deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, marijuana lovers! After a few weeks of rest from the last season, I’m starting this new journey with my cannabis stash full, lots of enthusiasm, and the hope of achieving the best harvest of my life. New strain announced with extreme potency, great yield, and a name that brings back memories of hell... "Cielo o infierno, ¿qué importa?" Charles Baudelaire The seed germinated two days after placing it between damp paper towels and under the warmth of a blanket, and now it’s been 4 days in its little pot. The tiny seedling, curious, peeks into the world where it will grow; the light from a window is helping it stay active for now. In a couple of days, I’ll start using the electric lights and two new blue COBs at 450nm that will help shape and compact the plants to the max until they enter flowering. UNTIL NEXT TIME... REGARDS TO ALL! ================================ Info on the Opium strain from Divine Seeds: https://divineseeds.net/opium/ "Several Afghan indica varieties, recognized as the most potent and resinous, were crossed with a powerful Brazilian sativa..." Divine Seeds - Genetics: Afghanistan x Brazil - Sativa / Indica - Flowering Time - 63 days - Indoor Yield: 1000 g/m² - THC: 29% - Fruity and earthy aromas. ================================

deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! This forbidden seedling is starting to show its first true leaves; it looks happy, living during the day under the fantastic spring sun, and at night, beneath a blue COB (50w) at 450nm and a side LED panel (33w) at 6500K to provide light spectrum presence for colors like green or yellow. I let the seedlings sleep for at least 2 hours a day; I believe every living organism needs to rest. I moisten the substrate with pure mountain water, and this week, as soon as the first true leaves are formed, I will gently start feeding the plant, applying it both through the substrate and on the leaves. I added a small fan to the homemade grow cabinet to move the seedlings and strengthen the stem; when the stems start to become woody, it will be time for transplanting, no rush. "I'm the wound and the knife!" Charles Baudelaire in Les Fleurs du Mal. UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! The forbidden seedling is progressing, this week I will transplant it into its final pot. And there's a surprise in the grow! The seedling is showing a mutation! I love it! The apex is blind (that's what I call it), there’s no shoot, I’ve had plants with this mutation before that end up being a two-headed plant; in fact, the branches from the previous node are already thriving to take the place of the missing central apex. And once again, my enthusiasm overflows because I get to grow mutant plants or plants with youth problems. Girls, I'm going to lose my mind over you! 😑 ============== Finally, this afternoon I found a moment and was able to transplant to the final pot, an Old School 11L with homemade lateral aeration. I complete the transplant in two phases; in this first one, I soak the small pot with plenty of water, which allows me to easily remove the soil. Once buried in the new substrate, I wait 24 hours before watering, as the soaked root ball will expand moisture to the surrounding dry substrate. The second part consists of controlled surface watering, because even though I was happy with the root development of all the plants from last season, I noticed that there weren't as many roots at the top of the substrate as I expected. The truth is that I promoted moisture at the base from the very beginning, and that didn’t favor the development of adventitious roots on the surface. I’m going to try to correct that, as root development at the base is always guaranteed. Once I do the first watering, I will cover the substrate with mulch rescued from previous grows and a special mix to accelerate the development of microbiology and the decomposition of organic matter. I will talk about the watering mix and mulch next week. The seedling hasn’t stretched a single centimeter; on the contrary, it grows very compact while the leaves expand and the stem thickens. The effects of the intense blue light are starting to show in all the grows, now gathered in my main grow tent and surrounded by intense multicolored lights! Now all the seedlings of the season are in the main grow tent, surrounded by blue lights (450nm) and a 7700K LED panel and two FS COBs to provide other light spectrums. I’m aiming for maximum compactness and branching. I’ve cleaned and disinfected the grow tent, organized some cables and lamps, and finally closed the tent for a few hours with an ozone generator at maximum power. "Let life hover, and effortlessly reach the language of flowers and silent things!" Charles Baudelaire in Les Fleurs du Mal. UNTIL NEXT TIME... REGARDS TO ALL! ================================ Info on the Opium strain from Divine Seeds: