Regenerating a keeper! From mommy market diary. I lost her clones so had to try to save the genetics of my favourite plant.
Feb 8 harvest day
- pruned top 2/3 of plant to hang dry
- cuts made straight across (forgot to cap)
- kept all fan leaves, trimmed remaining buds
- moved to veg tent under 24/7 light from 100 watt blurple set to veg mode
- same substrate (coco, no refreshing)
- flushed with vegetation nutrients until runoff matched inputs
- crossed fingers

Woohoo! Success ! And we have lift off! This girl has regenerated very easily and is covered in new growth. Reduced light time back to 18/6. Finally clipped off the old faded fan leaves now that she’s covered in fresh green. Going to take a couple clones to mother before sending her to flower for a 2nd run.
Finished trimming and jarring her 1st harvest. Her flowers and leaves were completely caked.

Successful regeneration has led to a new problem.. I don’t know where to flower her! I took a couple of cuttings of new normal growth to clone for now. Will take more cuttings as she develops further. She’s healthy and very cool.
I apologize for the strand of my hair caught around her old flower in the video.

She outgrew the space she was occupying so we set up a temporary vegging area in the spare bath making it very easy to continue to run to waste! I started adding vitathrive and potassium silicate to her feed and I sprayed her once with growth plus (cytokinin). The silicate raises the feed pH from 5.9 to 6.1/6.2 but that’s fine. She’s ready for taking clones and we will get our cloner ready for that now.

She’s getting lush, lots of good quality clones could be taken now. Wednesday gave her a foliar feed of spray-n-grow and growth plus. Daily feed to drain. Input 6.1pH and 750ppm, output 6.4pH and 850ppm.
Broke off a branch moving her and stuck it in rooting powder and into a bottle on my window sill with 1/4 strength feed just want to watch the roots grow, won’t be keeping her if she does but she’s currently drinking 10ml during the day and another 4ml at night 🙂
Sunday I decided to go ahead and clip her back and take some clones. Kept the best 10 for rooting, tossed another 15 or so. Gave mom another spray of growth plus and spray-n-grow after clipping. Watered in the clones with 20% strength bloom nutrients and vitathrive into peat pellets and popped them in a humidity dome under 24/7 light. I will up pot mama soon as I’m ready to transit her outside.
