Reusing the substrate from Strawberry Gorilla, removed ten cm of old substrate and replaced with freshly prepared living soil mix.
Popped seed into a lukewarm glass of water, 36 hours later and the shell hadn’t show any signs of cracking so I planted in substrate. Noticed her root growing from the substrate upside down so had to dig her up and turn her the right way round. She emerged a day later on 7/3/24.
Given first compost tea feed on Wednesday. Plain water all following feedings.
She is looking quite wrinkled in comparison to 24 carat which popped the same time.
Pushing her over and burying her stem as she grows.
Compost tea continues each Wednesday. Plain water all following feedings.
Growing nicely with no concerns from me.
Fed compost tea on Wednesday, this was given prior to Bio Pk being added as she isn’t in flower yet. Plain water all following feedings.
As she grows I am continuing to train her around the circumference of the pot keeping the main growing stem roughly canopy height.
She appears to be doing well, I don’t have any concerns currently. Will add BioTabs at the first sign of pre flowers so could be anytime in the next few weeks.
Fed compost tea on Wednesday without the addition of Bio Pk as she isn’t in flower yet.
Training continues using the edge of the fabric pot to put soft ties through and tie the main growing stem around the circumference of the pot.
She seems to in good health, no concerns currently.
Fed compost tea without addded Bio Pk on Wednesday. Plain water all following feedings.
Continuing to train her around pot and removing older fan leaves.
No issues
Update 14/4/24: added two BioTabs either side of main stem as first pre flowers spotted.
Added two BioTabs as she has started to flower.
Her foliage looks slightly dark, I’m thinking some ph issues perhaps. Will keep an eye on it but it should settle once the tabs activate.
Otherwise seems to be growing pretty well,
It was brought to my attention that she was stressed due to lights being too close so I have moved them higher and she seems to be happier.
Fed compost tea with added Bio Pk on Wednesday, plain water all following feedings.
Did some light defoliation this week. Just removed some older fan leaves.
Fed compost tea on Thursday with added Bio Pk. Plain water all other feedings.
Plants look stressed, iam going for lots of nutrients and lots of lights, they are nearly crawling on the surface.
they will look instantly better if you dimm back the light
greetings
@AumShanti, thank you kindly 🙏 I struggle to take decent picture once I’ve trained her as it looks a mess, but if you check my harvested Stilton Special diary you will see more clearly the framework that I try and achieve :D
@pifflestikkz, thank you kindly growmie 🙏 I’ve read conflicting reports some people complaining that it stinks of dog shit lol. I’ve definitely read and seen enough good to know that it has to be tried at least once though ;D
I just seen you say you gonna defoilated them I think its better to just leave it coz maybe cause strees and your bud wont get any bigger I done this before best time for defoliation is week 1 in flower