https://divineseeds.net/opium/ "Several Afghan indica varieties, recognized as the most potent and resinous, were crossed with a powerful Brazilian sativa..." deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground cannabis enthusiasts! It's been a week since the transplant, and the little forbidden seedling shows its wonderful mutation day by day... I have a two-headed plant! The two branches below the blind apex, now turned into two main apices, are thriving and growing very strong and vigorous. I don't think I'll need to do an apical cut, although in this case, it would lead to an exceptionally branched plant; I'll think about it... it's a sign of good fortune, like when you get a double-yolk egg... life is beautiful! A day after the transplant, I completed the second phase of the process by adding a thin layer of a Bio mix of substrate with Solid Mountain Microorganisms, Rice Charcoal, pre-cooked living substrate, and algae and alfalfa powder. I finally cover this mix with Reused Mulch from previous crops and moisten everything. In the first few days, I've kept moisture only on the top of the substrate. I've watered the mulch daily with mountain water, intending to accelerate the spread of aerobic microbiology and encourage the expansion of adventitious roots in the upper part of the substrate, just below the mulch. Two days ago, I did a more abundant watering to let the moisture penetrate the substrate. The amount of this initial watering is moderate, half of what I have calculated for when the plant is at maximum yield because I don't want to saturate the substrate with water now. It's important for me to take advantage of the aeration of the new substrate, which hasn't been compacted by watering yet; the roots appreciate both oxygen and fluffy substrates, where they can move easily. With this first deep watering, I begin feeding all the seedlings. The girls are growing and asking for more food, and I will happily cook for them with each watering! 😉 I've started with a special mix of molasses with my Bio Fertilizer made from fresh coconut water with Efficient Microorganisms (MM, Minerals, vitamins, cytokinins, gibberellic, auxins....) Natural coconut water contains enough energy in the form of hormones, minerals, antioxidants, or vitamins to germinate a coconut seed and provide what it needs in the first weeks of life. I've added a bit of another Bio Fertilizer rich in amino acids and nettle tea. Finally, I adjust the pH of the mix with homemade Ormus from the Cantabrian Sea, which provides the presence of practically all the minerals from the periodic table. Here you can see the process I followed for creating Bio Coco EM: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/134104-grow-journal-by-defharo/week/791322 "As a very young bird that trembles and throbs, I will tear that reddened heart from its breast, and to satisfy my favorite beast, I will throw it to the ground with disdain!" Charles Baudelaire in Les Fleurs du Mal. UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! Starting today, this grow takes on a new twist; I’m igniting the metaphor of Opium and its derivatives... memories. I’m giving life to this mutant marijuana plant with a bizarre name that confuses me... but it’s just a name, and I only hope that the effects of this herb aren’t as narcotic and addictive as the name seems to suggest. This two-headed plant, a cross between a Taliban strain and a Brazilian sativa, is paying homage to the beautiful imperfection that reigns in nature. I don’t know what to call the mutation that has occurred; the central apex went blind, causing both branches from the previous node to become two powerful central apices. In the end, it’s a natural apical cut that will make shaping this plant something memorable. I believe perfection doesn’t exist, even though I never tire of searching for it. A couple of hours after posting this diary, I’ve made extreme ties on the plant to enhance the central branching and expand the main branches outwards. The pot establishment is secured; two days ago, I did the second watering after transplanting, a bio mix of nutrients and organic stimulants. For now, I’m keeping the watering amount moderate to keep the substrate loose, thus facilitating root expansion. At the same time, I’ve made a very stimulating foliar application with organic amino acids and bio fruit ferment; the effect is visible the same day. And finally, I’ve started tying the two main branches; I want to shape a wide and short plant with many thick branches that will grow monstrous buds, while the rest of the branches stand out with their own personality. The plant has naturally and rapidly transferred all its energy to the lateral branches (auxins)... let’s play! Yesterday, I lowered the light schedule by half an hour, now 21/3h; each week I’ll decrease the light time until reaching 18/6, and probably that will be the moment to switch the plants