I pre watered the soil using tap water. This was before I had a ph meter so it was just straight tap water. Then placed one seed in each of the three, five gallon fabric pots. Only 1/3 seeds successfully germinated.
This is before I changed my lights. She is under Barrina grow lights in these photos. This is a full week after germination. I started LST training on day 6 after germination.
These photos are technically day 12 and posts for this grow are caught up to being current. Definitely growing well. So far no nutrients and watering when dry with 6-6.6ph water. Now she is under the Aglex 800W.
She is looking beautiful and really starting to get bushy thanks to LST. However I was a little too rough and cracked one of the shoots. I have braced it with a stake and so far she doesn’t seem to notice. Two days ago I fed 1tsp of Fox Farm - Grow Big in about 1 gallon of water maybe a bit less. Really hoping the cracked shoot doesn’t effect her too much.
She’s definitely getting big and bushy and seems to really love the LST I have been doing to spread her out. I’ve given her a good watering. However I’m starting to get some yellowing on the tips of the leaves and I’m not quite sure what’s causing it. I’ve been told it’s because I’ve given her nutrients and I’ve been told I’m giving her too much light. I’m not quite sure what to do. Any advice would be much appreciated. For now I have moved her to get not a strong direct light. I’m using an 800 watt Aglex light at 50% around 38” from the top of the plant.
She’s in her first week of flower and looking massive for a “Dwarf”. I did a couple rounds of defoliation and she seemed to love that along with all of the LST it took to even out the canopy. Can’t wait to see how she turns out!
She’s officially 7 weeks old. It’s been a very long time since I’ve measured her but she’s definitely getting tall. And she’s got a ton of bud spots. As this is my first grow I’m really unsure of how defoliation I should be doing at this point. I’ve done quite a bit throughout the process. However she’s quite bushy now and I don’t know how much to cut out. Any advice would be appreciated. But she grows on!
It’s pretty hard to believe we are in week 9. She is looking really well. I noticed some purple which I’ve found is due to lacking phosphorus. So I’ve made sure to up the feeding some and I added beastie bloomz. She has tons of really great looking buds but they don’t seem to be that big. Hopefully they will put on some weight in the next couple of weeks.
She’s officially 10 weeks old today. She has quit drinking water and starting to fade pretty hard. The trichomes are cloudy but not amber at all. So I’m unsure if I should harvest or not. I’ll probably wait until Sunday (4 days) until I chop.
All trimmed up and weighed out. Can’t believe that she yielded a pound of wet weight. Absolutely unreal for my first grow. Can’t wait to see the dry weight.
