Got these for free at RQS. Let's see how it goes. It's my 3rd grow, tips are appreciated :)
17/2/2024 - Put both seeds in jar of water left to soak.
18/2/2024 - 8 hours later, both seeds germinated on day 2. Left me very surprised. Plagron growmix came late, so put seeds on wet paper towel on a plate and left them in the dark.
23/2/2024 - The soil arrived in the mail. I sprayed the roots wet, dipped the roots in a cup of Pokon Rooting Powder and moved both seedlings to a Plagron growmix substrate, 12.5L of substrate per plant. Watered 100mL both.
About 20 DLI light for starters. 24h light because autoflower and only using 50W LED. 60% humid. Constant 21 degrees C.
24/2/2024 - First true leaves showing, bigger on A than on B. B shows curled true leaves due to seed shell staying on for way longer.
Growmix substrate info: pH (EN13037): 5,9 - 7,2. E.C. (1:1,5): 1,0 - 1,5 mS/cm. Nutrients 1,8 kg/m³ mineral (NPK 12-14-24).
First 3 weeks after I moved the seedlings to the growmix I'm not using any nutrients as the growmix has enough (and the seedling itself). Afterwards I'm using Plagron terra grow for vegetation phase, terra bloom (and later green sensation) for blooming phase.
27/02/2024 - Day 10 - Just water, once per week. First week after germination and both are in 12.5L pots with the growmix and 100mL water in both. Leaves of seed B fixed itself! They were repotted on day 7 and they started growing after their repotting 'shock' on day 8 again. Looking all healthy. Let's wait!
28/02/2024 - Soil of seed B dry as a bone for the top 3cm. Watered 200mL pure water around the sapling until the edge of the pot, making sure not to water too close to the sapling. Seed A soil is a bit wetter, but still watered 200mL to keep both balanced.
Details filled in (temps, size, etc) are of the end of the week.
4/3/2024 - Day 16: Dry soil, watered 250mL for the week. Time to experiment with LST soon! Growing steady :)
8/3/2024 - Day 20: Watered 250mL both no nutes
11/3/2024 - Day 23: Watered 250mL. Started LST (which is why size got smaller). Pulled main stem towards the side of the bucket.
14/3/2024 - Day 26: Getting thirsty, watered 500mL both. Main stem growing up again. Side stems still small under the big fan leaves
18/3/2024 - Day 30 - 3 weeks in growmix, so soil nutes should be gone. Watered both 500mL with 2.5mL terra bloom.
19/3/2024 - Day 31 - Performed some LST
Note to self: Day 28 = 3 weeks in soil, start adding nutes.
