After 2 days in damp paper towel, the seeds were planted in Canna Terra Professionel soil, another 2 days later the seedlings saw the light of day.
LED's at 20%
Today there was a lot of defoliation and attempts were made to give the flower stems more space with LST. A little bit of lollipopping was done, a few small flowers had to go, but they were very few.
Canna Flores has been fertilized for a week now. In addition, the two ladies have been receiving Canna PK13/14 for 2 days.
LED's at 70%
There isn't much to do at the moment. Last week a plant showed a slight potassium deficiency, which I got under control very well with Canna PK13/14.
I'm currently having a temperature problem; since switching the LEDs to 90% output, I've had 32°C at the top of the plants. I'm afraid I need a stronger exhaust system.
I brought the high temperatures under control (the skylight in the grow room was open continuously). I now have ~28°C at the tips of the plants.
The buds get thicker and thicker and are really sticky, giving off a delicious citrus scent with a hint of orange.
You can tell that it's slowly coming to an end, as some of the leaves are slowly showing signs of autumn. I'm currently anticipating the harvest to be around 2 weeks away. I hope that the buds will grow a lot by then, although I could actually be happy now.
see you soon

It has been 75 days since germination. the harvest is coming. I have already removed brown leaves from the plant on the right, checked the trichomes and so I will harvest this plant this weekend.
I give the plant on the left another ~1 week until the harvest.
Sticky Orange XXL is a very easy strain to grow. very resistant and she was very hungry, I used a 125% fertilization schedule during flowering.
It handled the LST and supercropping well, remained very small (only about 45cm) but rewarded me with many large flowers.

The plant on the right were harvested today and hung up to dry in a cardboard box in the basement at ~55% humidity 20°C.
The complete plant with all stems/branches has a wet weight of 610g.
The plant on the left could now remain lonely and alone in the tent for another ~7 days.

Now it happened faster than expected. Today the last plant (left plant) was harvested. The fabric pot was also completely rooted, like the other plant.
The complete plant with all stems/branches has a wet weight of 692g.
Both plants together with all stems/branches bring a wet weight of 1302g.
