3/19/24 I was feeling in a fruity mood so I decided to pop 3 orange and 3 purple kush. This will be Oranges diary. The specs were good, price was right, so why not lol. Looking forward to seeing how they turn out! 3/20/24 Just made sure they had water and didn't even look yet. Maybe tomorrow. I'm not really sure what type of medium to grow this in. My options are dwc, soil, or aeroponics, if I can finish building it in time. I would welcome any suggestions on which to use or which combo. I'm going to start in earnest this weekend on building it and my feed timer. I'm going to be vegging in a 10' x 11' room and flowering in another 10' x 11' room. This will be the first time using both rooms, with the appropriate lighting, more blue for veg, red for flower, and fresh, good seeds. I'm really excited about this. Oh, for soil, I have 1 empty 15 gal bag, 2 7 gallon bags, 6 5 gallon bags and 7 or 8 2.5 gallon plastic pots so which media, and which size if soil? 3/21/24 Well, they've all popped, but the tap roots weren't very long so I'm gonna let them go another night then put them in rapid rooters tomorrow. 3/22/23 They are all in the rooters, and in the few hours they have came out of the rapid rooters already. These are great seeds! I'm so excited to see how they turn out! 3/23/24 They are moving a bit slower than the crit purples, but move they will! I had to take the helmet head off 2 of them but they'll do just fine. 3/24/24 Today they got put into their first containers today. I've got them in a Dixie cup inside of it regular sized cup that fits perfect with no leakage. So pretty easy going from here on out lol. It did take some time to do seven transplants though. I guess tomorrow will start the day one since all of them have been rooted out of the rooter.

Day 1, 3/24/24 They seem to be handling the transplants well. I buried them as deep as I thought I could. A couple had stretched moderately so I tried to level them out. Day 2, 3/25/24 They've wicked up the water that was in the cup but the substrate is still moist so I'm gonna let them sit. Day 3, 3/26/24 I checked them and they're still pretty moist so I'm not gonna do anything. Rechecked the PPFD and it's good. Day 4, 3/27/24 Today I worked on my veg room for awhile. I installed a window ac for the upcoming summer. I'm gonna be putting several DWC buckets in there. On 2 of my plants that aren't journaled, I have 2 Green Crack Autos and I ran 1 in DWC and 1 in a 15 gallon fabric pot, and the fabric pot has blown away the dwc, and I'd like to expand on that experiment because it should be the DWC winning by a lot. I digress. They are doing well, and I've been checking 4 times a day for root growth from the bottom of the cup so I can transplant before it gets root bound Day 5, 3/28/24 Today I just checked the water levels and noticed they were a little low so I added some water to them and readjusted the light to be lower on less power and got the correct PPFD range for them. They're going very nicely! Day 6, 3/29/24 Today all of the critical oranges got transplanted. They went into 7 gallon fabric pots with soil I made by hand. I think they're going to do really good. They looked really healthy, the roots weren't root bound yet, and I think it did really well. I also put mycorrhiza around it. Day 7, 3/30/24 Today I just made sure everything was at the right numbers. I watered yesterday so they are good for today.

Day 8, 3/31/24 Today I didn't do much in the room. I mainly let them do their thing. I'm going to try to start a time lapse in the morning and hopefully I can get a full 18 hours in. Day 9, 4/1/24 Today I just made sure the substrate was moist and the PPFD was good. Also added labels to each bucket so I can get rid of those cups and added some gnat traps. Day 10, 4/2/24 I moved the lights around today to optimize space and make it to where I can get to the plant I have in DWC easier. Day 11, 4/3/24 I didn't really do much other than basic maintenance today. I've had silica for the next feeding sitting in water for 2 days now so hopefully it doesn't mess with the cal mag when I mix it now. They will be getting their only dose of silica. I like how it stiffens them up some and make some more sturdy. Anything more than that's overkill though. Day 12, 4/4/24 Today they got watered with silica for the first time. I'll let it sit for 2 days so mixing in the cow mag was no issue. This will probably be the only time they get fed silica but I like to do it once. The nutrients ph'ed at 6.53, and the ppm was 547. They should take all of this pretty well. Day 13, 4/5/24 Today I mainly just watched them to make sure they didn't have any diverse effects from the silica but they seem to have taken it nicely. Day 14, 4/6/24 Wow they have exploded with growth! They loved their nutrients!

