12.04: switching to euro dates. :)
Older plants seemed a little moist still, will water tomorrow.
Younger plants were dry. Gave each 750ml of water with calmag, bio grow, bio heaven - no runoff tho. They looked a smidge droopy. Need more water?
13.04:
Watered 2x older plants. One doesn't look great while the other looks healthy. Noticed spotting on leaves: almost white. Calmag deficiency? Not sure... it also seems to be happening on the 2x younger plants. Considering upping my calmag since we have extremely soft water here.
I have been letting the soil dry out 2 or 3 days to prevent overwatering but it doesn't seem to help the drooping.
16.04:
After speaking to @gottagrowsometime (thanks bruh), it seems that my issues are probably related to the 24/0 causing mild light burn. This in turns affects nutrient uptakes and dark leaves (N), clawed tips and bleaching spots and tips. Switched to a 18/6 schedule and raised light a few inches. Big plants before switch were getting around 750PPFD, which is too much -- now are between 500-600.
I'm also going to create a separate journal for the 2x younger plants, since they are a week behind, starting Week 4.
In the meantime, both older plants felt quite light and dry. The younger plants didn't feel as dry. Watered accordingly:
2x old - 1.25L with nutes
2x young - 900ml with nutes.
Lastly, checked pH with proper meter:
tap water = 8.0
tap water with calmag/bio-heaven/root-juice = 7.4
soil = 6.4
@punktkomma, Jetzt muss ich rauchen, bis meine Augen Katarakte bekommen, damit ich bei der nächsten Ernte legal bleiben kann.
Herausforderung angenommen.
