As I am still a bloody beginner at growing, I am happy to receive any advice and suggestions.
As the title reveals, I am growing the Epsilon F1 seeds from RQS.
I used the RSQ Autoflowering Starter Kit here. Originally this kit contains White Widow Automatic seeds, but I will plant these another time.
27.02.2024 I put the seeds in the propagator as described in the starter kit.
02.03.2024 Only one of the two seeds has germinated, perhaps the second will germinate a little later.
04.03.2024 Unfortunately, the second seed did not germinate after all. It's time to plant the germinated seed in its pot.
04.03.2024 Today the lady was planted in her final pot, which has 8 liters. I fertilized the soil with a mycorrhiza solution (1/4 teaspoon per liter of water). I have set the lamp to 40% power at a height of 30 cm.
05.03.2024 I have increased the lighting time from 18 hours to 20 hours.
06.03.2024 She has good growth. I think I will give the first fertilizer with the next watering probably in 3-4 days. I put a yellow sticker (Gelbsticker) on the edge of the pot because of possible insects.
09.03.2024 End of the first week in the vegetative phase. Today the lady got her first fertilizer with 250ml of water (1/8 of a tablet of "Easy Grow Booster" from RQS mixed in 0.5 liters of water). The humidity has leveled off from 75% at the beginning of the week to 60% at the end of the week. In my opinion, a successful first week.
10.03.2024 Start of the second week. I'm already excited about the growth.
12.03.2024 The growth looks very good. With my finger I tested how wet the soil still is. Up to my first finger link (2-3cm) it was dry. I have poured 250ml of fertilized water that is mixed as follows — 1/8 of a tablet of "Easy Grow Booster" from RQS mixed in 0.5 liters of water.
13.03.2024 The growth is great 😁 Today I set my Q1W to 60% of the power.
15.03.2024 I have poured 300ml of fertilized water that is mixed as follows — 1/4 of a tablet of "Easy Grow Booster" from RQS mixed in 1 liter of water.
16.03.2024 End of the second vegetative week. Growth is progressing very well. The humidity has stabilized between 55-60%. The lady is now about 10cm tall.
17.03.2024 Start of the third week. Everything looks great so far. 💪
18.03.2024 I have poured 300ml of fertilized water that is mixed as follows — 1/4 of a tablet of "Easy Grow Booster" from RQS mixed in 1 liter of water.
19.03.2024 I added a little more soil to the pot.
20.03.2024 Today I applied some LST, let's see how she responds to it.
21.03.2024 Today I removed four large leaves that were taking too much light Looking good so far 😊
22.03.2024 Unfortunately, I was a bit too rough during LST training today and snapped two branches 😰😰 I pressed the snapped branches back onto the stem, let's see if the two branches grow back on😓. I also added 300 ml of fertilized water.
23.03.2024 End of the third vegetative week😁. The humidity is still at 55-60% and the lady has reached a height of 16 cm by the end of the week. The week was quite successful except for my mishap with the two broken branches😓, I hope she can recover in the next week.
24.03.2024 Start of the 4th week, it looks like the lady is slowly reaching the flowering phase 🙌. Fortunately, the broken branches have grown back, but you can still see that growth has stopped for 2 to 3 days. 😓
25.03.2024 I added 300 ml of fertilized water and removed 3 large leaves.
26.03.2024 Today she got the first 300 ml of fertilizer for flowering, which was mixed as follows: 1/8 of the tablet "Bloom Booster" to 1 liter of water. I have set my SANlight Q1W to 80% of the power. 😎
28.03.2024 I will have carefully done "LST" to ensure that the plant gets even light she also got another 300ml of water with fertilizer.
30.03.2024 End of the first flowering week😁. The lady has now reached a size of 30cm, the growth is crazy. Temperature and humidity were the same as last week. This week you could notice a slight smell 😅.
