Unfortunately, one of the cereal milks had to be replaced because the clay combined with air caused the pH value to rise to 8 overnight. Now it has settled back down to 5.5-6. In general, I try to concentrate on root growth first to ensure the best start.
So after a complete water change and a new pH down, the plants can start properly. bio bizz is apparently not suitable for hydroponics due to the citric acid and bacteria form in the water. These problems have finally been resolved and the system is running stable.
The second week of growth has begun and the little ones have been doing wonderfully since the pH value has stabilized. Another purple queen has also joined.
Im allways greatful for some advice :)
After another exciting week, I see more and more potential in the individual strains. They form new knots every day, so I'll start with the topping tomorrow.
I was able to avoid the slight starting difficulties that I had with the first 4 plants with the Purple Queen #2, which means that it catches up well. I'm excited to see what happens next and I'm always open to getting help and advice.
Week 4 starts and I was able to regulate both the humidity and temperature to a certain extent. There's another water change tomorrow and the EC value will be increased further. They have responded very well to topping and LTS so far. The two weddings are a little slower in their growth and have to be constantly adapted to the nets. I think next week it will be time for the flowers to bloom, but ultimately I have to wait for them to react to the change in environment.
Over the past week I have gradually reduced the amount of light to create a relatively natural transition. I could already see on week 4 day 6 that the plants were starting to stretch. The plants now sleep from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The cool temperatures at night ensure that the tent doesn't get too warm. Over the course of the week there will be another water change in which the nutrients for the flower will be adjusted.
Dear people, I honestly don't know what to describe. They are growing splendidly and so far the EC value can be increased even further. The plants draw 2-4 liters of water every day and the EC value must be increased from 0.8 to 1.3 every 2-3 days. In general I'm quite satisfied.
A lot has happened with the ladies in the last week. They have fully stretched and are now forming the first buds. In order to make optimal use of the light, I removed most of the leaves that covered shoots. I have adjusted the nutrients and am now looking to increase them to increase the yield.
This week the little ones showed me what they can do. They stretched a lot more than I thought but that's a good thing. the nutrients have now been fully adapted to the flowering. I removed all the leaves and shoots that didn't get enough light. With the delicious aromas that the little ones exude, all you can do now is watch with satisfaction as they grow and thrive.
The fifth week of flowering begins and everything is growing and thriving.
Three days ago I took some leaves out of the plants to make room for the lower flowers, after 1-2 days all the damage had healed and it didn't seem to have stressed the plants. Now almost the entire 1.5mx1.5m tent is filled with flowers. Only the purple queen does not produce as much sugar as expected. I think the purple would prefer cooler temperatures. In the remaining 3 strains I probably caught phenotypes that like higher temperatures and they are just bursting with trichomes. For the next grow I definitely have to think more about the influence of temperatures on the strains and choose what goes into the tent at what time of year. All in all, I'm very happy with this week.
ps I'll be on the mary jane from June 14th to 16th and am still looking for somewhere to stay overnight
A new week begins and I am very happy to be able to harvest this month. I'm relatively happy with the maturation of the buds. But since all plants actually have a few red stems, I added calmag to provide the flowers with the optimal nutrients. Unfortunately, the Purple Queen doesn't produce as many trichomes as the rest, but the flowers are nice and thick. If anyone has an idea why, please post in the comments. On day 1/2 I will cut out the large fan leaves again because there was still a lot left to do.
This week I won't have much time to take care of the plants myself and my representative has to get there. the mary jane is coming soon and I need to prepare the new plants.
Hello everyone, Mary Jane is almost over and I'm happy to be back with my ladies. the Purple Queen and Wedding Crasher are now being rinsed and prepared for harvest. the other two are allowed to live 1-2 weeks longer.
