Hello fellow growers and users of my favorite lady Mary Jane. We are in week 8 of the flowering stage from the Gold Bar Kush. The Gold Bar Kush from SpliffSeeds works well under the normal HPS of 600watt and under the HPS Killer LED lamp of 480watt. The buds are still swelling and the hair is getting browner. I think for another week and then I'll harvest them, but you read that in the new year. I still have the idea that the results between the HPS and the HPS Killer are not far apart, taking into account the wattages of the lamps. I must say that the test had been better in two different tents because now it overlaps each other. See a regular HPS has been proven in the past with me. With the LED I have less experience but that does not mean that LED is less. It is in any case a whole saving on your breeding. Look, I know that the LED lamp is usually more expensive, but it lasts a lot longer and with a regular HPS you have to buy a new bulb per round and when you buy the lamp you also need a secure switch box with clock. With regular HPS you do not have to be a scrog master although it works better but is not a necessity. With the LED I would scrog more because it gives better results. A LED lamp also emits less heat and that saves the use of the extractor and you do have to give less water. So I think you have to count all plus and minus points with this match. I am going to work with the regular HPS again the next round because I have more experience and better harvest with that lamp. But that is purely a personal preference. I think the Gold Bar Kush looks very nice and that while the temperature has indeed been an issue and the ladies have done well. I find them very stress resistant I must say that I gave the ladies under the LED an aspirin of 100mg on a liter. Just for the sake of clarity, a paracetamol is not aspirin because the substance is salicylic acid and that is not in paracetamol, please note that even though a paracetamol can not harm, it will not give the desired effect that an aspirin does. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a good new breeding year. Smoke on!
