Here we go again! Thanks for Royal Queen Seeds hooking me up with the Blue Cheese Auto! They also gave me lots of nutes so I chose to make this grow around them! Let's see how much I can get using their stuff. Hyped!
Different from my last grow, I have a decent setup now. As veg/grow light I'm using the Mars Hydro 48. I think it's nice for beginners like me to see how well this over all cheap LED can do.
I'm also going to improve my training game. I will top my plants and do LST training. I want to get 70g yield.

DAY 14:
Lets get this baby strong! I am starting to add the Easy Veg Booster from RQS. I added 1g/l (recommended was 3g/5l) and I give it on her regular watering time.
Does anyone has experience with this nutes? Do I need to give water in between?

Hello @beer420 ! You can top autos. If you are going to top them you need to do it after the fourth node, not later or sooner. For your question if its worth my answer is not, at least for me. I have constantly better results with other kinds of HST and LST training. Happy growing ! 👊
DAY 21: Mixed week this one...
So first off all I was al little insecure about the way I topped my plant. I contacted some "masters" and they told me it looked fine. Altough I recommend to wait a little more if you are not sure if you can get the top, I think mine was to small to really get the "topping process" going. Only time will tell.
I gave them this week a liter water mixed with 1g of the Veg Booster from RQS. I think the results are coming because my plants are doing better then my previous grow.
Q1: But like before a (new) deffeciency came up. The tips of my leaves are hanging down. Could it be to the lack of nutes? Or I read about to much nitrogin from nutes but it told me the plant had to be in the flowering stage.
The lack of nutes will seems more logic to me because of the way the Easy Boost from RQS works. Because it is not liquid, I think my girl can't take em. I think the boost needs al lot of watering first to dissolve in the sand. Does this makes sense?

DAY 25: An update!
The topping went great! Two seperate stems forming. The leaves dont hang down anymore because I stopped the feeding. Looks like the excess of nitrogin was the problem! Thanks to Athos and Mrs_Larimar for the help.
Tomorrow I'm going to LST the plant, bend it down a bit so the bottom branches get more light. I know its a bit late but I wasn't at home.

The tips of my leaves are hanging down. I looked it up and it could be a lack of nutes. In my description more about that. What do you guys think?
Also my plant stems are getting a bit purple. This could be the PH level?

That's called clawing, it's a sympton of excess nitrogen (over feeding) like the burnt tips that can also be seen on some of your pictures. Let the plant feed from the soil and stop feeding it for now. The purple stems could be due low temperature, try to get them above 23°C (73°F) or magnesium deficiency, but before rushing to buy anything, keep in mind that excess nutes can lockout minor elementos like magnesium. So stop feeding, rise temps and see how it goes.
DAY 28:
So yeah, as you see week 4 is a flower week... First I thought the trichomes were there to show sex but as you see they kept coming. This really sucks because the plant is far from being strong. This problem is due to poor genetics. I hope there will be big buds but the difference between the flower time of my other grow is huge.
Anyway, someone has any tips to turn this in something nice? Or can someone tell me why it started this early? Stress from the topping maybe?
The training went well tho, you see the canopy is pretty even. I used some wires to bend them in the right place and the 7 buds that I have are now in the full lights.

DAY 33:
So I came home and did another portion of training. It really sucked to train her bc of the two main stems coming out bc of the topping. For this particular genetic it doenst seemed the right call to top her because first of all she vegged out pretty quick. The second mistake i made was hanging the lights very low so the plants didnt strech a lot and started to flower even sooner. This are the things you learn along the way. Next time imma hang them higher to keep them a little bit more in veg as they will strech more. However the canopy is pretty even now and I'm sure the quality of the buds will be great!

DAY 35: Ding decent!
She is getting bigger everyday! Still an excess of nitrogen, dont know what I can do more I stopped the feeding and gave pure water. I hope it gets better soon!
The training is doing great, the plant is kept low with lots of buds in full light. I tink I gave this girl a lot of stress during the last days.
Started to add the "Bloom Booster" from RQS. Not puch tho cuz she is under a lot of stress.
DAY 42: Coming along nicely!
So she grew huge this week. You can really see the bud sites growing everyday. If I compare this with my previous grow the difference is enormous. Got to give probs to RQS, real good genetics.
Also the 2 new bud sites who came after the topping became the 2 biggest of em all. Really happy!
Still there is that nitrogen problem. I didnt feed her nutes for 5 days but it didnt change. Now i started to give her the Bloom Booster from RQS which should not contain nitrogin. I think the Easy Grow nutes from RQS (see week one) are the problem. Maybe I put too much in the ground.
I will keep giving pure water for the coming week.

