot cookies were the only plant to withstand the pathogen.
They’ve stacked up lovely, got a really nice structure 😸
If they were mine, I’d cut all nutrients now and start giving them PH’d water (I just use dechlorinated tap water)
Should be done in a couple of weeks 🌱💚
@PersonalSmok3s, thank you! I've already reduced nutrients a lot to around 1.2 ec. Next couple of days I will get to phd water only.
All the best to you growmie.
