Berry White Seed Cultivation

Mugatu *The purpose of this grow is to cultivate seeds/pollen* This week I cut myself some clones from my Berry White mother plant. Those are currently rooting in my veg cabinet. Once rooted two clones will be moved outside. One of the clones will be forced to form pollen sacks using Colloidal silver. The resulting xx (female) pollen will be used to fertilize the second clone. The desired final results are one plant fertilized, one plant "selfed" and extra pollen for future use. The CS was really simple to make. You can see in my pics all I needed was silver wire, a cork, an old phone charger and a flask. I let the system run overnight with resulted in 11ppm. There is (as always) lots of different recommendations on dosage, but Ive decided to use the 11ppm and see how it goes.

Mugatu So this week I had a change of plans. I didn't like the way my 2 BW clones were looking in my veg box, so I built myself an aero cloner. It is a simple setup. 2 Gal. Bucket (free), water pump(free), regular single head 360° sprinkler head ($1.50), 1/2" hose barb adapter (0.65$), "solo cup" shot glasses ($1.50), foam garden kneeling pad ($1.50), 1-3/4" hole saw ($8.50).Total cost to me- $13.65+tax. I'll let you figure out how I used each of those items 😄 The new plan is to root all 6 clones and choose the top 3 for this project. The other 3 will go to a friend. Mugatu This week my three ladies in the aerocloner finally made it into some soil. I was planning on giving them away, but I’ve decided to keep them (greedy Mugatu). So that gives us 2 clones transferred from indoor hydro, 3 clones started and rooted in the aerocloner outside and one clone living the good life in a pot by itself. Now, a reminder for those just tuning in. The goal of this grow is seeds and pollen. The first 5 mentioned clones will all receive colloidal silver with hopes that it will achieve the desired effect on at least a couple of them. That pollen will be harvested and used to pollinate the lonely girl in the pot and a Critical XXL Auto (if it survives. See other diary). End result, BW seeds and HOPEFULLY seeds of what I think is a new hybrid.

Mugatu This week all the clones made their way into soil. Growth is slow due to cold weather and short days, but for an experiment everything is going great. So far there are no signs of pollen, but we still have a ways to go.
