I'm doing this old school & hoping for as many female sprouts as possible.
Germinating inside using paper towel, distilled water, recycled jewel case from a m.2 ssd and placed under an unregulated heat pad. I will take them outdoors once last frost takes place.
Aiming for a 💯 natural grow so window seals for seedling and rainwater once in potting mix. (Update: avoiding window seals due to rain, don't want them stretching too much while incubating indoors before last frost.
If/when males are found I'll germinate another to replace them.
Not sure if they're autos/feminized or not but I'm going in assuming they're at least autos because there's settle hints such as "Sun Grown" & "Fed with Rainwater" on the packaging of flowers they were found in.
So no LST or HST with these. Just gonna let them just do their thing. It's either gonna be a quick turnaround or a long haul with these. I'm betting on the former but welcome the latter!
Update 3/6/24:
3 sprouts so far... gonna tuck them back in and check up on them in the morning.
Update 3/7/24:
Now have four sprouts.
Update 3/8/24:
5 now sprouted and in soil. 2 left, will they germinate?
2 now have popped soil!
Update 3/9/24:
5 of 7 planted and popped soil. The other 2 I'll give another 24hrs before pitching them. Thinking they're duds.
@Hattiwatti, best part, this was a basic grow. No real training other than a light HST before flower to strengthen them up a bit. 3 Gal pot, a little defoilation and homebrew tea. No need for expensive ferts or extra medium.
They ain't got the biggest of flowers, but they smell potent AF, dense and sparkle like the stars on a dark frosty night in BFE!
A big contrast to what I'm about to flower with the Watermelon Zkittlez. Got a helluva concoction that's got more parts than a Teenager's Long Island Ice Tea on a Skinny Dipping Tuesday!
Goes to prove, it's all about attentive care, sometimes less is more and more is less... #LawOfMinimum
@Hattiwatti, Thanks bro!
Yeah they're doing surprisingly good for a basic "experimental" grow.
Keeping it cost effective and trialing out 3 gallon fabric pots for the flowering cycle while utilizing my last crops as fuel for this grow.
I'm saving 10 Gallons of overall medium this cycle.
If I can NET 90% of my last cycles weight... and still get great buds.... this might be my default go to method.
Still have 7 seeds left. All found in a MI grown dispensary bag bought for . Seems they may have originated from Humboldt Seed Company? If so, what a score that buy ended up being!
Every transplant I was careful in guiding roots to prevent them from choking out. Still got around a month to go supposedly we'll see how well it goes.