to flowering schedule 12/12h, approximately in 7-8 weeks. But if the plants gain a lot of volume, I’ll accelerate the transition to flowering... let’s play! “Our sins are stubborn, our regrets cowardly; We pay dearly for our confessions, And we joyfully enter the muddy path, believing with vile tears to wash away all our stains.” Charles Baudelaire in Les Fleurs du Mal. UNTIL NEXT TIME... REGARDS TO ALL! ================================ Info on the Opium strain from Divine Seeds: https://divineseeds.net/opium/ “Several Afghan indica varieties, recognized as the most potent and resinous, were crossed with a powerful Brazilian sativa...” Divine Seeds - Genetics: Afghanistan x Brazil - Sativa / Indica - Flowering Time - 63 days - Yield indoors: 1000 g/m² - THC: 29% - Fruity and earthy aromas. ================================

deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! Seven weeks into life for this Bicéfala strain, Talibán and Brasileña, the plant is making it easy for me. The mutation that has doubled the central apex has saved me from the apical cut, but above all, it's allowing me to tie it almost to the ground. The shaping of this plant is going to be brutal; branches are already growing from branches, and more branches will come... to play! In the meantime, I'm trying to crush it as much as possible with lots of blue light. This week, the plant has shown great growth; the leaves are expanding as a reflection of the health of the roots. I've given it a deep watering with moderate EC, added dry amendments to the soil: Feather Meal and Mealfrass. A few days ago, I did the weekly application to the leaves with amino acids and finished adding the mulch rescued from the previous season, and I'm continuing to adjust the ties. By the end of this week, and seeing the evolution of the crops, I'm going to have to take this and another plant out of the main grow tent, which will go to my hyper-lit homemade cabinet (60x40x125cm). This way, I'll grow all the plants with plenty of space so that the light penetrates from all sides... all for the cause! ======================= I'm curious to see this strain evolve; I'm motivated by the cross between Afghan and Brazilian Sativa seeds, which I smoked a lot of when I lived in that great country of wonderful memories! 👽 And my curiosity led me to ask a know-it-all entity (AI) about the backstory of this strain with a forbidden name: "In the arid lands of Afghanistan, where opium bloomed in vast fields, a man tired of his routine decided to embark on an adventure. Filled with hope and a few indigenous cannabis seeds in his pocket, he headed to the vibrant Carnival of Brazil, seeking a change in his life. Upon arriving in Rio de Janeiro, the contrast of his previous life with the explosion of colors, music, and joy was overwhelming. During the carnival, in a chance encounter, he met a local variety of Brazilian Sativa, a plant of exceptional beauty and vitality. Upon arriving in Rio de Janeiro, his heart, which had beaten to the monotonous rhythm of fear and addiction, began to dance with the drums of samba. In a vibrant corner of the city, amidst feathers and laughter, he met a slender and radiant Brazilian Sativa. It was a plant of unmatched beauty, whose leaves danced gently to the rhythm of street music. Fascinated by its exoticism and vitality, it wasn't long before he fell deeply in love. From their love, Siamese seeds were born, unique in their kind, intertwined in a perpetual dance. Inspired by his new life and the symbolism of his past, the man named them "Opium." These bicéfala seeds represented the fusion of two worlds, peace after war, and the joy of living carioca. Determined to give them a home away from any shadow of war or drug trafficking, the man took his precious seeds to Spain. There, in these warm and welcoming lands, the Opium seeds germinated and grew, spreading their peculiar beauty. Here, this plant has found its sanctuary, a place where it can flourish away from the hustle and turbulence of past times. The grower, now free from the chains of his past, proudly looks at his happy hybrid plant, knowing that in every leaf and every flower lies the fruit of an authentic and unexpected love and the promise of a better... different future." =========================== “The lover, breathless, leaning over his beautiful one has the appearance of a dying man caressing his tomb.” Charles Baudelaire in Les Fleurs du Mal... wow, there's always someone trying to ruin the party! deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! Eight weeks into life for this Bicéfala, Talibán, and Brasileña strain. The plant is staying healthy and vigorous, still establishing itself in the pot, the ScrOG I've set up in the pot is working very well to direct the growth of the lateral branches, I've tied and twisted the two main apices because I want to keep the crop as short as possible while also boosting the