Power Kush (First Grow)

WeBeGrowing First grow - yay! Decided on Power Kush and hoping for the best :) Purchased a little indoor set up and keeping it the garage away from prying eyes. Let's see how it goes

WeBeGrowing Re-planted her into a bigger grow bag (20l) filled with coco-perlite 50/50 and she seems happy. Giving her about 1.5l of water containing nutrients every 3 days

WeBeGrowing Decided to go with topping technique and did the cut this week.; not sure if it was too soon but all looks good so far - just noticed a slight yellow tinge on the tips of two of the big leaves but will keep a constant eye on her :)

WeBeGrowing Super happy with growth so far and she's giving off a lovely scent too

WeBeGrowing Installed (DIY) mesh this week :) Baby sister is catching up nicely

WeBeGrowing This week we noticed a bit of yellow on the tips of a few of the leaves. Flushed the plant this morning- let's see how she looks in a few days.

WeBeGrowing Switched over to 12/12 cycle and starting to see the beginning stages of flowering :)

WeBeGrowing Into the second week of flowering; she's looking healthy and happy - been some rapid growth over the past week :)

WeBeGrowing Another week of steady growth! Raised the light a little bit higher and also releasing CO2 every second day

WeBeGrowing Last week of defoliation and also just trying to keep the heat down in the tent - having quite a warm week and saw the leaves were starting to roll up a little bit.

WeBeGrowing Quite an adventurous week - we had a bit of an overheating situation, which highlighted some shortcomings that required immediate attention; i.e. a thermometer, better air intake, do not park the car in the garage (next to the tent) after a long trip on a hot summer's day. Some of the leaves show the damage but think we caught it just in time

WeBeGrowing Hoping to harvest in the next week or two; in the meantime will be feeding her just water from now on. Took some nice close-up photos of her this week :)

WeBeGrowing She's blooming nicely and packing on some more weight. The summer heat is ongoing and we're doing our best to keep the temperature in the tent below 30°C - better climate control would be nice but not in the budget at the moment.

WeBeGrowing This week we got a nice microscope to have a close inspection of the trichomes :) Some of the heads started falling over from the weight so we put in a bamboo stick to keep her upright. Think we're heading into the final stretch now! 😎

WeBeGrowing We're in the process of DIYing a drying box with sufficient airflow and we'll be cutting her down this week; the leaves have started turning yellow... Harvest is Coming!! 😬
