Week 7: Stopped lsting for the moment. Think i'm gonna use a net. day 46: Top dressing day: I gave every plant in my tent additional 25 grams of solid GK pellets, 25 grams GK powder and roughly 10 grams of chicken pellets (fractured the rest i had). Dosage goes by following GK schedule. Since i have 9 liter pots and only prepared the Bloom mix i added the 2 liter dosage to the top dressing feed. The pellets should solve within the next 2 or 3 weeks or so. Ash can be added via watering later. Checked the NPK of Biocanna Vega: it contains a lot of Nitrogen and a major fraction of Phosphor as well so i can intervene if the plants develop a sudden hunger in that way. I raked the soil in the upper part of the pots rim, pushed the pellets in the soil put the powder on top, watered and put the leaves back on. A day later they seem to be a little upset because of the rough treatment. The size of the pots is rather small. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Cocopopo (Bulk Seed Bank) x 3 slowly crawling out of their bed. All 3 seeds i planted have germinated in the Eazy Plugs. I have just put them under light. The plan is to top and train them in 1.26 l pots such as the other three plants can be seen on the pic above (Watermelon Jam - Bulk Seed Bank). I'm going to plant one of the seedlings in soil i collected from the nearby woods during grow phase (1.26 liter pot). I was checking out the nearby soil conditions to estimate where to plant the multiple generations of this years planned autoflower outdoor grows. Mostly the soil around here contains more clay but still has a lot of humus and a good drainage. Usually i'm looking for places with enough elemental input via rain. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I recently had a Big Bud grow with seedlings i bought from a local store. I found 2 speckled proper looking seeds. This is one of them. The other one is watering and will maybe join here. I harvested the foregoing Big Bud grow after 7 weeks. Impressive that they can also produce developed seeds in such a short time. It's sharing Homebox with the Auto Bubblegum Extra grow (BulkSeedBank) i run at the moment. I also just put a few Cocopopo and Watermelon Jam Seeds, both from BulkSeedBank as well, in Eazy Plugs and they will also join the tent. Planning to top and train them in 1 l pots as well as this big bud specimen, in preparation for the plants in the following link leaving the Homebox. https://growdiaries.com/diaries/192071-bulkseedbank-auto-bubblegum-extra-grow-journal-by-senfman

Hi buddy your soil looks to me like it has no perlite, so the oxygen content in the soil is too low. The result is waterlogging. What is the PH value of your irrigation water? Are you really measuring it? How often do you water your plants? How far away is your lamp? What is your dimmer set to, if present?

@AcidBurn_40, Everything fine again. It was too much water for the seedlings, you were right. It was my fault, cause i thought i can supply N via just the coffee grounds solution and therefore i watered a lot. It's been a while since i grew my own seedling and i forgot that they couldn't compensate their accellerating growth with the already built up leaf mass in case of a nutrient lock. Thanks for your hints!! :) Meanwhile i use my urine to feed N instead of the coffee grounds solution. I'm processing the coffee grounds now with my kitchen waste in a Bokashi,, to experiment with in future grows.

@AcidBurn_40, That's right it has no perlite. I'm trying to avoid buying this cause of it's carbon footprint. So i took a sustainable seeding compost for the young plants. The soil has got a loose structure using other things than perlite just like trees needles. Maybe i was a little to generous with watering since i moved them to the new pots. Will let them dry a more before i water next time, which is usually once in 24 hours. Thanks for the hint. Do you mean the ph value of the rinse or the feeding? I never had problems with it so far and also never measured the rinse. The distance between the lamp and the plants is 38 cm. The lamp is not dimmed now running at max 205 W.
