deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, marijuana lovers! After a few weeks off from the last season, I’m starting this new journey with my marijuana stash full, lots of enthusiasm, and the hope of achieving the best harvest of my life. Very motivated and happy for the opportunity to grow this 90% Colombian old-school sativa crossed with an Afghan indica, it promises production and potency... let’s play! This season I have several plants that share lineage; in the case of this strain, it shares genes with another one of my crops "Colombian Gold," another sativa from the Sierra de Santa Marta. Two days after putting the seed in a damp napkin, it germinated; now it spends its first days of life under the filtered light of a window. In a couple of days, I’ll start using electric lights for all the plants; this season I’m going all out with the lights. I’ve set up two blue COBS at 450nm to modify the shape of the plant from the start and make it as short as possible. UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, marijuana lovers! The Colombian seedling is progressing, during the day it's by a window and at night under the blue light (450nm) of a 50w COB with a lens. deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! The Colombian seedling is starting to show its first true leaves, it looks happy, living during the day under the fantastic spring sun, and at night, underneath a blue COB (50w) at 450nm and a side LED panel (33w) at 6500K to give presence in the light spectrum to colors like green or yellow. I let the seedlings sleep for at least 2 hours daily; I believe every living organism needs to rest. I moisten the substrate with pure mountain water, and this week, as soon as the first true leaves are formed, I will gently start feeding the plant, applying both through the substrate and foliar. I’ve added a small fan to my homemade grow cabinet to move the seedlings and thus strengthen the stem; when the stems start to become woody, it will be time for transplanting, no rush. UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! The little Colombian strain is getting stronger day by day. I intended to transplant it into its final pot today, but I couldn't; I'll do it this week. Finally, this afternoon I found a gap and was able to transplant it into the final pot, an Old School 11L with homemade lateral aeration. I complete the transplant in two phases. In this first phase, I soak the small pot with plenty of water, which allows me to easily remove the soil. Once buried in the new substrate, I wait 24 hours before watering, as the soaked root ball will expand the moisture to the surrounding dry substrate. The second part consists of controlled surface watering. Even though I was happy with the root development of all the plants from last season, I've noticed that there weren't as many roots at the top of the substrate as I expected. The truth is that I promoted moisture at the base from the very beginning, which didn't favor the development of adventitious roots on the surface. I'm going to try to correct this since root development at the base is always guaranteed. Once I've done the first watering, I'll cover the substrate with a mulch rescued from previous crops and a special mix to accelerate the development of microbiology and the decomposition of organic matter. I'll talk about the watering mix and mulch next week. The seedling hasn't stretched a single centimeter; on the contrary, it grows very compact while the leaves expand and the stem fattens. The effects of the intense blue light are starting to show in all the crops, now gathered in my main grow tent and surrounded by intense multicolored lights! Now all the seedlings of the season are in the main grow tent, surrounded by blue lights (450nm) and a 7700K LED panel and two FS COBs to provide other light spectrums. I'm looking for maximum compactness and branching. I've cleaned and disinfected the grow tent, organized some cables and lamps, and finally closed the tent for a few hours with an ozone generator at maximum power. UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground cannabis enthusiasts! It's been a week since I transplanted, and the Colombian seedling is growing and strengthening. The leaves are spreading out significantly to protect themselves from the intense blue light dominating the grow tent, while the plant is growing very compact with internodes separated by just a few millimeters. Now that the plant is still small, I take the opportunity to put it out in the sun for a few hours; the fantastic solar spectrum provides extra energy that no artificial light can give. Any day this week, I will make an apical cut above the third true node. A day after the transplant, I completed the second phase of the process by adding a thin layer of a Bio mix of substrate with Solid Mountain Microorganisms, Rice Charcoal, pre-cooked living substrate, and algae and alfalfa powder. I finally cover this mix with Reused Mulch from previous crops and moisten everything. In the first few days, I kept moisture only on the top of the substrate, and I have been daily moistening the mulch with mountain water. I intend to accelerate the spread of aerobic microbiology and encourage the expansion of adventitious roots in the upper part of the substrate, just below the mulch. Two days ago, I did a more abundant watering to let the moisture penetrate the substrate. The amount of this initial watering is moderate, half of what I have calculated for when the plant is at maximum performance because I don’t want to saturate the substrate with water now. It's important for me to take advantage of the aeration of the new substrate, which is not yet compacted by the waterings; the roots appreciate both the oxygen and the fluffy substrates where they can move easily. With this first deep watering, I begin feeding all the seedlings. The girls are growing and asking for more food, and I will happily cook for them with each watering! 😉 I started with a special mix of molasses with my Bio Fertilizer made from fresh coconut water with Efficient Microorganisms (EM, Minerals, vitamins, cytokinins, gibberellic acid, auxins....) The natural coconut water contains enough energy in the form of hormones, minerals, antioxidants, or vitamins to germinate a coconut seed and provide what it needs in the first weeks of life. I added a bit of another Bio Fertilizer rich in amino acids and nettle tea, and finally, I adjust the pH of the mixture with homemade Ormus from the Cantabrian Sea, which provides the presence of practically all the minerals from the periodic table. Here you can see the process I followed for creating Bio Coco EM: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/134104-grow-journal-by-defharo/week/791322 UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, clandestine marijuana enthusiasts! Six weeks into cultivation, the Colombian plant is progressing bizarrely, growing and establishing itself, while I enjoy every moment. A few days ago, I did the apical cut, the side branches are striving to stand out, while I hold them back with intense lights so they don't stretch. This week, I'll tie