Started the germination last Sunday. Using the AeroGarden to get the plant to thrive. In 3-4 weeks will clone up to 5 more plants have them thrive until I transfer into coco and the tent. Plan will be to have 6 plants from one seed. I got the seed for free so let’s see how it goes.

Guys I have a question about ppm. So only my last grow I always used ro water. My ppm was only as high as 500-600. Now does this mean as the plant gets bigger I have use non-ro water later on in order to get it up?? As long as my ph is good and nutrients are not too high why not?

PPM is the measurement of impurity's in your water , So for example with R.O its very low in comparison to tap water the idea behind it is that the less junk that in your water the more nutrients a plant can uptake instead . So for example if your R.O is 600 PPM that means there's pretty much only what you put in the water ( in the way of nutrients ) But say for example its really high like 1000 not only is this going to cause problems for you plants because theres too much stuff in the water but as a result the plant will have a hard time absorbing the nutrients it needs because of the mass of other bullshit in the water . Lower the PPM the better . So if you can get your PPM to its appropriate levels for the plants age and development plus have the PH on point you will be styling and profiling my friend ! Hope this helps -Happy Growing!

I dont think its septoria because the spots arent turning black how ever . How ever it does look alot like rust which will eventually break open and spread spores around from the wind . If this is the case you would want to cut off any infected and affected leaves . Its important to keep the humidity down and the heat up by a little bit until you can further determine the problem 100% . It also looks like a possibility over feeding which will your leaves droopy and if the nutrients are to strong it will also cause burn . My advice to combat that is to make your nutrients 1/4 strength and increase as you see fit . It is also important have your PH set proper according to what your medium is . According to your diary your in soiless mix so your PH ranges should be 6.3-6.5 . This will prevent nutrient locks out and allow your plant to absorb all the nutes it can from the medium . I would also suggest that when you do feed with nutrients its every second of third watering. This will prevent your root one from getting to "hot" and allow for you plant to utilise what is in your medium to its full potential . When we talk about root zones being hot it means that there is to much nutrients in the soil and its burning the roots leading to what you see on the top of the plant in short as nutrient burns . I would also reduce the amount of water your feeding it based on your diary's stats your feeding them 1 gallon of water every 24 hours that't quite a bit for a young seedling you will eventually run into water logged roots and really droopy leafs if it stays like that to long you will get septoria which a whole level of problem. Remember that less is more when they are younger . As they get older you can increase the amount of water you give them but for now I think its too much . All in all your in good shape you just need to correct a few things and this little girl will be right back on track :D :D :D I hope this information is useful to you -Happy Growing!

Growing fast for sure starting to suck up the water at a high rate. Plant was topped to try to spread the leaves a bit, also did some simple defoliation. I will transfer this plant into a bubble bucket next week as I am afraid the resovior will be too small in the AeroGarden already having trouble removing the pod to clean the system. Update Monday, transferred to a bubble bucket now have my mehzi 600w on her will certainly start to stretch now I have no choice but to have 5 more weeks of veg due to work and vacation so it’s going to be interesting.

So it’s my first bubble bucket grow and I am finding the ph is rising so for the solution I have lowered it to 5.5 hopefully this will allow less frequent visits to the tent. I Have to fly to China tonight for 2 weeks left my son in charge. When I return I Weil be cloning 4 plants and place them in the AeroGarden. Then once cloned I will Vegfor 2 more weeks and have one big plant and 4 smaller plants.

Left my son in charge came home the plant was nearly dead no water left in the bucket had to remove all the dead leaves off the plant and try to recover. It’s a disaster. Top tip don’t leave your plant in anyone else’s care.....

After last weeks disaster surprisingly the plant is recovering. 2 more weeks of veg and I think we can flower it. Not going to have much chance of cloning due to the damage and stress it underwent but I did learn how much a plant can recover. The plant was totally dried out pretty hardy really.

After the disaster of 2 weeks ago I asked my friend to help recover the plant and it’s looking amazing considering it’s was basically nearly dead. I have placed my 2 week old Jack Herer next to them will flower them all together in 1-2 weeks then we will see if I can get a harvest. Really liking the dwc system it’s really low matainence and the time of year makes it much easier to control the grow tent temperature.

Use both switches/modes 👍 i do it too 😉 i learned that the only different is that more blue gives you less strecht and more leafs, more red gives you less leafs and more strecht. But that is only for the first 2-3 weeks, later its depends on the light power (par not Lumen!) As long as you use a full spectrum you dont need to really care about more red or blue. (But more red ist always better for bloom) so it only depends on the Power of your lamp 😁 if you have enough power (30-50watt 1 saquare feet) only use bloom, otherways use full power 👍

Now into my 1st transition photo period let’s see how she does. This plant remember was basically dead so a nice recovery it will grow really tall so let’s see if I can control it 10 weeks to go then. I also have my other Jack Herer in the tent as well hoping we can get some kind of harvest.

Was a flowering week where the buds are starting to swell and they are changing into some nice colours. The blueberry strain is really pretty. The smell is sweet and becoming stronger 1 more week with kool bloom liquid then kool bloom powder for 2 weeks then we can see what the trichromes look like. So far very happy. This is the 1st time I have used the kool bloom.

So I am entering my 1st dwc budding process. With the coco I could water every day. But with the bucket I am struggling to understand how much water/nutes and feeding and changing the solution. At the moment 3 ltrs and leave this for a week?? This ok? Watching the ph.

With a little tanks like these you will need to change your solution every weeks I guess , and check it almost daily as the plant will eat a lot of nutrients and it will makes EC/PPM & PH fluctuate so you will need to check these 2 values ( I would have done it daily ) . I know that some people have an extra bucket to easily change the water they just take off the lid and put it on the extra bucket and repeat with every buckets but it require to have an extra bucket so If yours aren't DIY it could not be that cheap. 😊✌️🏼

1st time I have moved to tap water to raise the ppm. Mixed ro and tap. Also added and started today with Kool Bloom powder I am hoping the nugs will get much fatter. Plant is getting stronger in smell I am thinking 2 weeks of feed 1 week flush to finalize it out. Let’s see how it goes.

The buds have swelled and are looking close to completion. I did examine the trichromes (always so tricky). And observed some cloudy buds. Ready to give her one more week , 2/3 feeding and 1/3 flushing. Will also add some molasses on the flush as well to try to sweeten her up a bit. Getting close and will be keen to see how she will yield.

This strain was my most successful so far. 1st feminized plant and 1st dwc. It worked well in the winter as I could control the temperature is better inside the tent I don’t think I could be a successful with a DWC system in the summer I would have too much of a fear of roots going mouldy. In this particular grow this Plant was almost dead because my son did not water the plant it is incredible and educational that a plant like this can recover from almost death and in the end deliver such a good yield maybe it was another form of super cropping lol. Anyway I will report on the smoking condition once the buds have dried and I can place a final weight and final yield. My next dwc might be my super silver haze but I better get moving or it will be too hot to do. Thanks for following the grow and I will post another harvest update next week. Update: after the drying phase I managed to squeeze 106 grams out of one plant. Very pleased with the results. Because this is my 1st photo period and 1st hydraponics dwc grow I will enter this diary into the newbie for March. Thanks again for all the help and on to the next grow.
