Piff Coast Farms Holy Communion Mini Pheno Hunt and 2 Blimburn Blue Dream
24 hours in a shot glass of 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide and 3 parts water. Then into a moist paper towel until we get a nice tail poking through. 7 out of 10 from the Holy Communion pack from Piff Coast Farms germinated. 2 of 2 for the Blimburn Blue Dream. Into solo cups with EWC and promix BX with added perlite. Left on heating mat with zip lock bag over the top to promote tap root growth.
End of Week 1 of Veg. Managed to overwater a bit during seedling stage and roots seem to have exhausted what nutrients were in the solo cups. Up potting to 1 gallons next week.
End of week 2/beginning of week 3. Girls are loving their new shoes. New growth looking lush and healthy. Plan to do a comparison of topping and low stress training to see how she behaves to different training methods.
End of week 4/beginning of week 5. Starting to transplant some of the girls into their 5 gallon pots. ProMix BX amended with gaia green all purpose/rockdust and mycos. Fed with a brew of recharge and cal mag plus on transplant.
Week 6/7? Effortless grow. Got the plants alternating on ACInfinity Self watering pots. These things are the best. Saving my butt when I'm unsure when to water, plants only take in what they need when they need it. Will be flipping to flower next week. Waiting on the rest of the 4x4 to fill out. Going to top dress 50/50 of gaia green all purpose and the power bloom before the 12/12 switch. Also plan to defoliate a bit as well. Taking some snips in the event we find a fast flowering finisher or something extra piffy from the Holy Communion pack.
Week 7 of Veg. 4x4 filled out very nicely. Added in a 2nd 500W light and spread the plants out a bit more to allow more airflow/light penetration. Now the fun begins :D
Week 1 of 12/12 light cycle. Hit the plant prior to the flip with a top dress of all purpose/power bloom 50/50 and 2 tbsp of basalt rock dust. Seeing a lot of activity on the top layer of soil. The microbial life is THRIVING. End of week 1. Slowly dropping RH to 50%. Already seeing a decent bit of stretch. May need to figure out a way to get my light level with the top of the tent in the event I run out of headroom. Not sure how much of a stretch to expect with the holy communion being it is my first run with them but the blue dream I should be more than okay as I flipped last run with them way taller than this time around.
Blue Dream starting to get some frost to her. Looking like all the holy comm phenos are gonna be a long flower time judging by the slight difference in bud sizes between the blue dream and the holy comms. Going to give them a top dress and a recharge with a few things come the end of the week. Until then just straight butt chuggin out the acinfinity self watering bases.
Start of week 4. Top dressing with gaia green all purpose/powerbloom, EWC and a few other things when the acinfinity pots run dry and pots get light. Hopefully within next day or two max.
Blue Dreams are starting to stack on some weight and terps. Holy Communions slightly behind in size but she is starting to smell piffy. Was only able to get clones from the HC#4 and #1 to root sadly, may try to reveg some or just cut my losses. Depends on if space permits when the time comes.