up the branches to start shaping. Second nutrient watering and first foliar application since transplanting, a nutritious and stimulating mix to keep this girl very happy and growing without brakes... let’s play! Yesterday, I reduced the light schedule by half an hour, now 21/3h. Each week, I’ll decrease the light time until I reach 18/6, and probably that will be the moment to switch the plants to flowering schedule 12/12h, approximately in 7-8 weeks. But if the plants gain a lot of volume, I’ll speed up the transition to flowering... let’s play! UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! Seven weeks of cultivation, the Colombian plant completely bent with ties on the branches, struggles to free itself from the hand of man, it’s a rebellious plant used to being in charge, I grow it without mercy! This week: Third deep watering with bio-stimulants, adding dry amendments to the soil: Feather meal and Mealfrass, and a foliar application at the beginning of the week with amino acids extracted from fresh blood... let’s play! Also, yesterday I reduced the light schedule by half an hour, now 20:30h / 3:30h, I will continue to gradually lower it each week until the moment of radical change to the flowering schedule 12/12h. deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! Nine weeks of growing for this badass Colombian sativa. The plant has shown growth and looks nice, but I expect much more from her, more leaf mass and more width. Water consumption is gradually increasing, this week a light watering, a foliar application, and I’ve added a mix of dry amendments to feed the substrate. Now with more space in the grow tent due to the departure of two of her companions to another grow cabinet and because of the light change that this switch has brought... mercilessly! deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground cannabis enthusiasts! Two weeks of growing for this badass Colombian sativa. First week since switching to flowering schedule, the plant has only stretched 3cm! I'm growing it in my main tent with a brilliant sky of apocalyptic lights! Currently, all the plants have become very wide and are somewhat constrained in width, but during flowering, the plants gradually shed useless leaves and the grows will become more spacious, improving light penetration in the middle and lower parts, there's a lot of play ahead!... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! Thirteen weeks of cultivation for this badass Colombian sativa. It's the third week since switching to the 12/12 flowering schedule, the plant has completed its stretch and now all the energy is going towards the numerous flower buds. Finally, the plant stands at 61cm tall, with strong branches and abundant foliage to do plenty of photosynthesis. This week, the plant has doubled its water consumption; I've done two deep waterings this week since the plant drinks up all the water in the pot every three days. The waterings during flowering are done with more complex mixes than in the vegetative stage, increasing the EC concentration. With the watering I did today, I removed all the ties from the branches; the plant now has its size and shape defined, now it's time to form flowers! At the same time, I've made changes to the lights in the grow tent. I removed 3 blue lamps (450nm) and replaced them with 3 others that have more yellow and red color spectrums. Additionally, I added two more lamps on the sides to encourage more photosynthesis in the still abundant foliage. And finally, this week I've increased the light by 15 minutes every 2 days until reaching 13 hours of light... more photosynthesis, more energy processed, more nutrient needs = more flowers! deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! Fifth week of flowering for this Colombian sativa. The plant is discreetly forming flowers and happily living in the grow tent, the leaf mass is holding steady and the metabolism is too, the plant is consuming everything and to prevent it from choking, yesterday I did a stimulating watering with low concentration so the plant can consume nutrients accumulated in the substrate, I will do another watering of this type and then we’ll enter the final stage of flowering. I still expect much more definition of the buds, for now, they are growing at a sativa pace, and I think they are going to explode at any moment... let’s play! UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! Eighth week of flowering for this Colombian sativa. The plant continues to be vigorous, the buds are looking very active and cheerful, the leaf mass is maintained, and the larger leaves are taking on beautiful colors. The buds have a particular shape; they are not pointy like in most of my other grows, but it doesn't matter because they are very dense, fragrant, and sticky. UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome homegrown, underground, and organic marijuana enthusiasts! After weeks of flowering, this Colombian sativa is asking me for peace, her moment is near, and she, satisfied, is going to give me everything. 😪 A few days ago, I reduced the light schedule to 11 hours in an attempt to speed up the senescence of the plants, as I need to harvest them all before September 4th. The plants' memory will remind them that the end is near, and the ripening of the buds is accelerating. 😈 UNTIL NEXT TIME... Happy Harvest Day!

deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, homegrown, underground, and organic cannabis enthusiasts! Today at dawn, after twelve weeks of flowering, 154 days of cultivation, and one last night outdoors, I have harvested this fearsome Colombian sativa. 😎 With the first light of day, and while the coolness of the night still embraced the plant, without mercy or compassion, I harvested the enormous and fragrant buds that this great plant generously gifted me. It also provided me with wonderful moments during the grow, and finally, the leaves turned autumn colors, and in peace, we said goodbye. Now the buds are drying in front of a fan; the high relative humidity of these days forces me to disperse any potential moisture accumulation and speed up the drying of the buds as much as possible. After a week of drying, I will put them in jars for curing and complete the smoke report. ============================= After two months of curing: This exceptional strain from Afghanistan and Colombia has been a robust and lively plant that proved to be a true "glutton" in cultivation. It responded wonderfully to intense light compaction, reaching a height of 65 cm and developing enormous and long buds that are a sight to behold. As I approach, I am enveloped by an explosion of tropical aromas. The sweet notes of mango and pineapple intertwine with the smoothness of vanilla and a subtle spicy hint of allspice. It's as if I'm transported to a market of exotic fruits under the Caribbean sun. This herb is delightful, and it will also enrich my mornings with a touch of inspiration and vitality.... I will repeat! UNTIL NEXT TIME... Good luck. Rock’n’Roll Randy said this Pablo Escobar strain was really good. I’ll be doing Auto Opium and either Fractal or Euphoria outdoors. Cheers.
