Plant is growing super fast. I didn't start giving her nutrient until next week which was a mistake. I should've started earlier. These big leaves are going to suffer a phosphorus deficiency on week 3. (Sorry for the spoiler)
Lot of stuff happening this week. Transplanted her to her final pot. She had a phosphorus deficiency that killed the two larges fan leaves at the bottom. After realizing that FIM'ming wasn't gonna work I topped her and started main-lining the auxiliary branches. And so begin the great ascension
This is the week I started introducing nutrients but I should've done it earlier. Some leaves were affected and I probably lost some vegetative time. It's okay, it's a photo
This week has seen their ups and downs. I still struggled to find the sweet spot for a happy plant. One day her leaves were drooping and the next one they were praying to the light. All in all, if I had to do things differently, I would give her a bit more nutrient. I was way too conservative as I lost 4 plants to nitrogen toxicity in the past.
Last week of vegetative stage. I will be flipping next week and start the flowering stage. I'm looking at 9 mains colas and 4 smaller ones.
From now on, I'll do occasional defoliation as she is obviously an indica dominant strain (despite breeder saying it's a 50/50)
I was scared of her stretching too much and outgrowing my 6' height tent. This was a mistake and if I would do things differently, I would let her vege another 2 or even 3 weeks. She grew rather small in height
Buds are finally taking some weight. The leaves are turning a darkish purple. Pistils are turning brown. I bought a microscope camera and took some pictures of the trichomes on the Buds. Still a lot of crystal/cloudy ones but not much amber yet. Probably another 2 or 3 weeks to go.
