On this day, the plants were measured for height. #1) 6.5cm #2) 2cm #3) 7cm Day: 16 Today the plants needed a bit of support as they were at risk of toppling over. I still have to get used to the new light since it's being used for the first time this run; I need to find the right distance without the little ones suffering from burns. Zkittlez #2 is showing stunted growth. Ambient temperature: 25.2 degrees Celsius Humidity: 52% Light distance: 50cm Current height of the plants: #1) 7.5cm #2) 3.5cm #3) 8.5cm Day: 17 No major changes, ambient conditions are the same as on day 16. Day: 19 Slowly, the ambient conditions are reaching optimal values. Temp: 26.2 Humidity: 65% Light distance: 50cm Outside temperature: 15 degrees Celsius Day: 20 Today the plants were transplanted into larger pots. #1 and #2 were each put into 10l pots with BioBizz Light Mix, while Zkittlez #3 was topped into a 25l pot, also with BioBizz Light Mix. Day: 21 Today I noticed slight signs of overwatering; apparently, I watered a bit too much, so now I'm watering a bit more sparingly. Current height of the plants on day 21: #1) 11cm Width: 18.5cm #2) 6.5cm Width: -/- Pictures missing. #3) 8.5cm Width: 13.5cm Note/Conclusion That’s it for week 1 of the vegetation week. You might have noticed that according to the days, we would already be in week 3, but I didn’t count the seedling phase as part of the vegetation. Normally, it would be nice if Growdiaries would also consider the seedling phase; maybe that will happen one day. Until then, I will continue to make my entries as usual in my next run. Overall, the plants are developing great except for #2, which has somewhat slowed growth, probably due to overwatering, even though it was a bit slower from the start than the other two. Their overall impression is 💯% there are no more signs of overwatering or the slowed growth of plant #2 is no longer present. The current height of the plants: #1) 17cm #2) 16.5cm #3) 11.5cm Day: 26 Temp: 24.6 degrees Celsius Humidity: 55% Light Distance: 50cm Otherwise, no signs of complications or pests, etc. Day: 27 Current height of the plants: #1) #2) 9cm / Width: 20cm #3) 13.5cm / Width: 24.5cm The overall appearance of the Zkittlez is healthy and robust, with no signs of complications or problems, etc. Day: 28 Still no signs of problems or complications. Gruenerfinger85 Hello my crazy plant friends. I hope you are doing well and that you’ve made it through the week, the girls are doing quite well as you can see from the beautiful pictures. We are in week 5 of vegetation with an amazing strain from Ganja Farmer Seeds, I personally haven’t had the pleasure of enjoying this delicious strain yet, but I’ve received a lot of good feedback and many people have raved about it, so my expectations are high. Well, we’ll see what this strain has in store for us later. It’s still a bit of a wait. I wish you lots of fun with the current week. 👍 Day: 16 #1 I have to support my little seedlings at the beginning of the third week since they are still quite sensitive. I can tell because they sway quite a bit in the wind. Normally, the stem is more stable in the third week, unfortunately, I had the fan set up a bit wrong, so the seedling couldn’t develop mass in that spot since all the energy went elsewhere. Therefore, I made sure to provide a bit of stability and put a stake next to the stem of the plant and secured it with a clip on the stem, now there should be enough stability. The current height of plant #1 is: 7.5cm #2 Here it wasn’t necessary to support the plant under the leaves yet since it only measures a height of 3.5cm. This little beauty has a slightly slower growth than her two other siblings, but I find her leaf structure very beautiful. Aside from the slow growth, the little plant has developed very well. #3 Here we have the phenomenon that the little beauty wants to be supported, with a total height of 8.5cm. The Zkitteltz #1 went into a 25l pot, the other two into 10l pots each. Otherwise, there are no incidents or problems, complications. Environmental conditions: Temperature: 24 degrees Celsius Humidity: 34% Light distance: 50cm Outside temperature: 4 degrees Celsius -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day: 21 Today I noticed signs of slight overwatering or it could be stress symptoms, but I strongly suspect it’s slight overwatering since the root ball was quite wet and I didn’t even need to water when repotting, so I did that