2nd Auto grow, 2 of the Epsilon look great for a week old. Unfortunately I made the mistake yesterday of removing the shell as we were in day 6 and no leaves were coming out. Ended up removing a cotyledon leaf in the process. I knew better...never had one where the shell as still on after 5 days. It'll recover but will be yet another runt in the auto run.
15 days from seed. The one that had the damaged cotyledon is actually a lot further along than I thought...thought about culling her but as we growers know, it pays to be patient. Expanded their watering circle, hoping to be watering to the edge of the pots by the end of the week.
21 days from seed. Surprised the damaged cotyledons on the smaller one didn't stunt her more. Will start bending the top stem as early as this week and hoping to start using the wicking bases to stop hand watering soon.
28 days from seed. Bent the top stem over on the 2 larger plants - still another inch to go on thr smaller one. Filled the AC Infinity wicking bases and and weaning off hand watering. Continuing light defoliation this Auto run...still hesitant to really do anything with them.
35 days from seed and started showing preflowers a few days ago. Doing better on my 2nd Auto run I think - while different animal compared to photos. Everyone's had their LST and very light defoliation (2-4 leaves each plant). Not worrying about CO2 this time and pretty much letting the ladies do their thing.
42 days from seed. Didn't feel like any training on these aside from some minimal LST in the early weeks. Pretty explosive growth in the past two weeks. Formation of budlets have really started over the past several days.
Well into flower now, and the stretch has been incredible. Didn't do hardly any training as I didn't want to stunt this round in any way being my 2nd Auto run...except for stunting 1 of these while a seedling. Keeping CO2 as high as I can, leaving DPI at 55 the rest of the grow.
Not a fan of "flushing" in the typical sense, I prefer weaning nutrient concentrations down And have been much happier with my product. First week of running with just a trace of Grow nutes, should start seeing some fade soon, didn't start early enough on the last auto - I'm on it this go around. Keeping CO2 and ppms stable for a few more weeks.
Day 70 from seed and almost time for the end. Starting my gradual flush this week, looking to harvest in the next 2 weeks. Been the easiest grow I've ever done, half strength nutes and kept coco moist, that was about it. More F1 runs in the future.
Close! Starting to ease off on all my nutes and get this grow wrapped up. We're at 77 days from seed, so a little long according to RQS but, you can't rush perfection! Smells like Blueberry Pound Cake in the tent.
84 days from seed to harvest - more than 3 weeks longer than RQS claimed. Doesn't matter much to me but if you're on a time crunch, may not be as fast of a grow as claimed. Smells of blueberry pound cake so I think it was totally worth it to wait regardless! Currently drying after removing most fan leaves
