Cannagrower2000 Hatched on 04/12/2024 Lighting with a full-spectrum cheap lamp and on a day with direct sunlight. Unfortunately, the hours of sunshine have been limited this week, but better weather is forecasted for next week. Occasionally, some aphids on the plant, removed them immediately. Watering is done with a spray bottle using tap water (stale for several days).

Cannagrower2000 Unfortunately, the week was again very shady, with only 3 sunny days in total when the pot could go outside. Overall, the plant is probably developing less quickly because of this. Next week will bring more sun and hopefully initiate a growth spurt.

Cannagrower2000 Overall, the plant spent 4 out of 7 days this week most of the day outdoors in the sun. At night, it was brought inside under the light. The pH level was adjusted closer to the optimal range using stale water and a splash of citric acid. On the last day of the week, a slight smell from the plant can already be detected. However, this is only noticeable when you get very close to the plant with your nose.

Cannagrower2000 5 out of 7 days, the plants spent the day outside this week; the temperature dropped too much at night to leave them out completely. At night, there were also a few hours of artificial light to reach a total of about 18 hours of light per day. At the beginning of the week, the lower leaves of the seedling, as well as the first leaves that had formed, were removed (these were already damaged from too much light at the start). By the end of the week, small red bugs appeared for the first time in the soil and at the edges of the pots. They were mostly eliminated using a spray bottle and lemon juice. Now, all pots and leaves are checked daily for infestations.

Cannagrower2000 Since this week, the plants are outside day and night, and for 6 out of 7 days, there was basically sunlight all day long. With rain predicted at night, the plants were brought inside. The plants were fertilized for the first time with organic universal fertilizer from "Grüner Jan" (about 3 liters of diluted mixture per pot). Overall, they were watered twice this week. The insect problem from last week has been resolved; spraying with lemon water drove the pests away. The plants are slowly transitioning into the flowering phase :)

Cannagrower2000 At the beginning of the week, the flowering phase of the plants started. Also, at the beginning of the week, the next pest problem began. Starting from a "foreign" tomato plant, various mites settled on all the cannabis plants. Some are dark green to black, while others are whitish. "Egg nests" were visible scattered across all the leaves. Due to a lack of equipment, everything was initially sprayed with a mixture of dish soap, sunflower oil, and water, and later in the week with neem oil. Additionally, bags with predatory mites were hung on all the plants. The mite infestation has significantly decreased, but the newer leaves have suffered "damage" (curled up, burnt leaf tips).

Cannagrower2000 This week the weather was very bad. It rained every day, and there were hardly any hours of sunshine. The plants spent most of the week under the terrace roof. The mites from last week are now well "under control," but a few groups have still been spotted, which were eliminated using water from a spray bottle and manual removal. The new plague this week is slugs. All the plants were eaten in several spots, and ultimately none of the home remedies helped except for the beer trap and raising the plants overnight. Some slugs were removed by hand.
