Plants did not like HID switch, leaves started to dry up and some yellow contour on one(medium one) just 4 days after..
Decided to revert to MH for a while, will change back to Hid later.
Also stems are becoming very dark red, perhaps due to flowering hormones and or stress?
Is it genetic?
Anyway...from those three gelatos we have a clear winner, the biggest one has started to smell so nice, strong orange peel, some guava and candy and respectable buds...
So happy I took some cuttings this time, because this one is a keeper!
The medium plant smells like light fruity kush candy floss and sadly she is the one that reacted adversely to the switch of light...
Time will tell.
The smaller one smells cheesy, she is a slow bloomer so far, but maybe she will develop monster buds? Lol I can hope!
Peace!
Very cool man !!! I wanna check out this grow till the end I'm going to follow along and check out the kick ass green gelato ! I've heard many good things about this strain ! Good luck !
-Happy growing !
although you had a rough start you are doing well.. they now look like nothing odd happened in the beginning..😎
ive also tryed the heating mat for clones but i was affraid to cook the plants(couldn’t find a sweet spot) so now im going other way around to rise temp for seedling phase in my other tent.. now im on 20-21 at day and would like to be around 24-25 ..
anyway what setup you have? do you plan to transplat before flower?
ive noticed the like to stretch a lot (but not too problematic).. so maybe try to top that one who had the worst start?!😀just to see since you’ve keep her for observation..but dont go out of your comfort zone..
anyway good luck mate!!
@@@flowerboy, I have to wire them, very tight and bushy.. so busy lately I have no time to do it!
Your grandmother got it right! Why not drink some again and compost the extra grains of kefir?
Thanks for help offered!
By the way Merry Christmas!
@Eauderay,itd not that hard to wire things.. if you need help just send me a message and il try to help you out ;)
i used to drink kefir when i was younger and my grandmother used to ferment it ✌️🏽great stuff bit i didnt think of using it like that.. great idea mate!
cheers
@@flowerboy, For the moment I am growing in my walk in wardrobe...It has a passive air ventilation, I should add a small extractor fan, not good with those things, wiring stuff...lol
Will be adding a DIY CO2 kefir ferment. ( I have so much of kefir lol because I make my own, great for your guts and wellbeing, really!)
The biggest girl is already in a big 30l fabric pot, so I will not transplant when I switch, but the two others I will.
Looks like I am going to have to bend them before I transplant!
Thanks for checking my plants!
Hey there sister! Plants are looking good. Like stated above a little something going on but other than that AWESOME! Im interested to see how these nutes work for you. Good luck! I'll check back in :)
@DeepgrowGrow, yes perhaps green gelato is very finicky, at first they look quite pale and some mutations, but at 5/6 weeks they start to look a lot better!
Good luck too!
I will follow your diary.
