After a few years of darkness in my tents I started itching again so I just fired everything up and popt some old beans I still had from 2019-20 and they all sprouted but one dried out 🤷‍♂️ every I’m using this grow is with old stuff I still had, coco, nutrients, all from back in 2021 when I did my last harvest

22/02 start of week 4 The 3 girls are growing pretty well,2 are about 15cm tall now and the short one is like 12cm,the small bulky one I topped at day 10 and again yesterday day 21,I wonder if it’s because I topped her so early that she is so bulky, first 10day’s she looked like her sisters who were topped on day 17, they seem to keep growing bigger internodes I pinched these girls stems yesterday and today they were almost completely hard again, does anyone else uses this technique btw? Let me kno 24/2 all 3 girls got a feed with ec 1.7 ph 5.5 Run off was equal on all 3 plants ec 2.1 ph 5.7 Ec went up a bit high butt not a point that I’m worried because ph seems to stay stable 25/2 topped the 2 biggest girls for the second time, all are looking pretty happy 28/2 accidentally broke 1 of 2 main stems whilst trying to tie them down but maybe I pushed it a little to far this time 😅

29/2 start of week 5 for these girls, everything looks great so far, even after snapping 1 main branch, used some paper painters tape to fix it and she still looks happy to me Main stems really got big and chunky for the size they are 1/3 girls got their new shoes on,transplanted them to 15l airpots and moved them in to the other tent under the 630w cmh,at the moment it’s only running @ 380w If everything goes well I’ll probably gonna flip them to flower in week 6 2/3 screwed up my transplant lol, plants were all drooping, did a run off test.ph 5.5 went in,6.9 came out..then I realized I washed my old coco out with plain water, when I transplanted I for got about this and transplanted them into the coco that was stil pretty moist and thought I could skip a watering this way,..instead of less work I now can start flushing the coco. Prept 20l @ph5,2 for 3 15l airpots..after the flush my soil was back @ 6.0,I gonna leave it this way and I gonna feed them at 5.5 the next few waterings and keep an eye on the run off if I progresses I the right way 3/3 the 2 biggest ladies seem te rebound quicker maybe I’m gonna flip only only these 2 and veg the little bulky one for a lot longer to do a 1tent 1plant flower cycle 5/3 added a automated water pump to the grow.found it on Amazon for only 22€,I can use it to water up to 8 pots if I want

7/3 girls are looking happy again after a bad transplant, gonna give them a week extra of veg,I also noticed that the smaller one has 3 leaves/node and shoots 3 new branches every node 9/3 did some light defoliation, mainly pulled all older leaves with damage, stems are all getting fat and chunky 10/3 decided to top these girls again to try and keep them as low as possible before flipping to flower 13/3 last day of veg for these girls, installed the scrog net so I can spread them out for another week when they start to stretch so I can keep them a bit lower because my tent is only 1.6 m

14/3 flipt the timer to flower last night so we are back in flower since a long time, Ooh yes and I forgot to mention earlier in the diary but I’m using an alternative lighting regime,I’m using 9-3-9-3 for veg and flower timer is on 6-6-6-6 first time trying this but seems to work perfectly for the veg stage so I don’t think it’s gonna be a problem for flower The 5 year old hy-pro nutrients seem to still work very good for veg, let’s hope they can keep up in flower too 🤞🏻 17/3 switches the one in the front to the right because it’s easier to add an extra plant on the left because I can unzip the whole corner.I keep tucking those branches down for the first week of flower 20/3 first week of flower is almost over, gonna quit tucking them under the scrog net so they can grow towards the light,I’m going to keep the lights as close as possible to the canopy so I hopefully can minimize their strech a bit

21/3 start of week 2 of flower, girls definitely drinking more and more, they around 0.8l every 12 hours when the lights go on I stop tucking their branches under the scrog, from now on I’ll let them grow straight up 23/3 the girls are growing strong 💪🏻 they get about 2 l of feeding every day at this point 26/3 one of the girls looks a bit droopy so I checked the automatic water pump,I recharged the battery but I didn’t know the settings were gone, reinstalled the timer and gave them about 1l each from the top

28/3 start of third week of flower for these girls,im also starting the defoliation bit by bit on each plant.they start to drink a lot more, they get about 2l everyday now I probably will install a extra trellis net by the end of the week when everything is defoliated 2/4 did some more defoliation and installed the second trellis to day girls are looking great 💪🏻 3/4 d28 end of third week from flip to 6/6/6/6,I hope these girls going to stop their strech phase anytime and start flowering,I’m going to cut back on the defoliation,I’m just going to pick some leaves when they’re obstructing light to the bud sites, they all get about 2l of feeding every day,1l every 12h Happy growing everybody ✌️🌱

4/4 d22start of week 4 after the flip,no signs of flowering yet,I hope they stop stretching soon because I otherwise need to dim light a bid to prevent bleaching Girls are doing really great 8/4 d26 supercropt the top colas of the left lady because she’s getting a bit to tall and I don’t want to dim the light further hopefully they will start flowering soon 10/4 d28 of flower, changed the light cycle to 5/75/7 to try and force them into flower, also supercroped the largest stems,I can’t dim the cmh further, thinking about clipping those supercropped tops so I I can krank the power back up

11/4 w5 of flower starts with still no flowers but they keep stretching, had to clip the top 10-15 cm from the largest stems because I otherwise will end up with burned tops at the top and a fluffy bottom, they only get 10h light since yesterday,I hope this will trigger flower production this week,I’m also going to switch the blue bulb to a red one as soon as the red arrives Happy growing everyone 💪🏻🌱🙏🏻

Week six starts without flowers🙄 dialed back the hours of light to 8h hopefully this will trigger them into flower this week or I’m forced to end this grow,it’s costing me to much without any progress and things to try to get them into flowering butt I still hope for the best Happy growing

Finally buds after 7 long weeks of trying to get them to full flower after experimenting with a 6-6-6-6 n-d-n-d light schedule After some weeks of trying to fix it and stumbling on an article about the gas lantern routine here on gd I came to the conclusion I was running on an altered gas lantern routine so I tried the flowering method they advised in the article and it seems to work, first buds are showing up so I don’t have to end the grow after all but I have a few concerns with the distance to the lamp things are starting to get slightly palle look and I don’t want to cut them back any more now they finally started to flower I also changed the reflector of my cmh from deep to wide, hopefully I can stop the discoloration from the center of the canopy because the light spreading is bigger instead of focu So today 25/4 will be day 1 of real flower for these girls, better late than never 😂