secondary branches in the center of the plant. deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! Nine weeks of life for this Bicéfala, Talibán, and Brasileña strain. The pot establishment is secured, the plant shows daily growth, the branches are strengthening significantly and striving to stand out, water consumption has doubled, I continue trying to curb vertical growth with ties on the branches and plenty of light above them. This week two deep waterings, one foliar application, and I've added a mix of dry amendments to feed the substrate... let’s play! Since yesterday the plant is with another in its new home, a homemade grow cabinet that allows me to put many lights around, this way all the plants have gained space to live comfortably and happily. deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground marijuana enthusiasts! Ten weeks of life for this Bicéfala strain, Talibán and Brasileña. Huge progress this week, in its homemade grow cabinet the plant is happily surrounded by many lights, it has a dense leaf mass ready to capture all possible light energy, today I start the flowering schedule 12/12h for all the crops. This plant developed a mutation that blinded the main apex, causing the development of two apices, plus, from the beginning I tied these branches and those that developed later, now it’s a very branched and leafy plant with a height today of 33cm, the goal is to stop the vertical stretching that occurs with the schedule change using intense lights. Water consumption is high, I water every 3 days, this week two waterings and the last foliar application of the season. UNTIL NEXT TIME... REGARDS TO ALL! The day I changed the schedule to 12/12h, the plant measured 33cm, and during the flowering transition, it has only stretched 20cm. Really, my little lit cabinet crushes the crops like no other. Now I have a wide, highly branched plant with a great leaf mass to capture light and many floral buds that will compete with each other to see which one is bigger... let the games begin! And finally, this week I've increased the light by 15 minutes every 2 days until reaching 13 hours of light... more photosynthesis, more energy processed, more nutrient needs = more flowers! UNTIL NEXT TIME... REGARDS TO ALL! “Let it hover over life, and effortlessly reach The language of flowers and silent things!” Charles Baudelaire in Les Fleurs du Mal. ================================ Info on the Opium strain from Divine Seeds: https://divineseeds.net/opium/ "Several Afghan indica varieties, recognized as the most potent and resinous, were crossed with a powerful Brazilian sativa..." deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, underground and organic marijuana enthusiasts! Fourth week since the start of flowering for this fearsome mutant and two-headed strain, a cross between a Taliban and a Brazilian sativa. Today, taking advantage of the sunny day for a few hours! The plant looks very nice, short but with great branching and strong limbs adorned with floral buds that are fattening up day by day. According to the grower, we're halfway through flowering; we'll see, as my grows usually extend the flowering stage. Two waterings this week and a dry amendment added to the substrate... Fifth week of flowering for this fearsome mutant and two-headed strain, a cross, at the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, between a Taliban and a beautiful Brazilian sativa! 😍 The plant shows its power, great metabolism supported by an intact and very efficient leaf mass, and with plenty of light around, Long live photosynthesis! The buds are growing hard as rocks, currently semi-hidden by the leaves, while they define their final shape... let’s play! deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Bienvenidos entusiastas de la marihuana clandestina y orgánica! Eighth week of flowering for this fearsome mutant and two-headed strain, a cross between a Taliban plant and a beautiful Brazilian sativa! 😍 After removing many of the ties I made at the beginning of the grow last week, the plant has unraveled, taking on an anarchic shape, giving it a wild bramble appearance. The multitude of smaller branches are vying for their space, the larger branches tend to bend under the weight of the buds, the flowers are tinged with reds and oranges... even so, the plant maintains its vigor and metabolism, water consumption is high and stable, watering every 3 days... Happy Harvest Day!

Your diary title sounds like the name of an all time great Montreal Canadians hockey player, Guy Lafleur. Good luck.

@Northern_Ent, Thank you! In fact, the title of the diary was chosen by my dear Charles Baudelaire, due to the evil name of this strain of marijuana.

@Northern_Ent, I met Guy Lafleur at Pearson international airport when I was 9 or 10 years old. I walked up to him and asked him if he was Guy Lafleur. He said yes. All I could come up with at the time was “WOW”.
