after a couple of weeks of rough weather and guesses about when to water/feed, today they all have suddenly varied their usual sprialing crown of lettuce-like foliage pattern of grown to forming a hardened stalk that im thinking will put forth a bud sometime this century.
@Lemonhazelover, i have to admit that beyond the available literature, what i know about cultivating this plant is being taught to me directly by the plant itself in real-time so it's all "wait and see", keep the weeds out of the bed, keep an eye out for pests (currently they are being assaulted by fire ants) and feed them until they tell me they've had enough..but yeah they are looking pretty healthy to me as well, for now, thanks for checking out this grow!