Day 15, 4/7/24 Today I watered them with 530ish ppm water ph'ed at 6.5. they seem to have shot up since the last feeding so I'm curious how this goes. Day 16, 4/8/24 Today I just checked them out and made sure the ppfd was close. They're jumping up! Day 17, 4/9/24 Today I took two of my seedlings and put them in DWC so I didn't really have a lot of time to do much other than take a quick video of them and the pictures and check their PPFD. I had about half a gallon of 530ish ppm, 6.4 ph nutrient RO so I fed them that. They are really growing! They are in week 3, so I need to top a couple of them tomorrow. Day 18, 4/10/24 I didn't top them today. They were still pretty small. The rotation right before this one didn't get topped until a month in so seeming to be par for the course. Day 19, 4/11/24 Today I made sure all the numbers were right and let them veg! I had to move the light around a little bit due to one of my autos being over 5 ft tall but other than that all is well. Day 20, 4/12/24 Today I took some leaves off of it because some of them were just too much and not getting any light at the base. Other than that they're doing great! Day 21, 4/13/24 Today I moved them around a little. I like to turn them a quarter turn every few days just to keep them on their toes lol. They are doing great, and we start week 4 tomorrow!

Day 22, 4/14/24 Today I slightly rotated the pots, got to keep them ladies on their toes you know, then I checked the pH of the soil and the moisture levels. I'm going to be good for another day are two before I have to water again. They're starting to get pretty tall and thicken up nicely. Their leaves are really exploding, I love seeing this part of the grow! Day 23, 4/15/24 I've been working on my nat issue. It's not huge, but if I let it get out of hand for just one day it will, and I'm tired of these stupid yellow sticky things so I'm adding a couple of inches of sand after taking off a couple of inches of topsoil or at least as far down as I can go before I hit roots. I'll be finishing this up tomorrow. Day 24, 4/16/24 Today I was gonna spend the morning in my flower room rearranging my plants so I could lose one of my 4 240 w HLG lights. Those are the meanest lights I've ever seen. When you're training and have them raised to the ceiling and it still puts off enough light intensity to make you actually feel it pushing you, those are intense...smh..but to have that much intensity, there's a lot of power used, and some moderate heat made. But after I got started training I kept seeing something in the corner of my eyes, and after finding out its gnats moving around in my soil making it look lime it was moving. I immediately stopped training, went and got 2 50 lb bags of sand and started the process of sucking out the top soil, watering and letting it dry some, and replacing it with sand. Sand should take them out almost completely! I got my flower room done, and couple in the veg room, but it's enough to last most of the day tomorrow doing it. Day 25, 4/17/24 I talked number three today. I cut the first note off leaving just a second and third node taking 4 and 5 and attempting a clone. The sand is working great! Day 26, 4/18/24 The sands worked amazing! The gnats are completely gone and all of my rooms, and no more yellow tacky sticky traps! If you move the sand out of the way mostly nutrients go right through it to where they need to go and the PVC pipes with holes in the bottom are working amazing for bottom feeding. Day 27, 4/19/24 Today I trained my other topped plant down but this one hasn't grown nodes long enough to justify tying it down. But they're all looking amazing! Day 28, 4/20/24 Today, since it's a holiday, all I'm doing is checking to see if they need watering and if the lights need adjusting and I'm partying it up! Have a good day guys be safe!

Days 29 - 33 comments got erased And I thought I had a screenshot of them but I did not. I apologize and will continue from this point on. Day 34, 4/26/24 Today I did some light training on them and just checked on growth in general and they are really going strong. #2 is thickening up on both of the nodes from being topped and is actually getting kind of tough to tie down it's so strong. Day 35, 4/27/24 Had to be out of town today so I missed any pictures but I had someone check on them and they said they were doing well. Get ready to start the next week!

Day 36, 4/28/24 They have just grown exponentially. These things are going so fast that if I let them go much longer, when they hit the stretch, they're going to be huge. I'm going to have to think about building a scrog net lol The two that I did not top are going to be tall if they keep growing at this rate Day 37, 4/29/24 They are doing really well. They have doubled in stem thickness almost and number one and number three are growing tall. When I topped #2, I forgot to cut the first node off, and now instead of having a N, S, E, and W branch, I know have 2 N and S branches 🤦