today. Before repotting, I usually water the plants 2 days in advance so that the root ball doesn’t crumble too much or isn’t too dusty dry, so I should hold back a bit on the watering now. The #1 currently has a height of 11cm and a width of 18.5cm. The #2 has a current height of 6.5cm, I hope that the growth of the little one will normalize again, unfortunately, I forgot to measure the width, that can happen. The #3 has a current height of 8.5cm and a width of 13.5cm, there hasn’t been any growth or due to repotting I have to start over since a bit of new soil has been added, I could say to add 2.5cm, then the little beauty in her small pot would have a height of 11cm, that would fit well, next time I will measure before repotting. Currently, 2 out of 3 plants have been sent into flowering, I will let the other 2 continue to grow and then move them outdoors. All three plants have developed very well so far, they look healthy and robust. There are no issues with growth or pests. Day: 46 Today I defoliated all the plants so that enough light reaches the lower shoots and the overgrown flower clusters are flooded with light again. This is the 2nd flowering week, and the plants are doing very well, the development of the buds is progressing nicely. Day: 50 Temperature: 25.8 degrees Celsius Humidity: 34% Light distance: 30cm Outside temperature: 10 degrees Celsius Today the pretty ladies got some food, otherwise there are no abnormalities or complications, everything is going as it should. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day: 54 #1 looks healthy and strong, the plants are continuing to develop their buds, and day by day the calyxes are getting bigger. #1 now has a total height of 42.5cm and #3 has a height of 41cm. Plant #3 is significantly bushier than #1, and you can already see that #3 will have more buds than #1. I feel that #3 is a bit further along in bud development than #1, as #3 is slowly starting to form pistils, which #1 is not doing yet. Today the plants were watered and received some good nutrients from S&R Organics along with the Vegan Phosphor Booster, which is also from S&R Organics. Temperature: 17.4 degrees Celsius Humidity: 53% Light distance: 30cm Outside temperature: 6 degrees Celsius ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day: 56 The plants look magnificent, there are no complications or anything like that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: Overall, the plants are doing very well, they are developing at almost the same speed, #3 is a bit faster than #1. However, there is no plant that particularly stands out due to a special growth pattern or structure. Plant #2 will continue to be grown outdoors next week, I am curious to see how the plant develops outdoors, which means that once the other two plants are harvested, this diary will continue until the end of the year. We can be excited to see where this journey will lead us. So far, I am very satisfied with how the vegetative phase has gone, and the 2 flowering weeks have also gone well, let’s hope it stays that way. She has a big appetite that is being satisfied with Greenpower 5.1 from S&R Organics. Starting from the third flowering week, Vegan Phosphor Boost will be administered additionally. I am still very pleased with the nutrient composition from S&R Organic; so far, there have been no problems or difficulties with the fertilizer. On the contrary, it seems that all the plants I have watered with it like the composition. The Zkittlez has formed many flower clusters that have grown at a good distance from each other, and the branches have grown strong and healthy, so she will have no problems later carrying the heavy buds. The Zkittlez has grown into a true beauty; you can tell she's extremely happy. Not only are the buds big and firm, but the flowers are just dripping with trichomes. I measured again to determine the final height, and despite the LST, she has reached a height of 49.5 cm. I will also measure the diameter so we have that data in the end. The datasheet indicates a flowering time of 60-65 days, which seems very accurate, maybe even a bit earlier. Now the most important thing is to keep an eye on the trichome heads. Starting next week, it will be time to flush, or rather, I’ll just be watering with plain water without nutrients. That was week 7 of flowering, and next week we will already be turning our attention to harvest day. Until then, I wish you a pleasant week.
