Tmasm Greetings to all visitors. Well, sorry for the lack of time for updates. Day 30 of flowering. Well, this week I messed up, my pH pen broke. Since I couldn't wait for a new one to water, I acted like a fool and mixed it as I usually do, but without measuring. Now everything has yellow leaves. pH is very low now that I have a new pen. I should have left the water as it was; it was only 2 waterings. The runoff pH was at 5.3. Well, I watered everything with pH 7 water. The runoff is now at 6.4, so I'll wait and see how it is for the next watering. Let's see how the girl reacts in the next few days. Yellow leaves, but they aren't drooping, so that's a relief. Tmasm Greetings to all visitors. Day 45 of flowering. Well, this week I messed up again 😲 I had problems with a new pH pen that was poorly calibrated, thinking the pH was low when it was actually high. I watered with a raised pH that was already high, it got worse. That's when I checked the pen and realized it was my mistake. To help, I started watering with controlled pH, but the plants are starting to consume the accumulated nutrients from 2 weeks of high pH. They didn't eat, I should have considered what nutrients were in the soil. I even thought about doing a flush, but I have some large pots, it probably wouldn't yield good results with the cold weather, it took too long to dry. Yellow and burnt leaves, but the girls are fattening up, branches are starting to droop, so that's good. Don't forget to check for updates next week. See you soon, with good vibes!

I need some help, a girl (critical 1), is starting to get bud rot. My question is, could it be due to overwatering? Could that cause root problems? She's in an old bathtub with a lot of soil, harder to dry out. Well, I'm going to cut her down a week early.

Gray mold or Botrytis (Botrytis Cinerea) is a pathogenic fungus capable of attacking over 220 plant varieties, including marijuana. It is the most common fungus in cannabis crops, whether indoors, outdoors, or in greenhouses, and will always be more present at the end of the flowering stage or during drying. There are different factors that can trigger botrytis in your plants: damage to the stem that causes a bud to dry out, the petiole of a cut leaf, caterpillar droppings, a leaf that dries out inside a dense and tight bud, or an environment that is too humid can be enough. That's why it's recommended to maintain humidity below 55% in the grow room during the flowering stage. The fungus you mentioned is Fusarium, which grows in the vascular tissues of plants and affects the supply of water and nutrients. Plants can be infected directly through the tips of the roots or wounds on the roots, but this is not your problem. Best regards.

Bud rot is not caused by the roots. Bud rot is typically because of too much moisture and not enough airflow. It can already very easy so be careful. Turn any fans off, start removing all effected branches. Even though you may only see it on a few buds, trim all the ones around that area too. The spores are microscopic and chances are they have spread to surrounding areas that you cannot see yet till it is fully colonized. Turn up your airflow, try to get humidity down if you can. Bathtub for a flower bed… unless you somehow have holes in the bottom for drainage, not the best choice. Hope this helps.

the bud rot spreads thru air movement and by you touching uninfected buds after touching the ones with bud rot high humidity levels and excess moisture is the culprit in this case . Carefully remove any rot infected material and bin it. the rest if mold free can be harvested normally ie as soon as possible Good luck mate

Thanks for your opinion. But I have a lot of doubts, my Rot isn't very normal, well when it's due to high humidity it gets moldy or something, this one doesn't dry out overnight, my humidity throughout flowering hasn't gone above 50%, normally 35/40% during the day and 40/50% at night.

This is bud rot pal. Too high rh, stale air.. Your whole crop looks decimated. Fans and air circulation is key I've no idea what can be saved..but get to it.

You are thinking too much about it. Whatever your levels are now doesn’t matter at this point because you have it. Best thing to do is cut it all out and then lower humidity and increase airflow.

Tmasm Greetings to all visitors. Girl 1 cut, day 50, 03/20/2024 Forced cut due to bud rot, well cut 5 days earlier than expected, could have been worse, Only plant affected 1/8. I'm still in doubt. Because I suspect a fungus that can't be controlled, can't remember the name. But I had this problem a few years ago, had to stop everything for over a month, disinfect everything Tent, pots, everything, even the soil I'm going to renew, it all went out. I remember at the time not even clones could be made, they died after a few days. Remaining hung for 5 days, temperature 21c⁰, humidity 55%. Yesterday all buds separated, putting in a cardboard box with newspaper, where it will stay for another 5/10 days, depending on its drying point, will move to glass jars, doing a minimum cure of one month. B-45, has 2 plants I'm going to cut today day 56, 03/26/2024 flowering, ready for a new update in a few days. Thank you Critical 2 cut day 75 of flowering
