After soaking both seeds in water for 24 hours and then planting them in the soil, it took approximately three days for the two seedlings to sprout. As you can see in the photos, Gold Glue plant 2 has warped leaves which is indicative of bad PH. My intuition is telling me that the PH is not the issue and it may just be a weirdo plant because Gold Glue plant 1 is being given the same water without any issues.
Another smooth week in the books! It's day 14 and I'm still feeding these ladies nothing but Mammoth P microbes and tap water PHd to 6.6-6.8. I'm planning on feeding them nutrients during their next watering; day 15.
Another successful week down. Last week I noticed four fungus gnats flying about so I immediately drenched both ladies with an organic pesticide mixed with water, which effectively eradicated the issue. https://bah.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/BAH_Jobsw on day twenty I decided to top both ladies right above the sixth node to prepare them for their scrog net. I'll be placing the net above both plants just before the begin their stretch.
Both plants experienced a lot of growth this week and they also began transitioning into flower. Aside from upping the plants nutrients I began my LST regiment and both plants a positive response.
Another great week of progression for these two ladies. I've added a bloom booster into their nutrient regiment this week now that they are well into flower. I'm surprised how quickly new leaf sites have developed since last week's defoliation. I'll plan on doin one last defoliation run around day 40ish.
Thanks for stoping by,
Growers love!
I started the week with a very light defoliation and ended the week with a heavy defoliation to expose shaded bud sites to light. aside from Gold GLue being a very bushy autoflower, this has been a super mellow and chill grow. I am really impressed with how closely the buds are stacking and how frosty they are becoming.
I am really enjoying this grow. Knock on wood - I haven't had any major problems with these ladies. They are short, but man-o-man are the stout! the buds have stacked and set in nicely and the trichome development is nuts.
Another smooth week! Both ladies seem to have at least twenty-one days left to pack on weight and mature. This week I ran out of Greenleaf's Sweet Candy and CalMag and there was no way they would get to me in time if I ordered online so I went to the local grow store. The grow store didn't carry any of Greenleaf Nutrients' products so I picked up General Organic's CaMag+ and Advanced Nutrient's Bud Candy; and so far so good.
One more successful week down in the books. I think I'm going to let these two ladies go for an additional two weeks before chopping them down around day seventy. I'm stoked for the smoke test. Grow has been, hands-down, the smoothest and easiest grow to date. As you can see in the pictures, these buds are FROSTY!
Check out the M'FN picks from day 70 of both of the ladies and they have been flushing for about a week. To some it may not be much, but I am extremely excited and proud of these plants being that I've only been doing this for 9 months. From what I can tell the trichomes are pretty much 100% cloudy, so I plan on making the big chop around day 75.
This was the last week of flush and the last week of life for my two Gold Glues. I am more than impressed with the final out come and appearing quality of the buds. being that these finished around day 77, I'll be more than willing to grow these again. Although they are two short plants I am hoping that their dense nugs yield 8 ounces or better.
This was an extraordinarily easy grow for me and I wasn't confronted by any major issues. Although this bud has not yet been cured I still rolled two joints for taste tests. After trying this bud out I definitely would consider it to be a evening smoke.
I am actually happily surprised with the final results from this harvest. Considering how short the plants were I was more than happy to harvest 6.85 ounces of good bud! All in all it took 77 days to grow from sprout, 8 days to hang, and I intend on curing for at least 2 weeks.