DAY 49: Doing great I guess!
So the tops are forming great! Lots and lots of frost, much more than my previous grow. Still trying to fix the nitrogin problem. I gave em a quick flush and the water came out yellow from all the nutes in there. I guess I put to much (see week 1). I didnt want to give her a full flush because that will happen anyway at the end of week 8.
An other problem is the slight burn on the leaves. I think it is from the light? Someone let me know!
The plant itself is really huge with big buds incoming. Will be a good yield.

So I know I have an excess of nitrogin and that because I put to much nutes in the pre prepared soil. However, before the tips start burning, also on the leaves itself some burnt spots appeared. Could it be light burn? Thanks!
Hi @beer420! To me it looks like the result of a serious Nitrogen toxicity My theory is that a wrong pH range for the whole grow (and probably a wrong watering routine) have created some sort of salt buildups and/or Nitrogen toxicity due to the use of EasyGrow, and the roots can't handle anymore. This is confirmed by your leave's coloration, this dark greeen is a bad sign, especially when it's glossy like that, your plant had too much Nitrogen for the last weeks. In this situation I would remove the most affected leaves, heavily flush the medium with plain pH'd water (~6.2), put a tiny fan blowing onto the container to help it dry quickly and avoid an overwatering scenario, then see how it goes after a few days. If things are looking good, consider giving some P+K booster for the last weeks before the final flush. Now about the watering routine, make sure you follow a wet/dry cycle with quick rotations, I.E one day wet with nutrients, one day dry, one day wet with plain pH'd water, etc...And always water with ~15-20% of your container's volume, unless you want a serious drain (in order to flush). DAY 56: Looking frosty!
So I asked a mate with a great camera and look at those pictures!
I flushed her on day 53 to get of rid of all the nutes. I used a bit more than 20 liters wich should be more than enough. The reason I waited so long is because she will be harvested in 2 weeks and I didnt want her to run out before that. However, I think I again made the mistake waiting too long because I dont think she will last another two weeks. We will see that next week.
There is probably still al lot of nitrogin in the plant so the leaves will keep on getting burnt for a while. I hope it stops soon.
It really sucks I made the mistake putting too much nutes in my soil and I also think it will affect my yield. The quality great however!

DAY 63: Look at those fall colours!
So she is finishing off well! We see some beautifull colours and she is almost ready for harvest. I dont think there will be another flower week update!
The only thing I hope is that she uses up the nutes. I want to harvest pretty early for the full potency but I dont want an harsh smoke either, we will see what the leaves say the next few days.

So what a journey. I really wanted to prove myself this time and man I think I did. The quality of the buds is really good, lots of frost. They have a good size and are pretty dense. I really want to thank RQS for the seeds to! Will be growing there Bubble Kush soon, but my next grow will be the AK's from Spliffseeds!

unlucky you didnt get the 70g you wanted but I think it is quite hard without hydro/aeroponic setup and your lighting (except you go with photostrains and give them long veg) but with autos I dont know about 70g..

(I dont do with Autoflowers but I read a bit about it, I think I would go with a setup of 6 plants in 7L pots for 1m² and not do anything with them, depending on your aims a change of approach might be a good idea, I dont know)

I see no burnt Tips ( with my Googles). I dont think the Plant is suffering by anything or got anything to much.I cant really see hanging Tips, well a little bit.Are The Tips Hanging all the Time=? or only inbetween the Waterings? In my Opinion its just a lack of water. Give her a liitle bit more, only a little bit and look how she does whats your feeling=? does she got enough Water=?. My Question is very unlikely to a first grow normally there is always to much of all......... You can write in the Comments or directly to me what you think and we can talk about it.
@beer420, Nah its defenately no lack of nutes,
and yes 1 liter in one week sound very good for that stage. You know how to write PM=? its easier. Look down at the screen in the right corner is a paperplane click on it and a private section opens
@Mrs_Larimar, water should be fine i think, i gave 1l in 7 days. Dont really know what it could be besides lack of nutes. Will see if it get worse. Any idea about the purple stems?
