Alright, so I didn't start this diary from the beginning but this is my x of Ethos genetics Purple Sunset X Ganjafarmer Zkittz. This is a monster crop clone taken from one of my favorite cuts of this strain. Very high resin producer with amazing structure and impressive yield. You can check out some of my older diaries and this cut is from the Grape o licious grow.
Anyways we're at week 6 of veg and we're going to be sending this bad girl into flower this week. The soil is my own mix but the nutrients are BAS 3.0 and the recipe is basically the same as there soil mix. I used Organics Alive Compost, pumice and rice hulls for aeration and the peat moss is made by Promix.
After mixing my soil and cooking it for a week I transplanted her in and gave her one week of veg. So she's ready. We're going to see if we can get away with water only for most of this grow but of course I'll be using the Growing Organic insect Frass Ferment and my homemade pumpkin ferment. (Discount code CollinT at growingorganic.com)
And I always water with q20 for the Saponins and it helps get everything wet down below. Hydrophobic soil is no good.
Well that's that! Thanks for checking us out and hopefully you'll watch this grow with me!
Alright, first week of bloom is down and out!
This little monster is doing great. She's definitely starting to stretch and if she goes along with her predecessor she will most likely triple in size in the next 3 weeks. This is my cross if Ethos genetics Purple Sunset X Ganjafarmer Zkittz. Two amazing pheno's went into making this cross and I'm extremely proud of her and what she capable of.
The main mother plant was stress tested personally by me and I know she's a stunner 😉.
I just started the bloom ferments once a week and I also put down another light layer of my IMO 4, for a microbial boost. Plus we're trying to get a nice strong beneficial population established and that requires continuous applications at first. But now we're all set and you can absolutely see the difference now that she's established in her pot.
I highly recommend you get into KNF style gardening if you're a living soil guy like myself. You'll be amazed by what you can make right at home.
Anyways that's it for this week, we're going to just continue our ferments once a week and continue the Athena foliar regiment until we see flowers.
Thanks for stopping by and we'll see ya next week.
End of week 2 flower,
Everything is moving along perfectly. Last week we gave her a nice root drench of micronutrients and Basil FPE which as you can see, she loves. The Basil and White Clover FPE is homemade and we're testing it out on this grow for late veg - transition into bloom. I'm loving the results so far. I also just started giving her some homemade Pumpkin FFE and I'll be using the Insect Frass Ferment from Growing Organic more and more as we get into flower. That's when a lot of the magic starts 😉.
She's growing nice and steady, definitely getting into her stretch which is great. She's already grew a foot since we flipped and she still has a little more to go...
Her pre flowers are coming in now and you can see how many bud sites she has as well as her beautiful stack. We should have some nice compact flower covered in resin come harvest. This is one strain that shows out in any conditions so I cannot wait to see how well she flowers being a monster crop.
Well that's it for now, we'll see ya next week when we start to get into full bloom.
End of week 3, bloom and things are moving along great.
We're about through the stretch or transitioning period. The plant is definitely well stacked from the looks. I've grown her before and I know what to expect from her. Big solid flowers!
This lady is going to be full of flower come harvest. She's already got her resin flowing on her pre flowers, so you know there is way more to come. She's starting to get that skinny, gasy GMO scent to her which I love. Funky terps are awesome imo...
I have her some Basil and White Clover FPJ that I just made(993 ppm!), as well as some Insect Frass Ferment from Growing Organic (discount code CollinT) and a little pinch of big 6.
This week I'm going to put down some castings and Craft Blend from BAS. Just wanna be sure she has plenty of nutrients.
Well that's it for now, thanks for stopping by. We'll see ya next week!

So here we are at the end of week 4 and we're full bloom now. She's done stretching (didn't stretch as much as the mom...), and is now stacking up her flower. We've got about 9 main colas that are all looking like they're going to be big chunky spears. This x never lets me down and is definitely one of my favorites. I can't wait to see how monster cropping her is going to get effect her final yield and terpene profile.
In my experience when you re veg like this or monster crop, your plants produce more yield wise, and have a much more exaggerated terpine profile as well as about triple the resin production! It takes more time but the results are well worth it.
Any way we just gave her a nice compost tea made of COM Stonington plant food (mainly castings), some LIMO, humic acid and kelp extract for a nice fungal dominant tea. Also really strong bloom booster 😉.
We also are continuing the ferments once a week. We may have to top dress some craft blend this week depending upon how much more these older leaves fade.
Well that's it for now, thanks for stopping by and we'll see ya next week!

Great week!
We're now in full bloom and this little lady is bulking up beautifully. We're experiencing a little senescence early on and that's new for this strain so I decided to add some BAS Craft blend and some castings as a top dress. I'm also continuing the insect Frass Ferment for another week then I'll add pumpkin FFE (Ferment), to the mix.
These girls absolutely love KNF style nutrients! Highly recommend if you haven't started researching Korean Natural Farming, that you do so. The grows with homemade ferments and IMO are amazing. Once that fungal ratio gets up your plants just thrive.
So that's that for now. Not much left to do for this lady but watch in wonder lol. Thanks for stopping by.

Alright it's the end of another week and we're having another fungus gnat issue unfortunately...smh.
These damn things just won't quit!
Anyways I put down some fresh castings and BAS Craft blend to hopefully help this lady along. She's been fading very fast which isn't normal for this strain at all. She is a fast finishing plant (8 weeks), but dang, I don't like the way she looks right now.
Hopefully she'll get over it and we can get rid of these damn gnats!
She's looking pretty light for week six, maybe we'll just have to push some organic nutes in her water... we'll see how.she looks after this week.
Thanks for stopping by and we'll see ya next week.

Alright so we're a little late for week seven and we're almost to the finish line for this lovely lady.
She didn't really stack as much flower as I had hoped but the buds look great so I'm not complaining.
The smell is super potent as well! Heavy skunk and gassy GMO terps make for a nice old school smoke.
I gave her a casting tea last week mixed with some craft blend and humic acid. That should get her through another week or so then we'll see how we're looking for harvest.
Thanks for stopping by.

Alright, so it's the end of week 8 bloom and we're almost to the finish line. I'm probably going to let her go a little bit longer than the last clones just to see how different the final product is with a longer flower period.
She could be chopped now honestly but I want a little more amber in this one.
Her colors are beautiful to say the least. She turned to a beautiful reddish purple and her fire orange hairs definitely set her apart.
Well that's that for now. Just waiting for harvest.

Alright so we're wrapping up week 9 of bloom for this lady. She's looking like she's finished bulking up and is now popping the last bracts before we can harvest.
Beautiful purple and red hues in her flowers, all covered in resin...I just wish her terps profile was more gassy but she's still a winner. Her terps are very old school, wet dog, GMO chem scents.
I ended up letting her go a bit longer than last time to see if her terps would be more exaggerated and it definitely helped. Plus her flower structure is much more dense with the extra week of bloom.
We're going to chop her down this weekend and that's that. Good grow.
So we're all done with another beautiful grow. This strain is one of my favorites, bringing old school terps and meshing them with something a little more modern makes for an amazing cultivar.
She ended up going ten weeks in flower this time and I'm definitely digging the terps and the smoke is nice and euphoric with a great sedating property.
Thanks for watch us!
