ThickFreakness Week 1

ThickFreakness It’s warming up outside and have 6 1G fabric pots for transplant.

ThickFreakness BB have much for vigor. NL5 are weaker. All of them were kind of yellowing droopy. Raised light: 4” / seaweed extract for N. 2 days later transplanted 3 healthiest into 1G fab adding .5oz of thrive to the watering. I suspect temps could be the issue

ThickFreakness I transplanted the remaining seedlings to 1G fab pots (BAS 3+10% bio char). Still have heat mats under the trays (72deg), taking dome off for a few hours before lights out. Concern: temps avg 68, RH 40, VPD 1.3

ThickFreakness A good amount of growth this week. FIMed the blueberry. Northern Lights needed a little less light and and 10deg Increase in the heat mats. I got a 2x4 folding table, cuts the SQF down to heat.

ThickFreakness My Medica Grow mini sun 2 (320w) tried moving from 40% to 60%. I though the extra wattage may generate more heat. And it did increasing to 72* RESULT: In 24hrs they looked droopy and on the backside bleaching of the leaf tips on the new growth. Moved back down to min 40%

ThickFreakness 1)My soil was hydrophobic, 2) dry 1” down, 3) moisture test = 8-13% moisture 4) thin papery leafs I used RO 7ph spray lightly raised moisture levels to 15-22% watching vpd under vs over watering look similar Continue spaying soil up 25-30% moisture. Seeing some leaves perk up. Temps have made it up 74F. I need better humidifier. RH avg 50% avg VPD 1.30. Looking to strengthen the plants and wipe down leafs with soap. Possible spider mites.

ThickFreakness not so convinced about spider mites. I think it’s possible the deformations on the leafs and dark green shade could be nitrogen toxicity. Water: I give 10oz per plant in the morning light on, and spray tops and sides in afternoon to keep moist. Scoping my leafs I broke the main stem on BB#3 used electrical tape brace it. Took plants outside and sprayed Capt Jacks will now be my weekly IPM.

ThickFreakness Did IPM, NL #2 eliminated. Earthbox for 2 BB. There were a little shocked, but recovered the next day. Boosted medicgrow to 40% (300-375 PPFD) 30“ from canopy.

ThickFreakness NL #3 (reg) showing sex as male removed from tent. Getting a clone tent this weekend. May collect pollen. May practice pop and twist on him. NL#1 (reg) showing as female. did IPM, no clone tent. Got ac infin 2x2x4 shorty (veg tent). Set up shorty and move plants in to veg tent I will train the plants in Flower tent (FT) with trellis net. Flip as soon I think it filled. put trillus net up. Did light defoliation. Refill earth box 2.5 Gallons

ThickFreakness Mon: put trillus net up. Did light defoliation. Refilled Earth Box 2.5 G Wed: flipped 2x4 to 12/12. They are thirsty. The stem rub is strong like actual fresh blueberry. Sun: new trellis net, set it up. 2 cups of Craft blend as top dress.

ThickFreakness Tues: refilled earth box 2.5G / top watered 1 gallon to blend in top dress. The plants are really growing and there is plenty of pre flowers. Things are good Hopefully top dressing will solve the problem with BB#2 Sat pm: defoliation, refill earth box 2.5G, IPM . Maybe last spray. Mon night: BB #2#3 earthbox / top dress gnarley barley 1.5C and build a flower 1.5C. Worm castings 1.5 C / refilled earthbox 2.5G

ThickFreakness Tues pm: raised light 4” and turned up to 80%. PPFD 750 center to 350 on the edges. Used to trash bag from mulch cover. Wed: yesterday trimming up BB#1 I took 6 cuttings. Tnite I put them in CloneX; then into Root Riot cubes. Under a 15W 24hrs light cycle. Maybe I’ll have roots on a few in 10 days. Fri: Refill Earthbox 2.5G, raised light to 22in from canopy and 100% power.

ThickFreakness This didn’t save Monday. Thurs: refill Earthbox 2.5 gallons. I put a 2nd trellis net up. - set VPD 1.1 Fri: finished pollen collection for NL #1. Repotted clones 2 of 6 had roots out side of Root Riot. Had more success with a glass of on window ledge. Earthbox BB #2&3: defoliated, tucked trellis. Seeing nice frost.

ThickFreakness Tues pm: refill Earthbox 2.5G, bigger flower starts and frost. Nervous about humidity. Thurs night: refilled Earthbox 2.5 gallons. Will wrap up experiments today. Friday! Defoliated scouting for leafhoppers. Experiment: 6 cuttings of BB#1 [dip on CloneX Root Riot 1Wk peat pots] vs Glass on windowsill. Result: 4/6 in cubes 100% on windowsill. discarded 3. Remaining 3 transplanted to 1G pots test: BAS 3.0 vs Light.

ThickFreakness Refilling Earthbox 2.5G every third day Fri: defol, really sticky, hands arms forehead, blueberry, finger taste blueberry sweet Lemon. Very happy with this grow! I’m getting shit dialed in
