So. It's time to prepare my DWC (Deep water culture) pot that I had bought a year ago. It taked from me something like half hour. Cleaned everything with water, connected all pipes and pump. Last week I had bought 20L of water in the market just for the plants. The nutrient I've used: Plagron Hydro A, Plagron Hydro B, Plagron Power Roots. PPM counts 384 on 6.6 Ph. The plant looks healthy up to now.
As I mentioned before for germination I used 3 seeds 3-4 years old. One seed had died other two geminated. I decided to start growing one of them in a cup for later replanting in the soil.
Remeark:
Started on 20th feb, 3 days germ. First week jf veg will ends on 1 march.
The begining of week 2:
I had added 6 ml of Hydro A & 6 ml of Hydro B to my bucket. It increses total PPM from 384 to 504.
Also I droped down Ph of solution from 6.6 to 5.85.
The plant in DWC looks twice bigger than a plant in a plastic cup
Day 12. It's looking like stem of my girl did't growing at all. Maybe a few mm in four days. Any advises on that?
Maybe it happening beacouse of the light stress, a week ago distance was about 35 cm, then I moved up the lamp to 85 cm, today encreased the distance to 106 cm.
The leafs looks big and healthy, but stem looks a bit thin, I think.
The roots start showing up. Today I've seen them first time.
Day 15. This time I had added 12 ml of Plagron Hydro A just to be sure that my plant had enough nitrogen. Removed couple bottom leafs for oppening lite to the stems on the first knob. Stem is thickens now.
Day 18. LST and Ponnytailing.
Day 20. Topping. Encreased PPM to 935, Added more of Hydro A. Now me girl have 6 stems, each have it's own way.
the difference in node spacing means your not hanging your light at the correct distance or you do not have the correct spectrum of light. tight internode spacing is key to a large harvest. more branches more bud its simple science lol
Nothing to worry about. Your lighting might be a little too strong will make the plant more short and condensed. Stretching is where the magic happens.
Revise su diario y la distancia de su lámpara es la correcta. Aveses para que su planta se estire un poco es cuestión de alejar la lámpara. También puedo pensar que su planta es predominancia indica y es una planta más ancha que larga. Se ve saludable. Saludos.
Week 4. Day 1.
At this moment I observe thickening of the stem and compaction of the root system.
Checking ppm level on daily basis. In three weeks it drops down only 15 points.
Rised ppm to 930.
Week 4. Day 3.
LST, SCROG, topping and defoliation today.
It's time to form my plant. I had taked off some fan leafs to open lite for new colas.
For girl in plastic pot I did only topping coz she's run up pretty fast. To open light for her I just put the cup on a side and leaving it for 6-8 hours. in next two weeks I'll transplant рук into a bigger pot.
Also I had added an Iron spray for them - Plagron Vita Race.
Week 5. Day 5.
Renewed solution in DWC. I've noticed that my girl have lack of calcium. So, I have to take care of it as soon as possible.
The girl in plastic pot has no issues at all.
