planterbanter this update is a few days late but she's doing alright and seems to be pretty healthy and happy. giving her a couple of more weeks until flipping the lights so she can stretch a bit more. I used a bit too much force to pull the branches outward for the lst and caused a two splits on the plant in the "elbow area" where the branch comes off the main stem. fingers crossed it repairs itself and remains strong.

planterbanter she has been growing nicely over the last week and is looking pretty healthy. shes staying pretty short and becoming quite bushy. I'll continue to lst by pulling branches outwards and will take a couple of clones before switching to 12/12 lighting in the next week or two

planterbanter She is doing well, especially for my first time growing photoperiods. things seem to be going very smoothly and I couldn't be happier. shes about an inch shorter than the CBD Blue Shark I also have going in the tent but her structure is great.
every few days I've been watering with nutrient solution at pH 6.3
I've been continuing lst to keep the canopy of the plant as even as possible and did some defoliation of fun leaves to open up the center of the plant.
This week I took a clone. first time attempting cloning and the clone seems to be doing ok. I have the clone in the tent with it's mother so I've had the leds on without the bloom switch (to reduce light intensity) so haven't been getting the full 200w draw. I plan on keeping the lights on 18/6 for another week until the clone is rooted and can be put outside.

planterbanter Apologies for missing week 9 from the diary. week 9 was the first week with lights flipped to 12/12. week 10 (on day 67) she started showing pistils. she had signs of minor nitrogen toxicity in week 9, I cut out the veg feed and gave her a light flush and it has settled down. As you can see from the photos, shes significantly shorter than the CBD Blue Shark (by almost 2 inches). Space in my small tent is limited but I think I flipped them to flower in just enough time so they hopefully shouldn't outgrow it.

planterbanter she's doing well, a little bit of stretch this week. I noticed a couple of lower leaves displaying some signs of possible p/k deficiency (or something else, photo is included), gave extra pk this week plus a dose of Epsom salts to prevent mag/sulfur deficiency.

planterbanter overall pretty happy and healthy. didn't really grow in height at all the last week. all it's energy is going into bud development. quite a few trichomes appearing which is great.

planterbanter Week 5 of flower saw her getting frostier and developing her bud sites. I have 2 plants in the tent and as you can see in the photos, I've maximised the floorspace pretty well. I can't wait for these buds to fatten up. there are a lot of fan leaves near the top which I've been avoiding removing but I may have to as I'm unsure whether my viparspectra 450w LED will provide enough penetration to get the lower buds to a decent size but I guess we'll just have to find out. let me know what you think ✌️

planterbanter This Mama Mia is doing well. Her buds are still developing but haven't started swelling yet. She's producing an interesting (skunky?) smell but the aroma isn't super strong just yet. Some of her lower fan leaves have continued to yellow and die and I've just been plucking them off as it happens - I'm not super concerned because it's getting near the end of flower now and I'll just let the plant take it's course. According to breeder info, she should be ready to harvest in just under 2 weeks time (wk 8 of flower) but I'll be keeping my eye on the trichs, I may let her go longer if need be.
yep she does but my other plant in the tent has it worse. I think it is more a nitrogen issue or natural fade than anything else but I'll continue to get cal mag into them over the next couple of weeks
