Noticed some tip scorching. The tent has been getting a little warm since the weather change, so instead of changing the light out I keep the tent 1/4 crack open with a fan blowing the hot air outwards. Also upped the humidity to 50% and am watering this week with R/O water, Liquid Seaweed, Molasses and Grow Big.

Beginning of Week 5. Getting ready for transplant. We made our own potting mix and compost tea with the following ingredients. Potting Mix : 10 Quarts Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil (Base) 5 Quarts Earth Worm Casting 1 Cup Flower Girl 5 Quarts Pearlite 2.5 Tablespoons Happy Frog Japanese Maple Fertilizer (Mixed in) 2 Teaspoons Vigoro (Mixed into top 3" of Soil) 2 Teaspoons Happy Frog Japanese Maple Fertilizer (Mixed into top 3' of Soil) Compost Tea: 2 Cups of Worm Casting (Steeped) .25 Cups Flower Girl (Steeped) 1 Cup of Happy Frog Japanese Maple Fertilizer (Steeped) I wasn't entirely sure how a Compost Tea would work with feeding, so the guy at the gardening center said it wouldn't hurt to use the compost as the base liquid to water for the week, and it would be safe to add the typical nutrients ( Grow big, Molasses, Liquid Seawee, Big Bloom and Nitrogen). Guess we'll find out and hopefully I wont destroy my plant. When transplanting we form fitted the orignal pot into the new 5 gallon fabric pot. Filled the hole and covered the rootball with Mycorrhizae.

Hola! So as you can see above I already transplanted my plant. How do I best recover the plant from transplant shock? I've seen alot of different directions online and hoping I could get some clear direction from anyone in the community. -Cheers

The very best way I find is if your using a rooting agent and a chelation agent , this way when you transplant them you can get a big boost outta root mass products which will help them heal faster absorb more nutrients and of course pump out the root mass . The second thing you want would be a chelation agent something that provides humic and fulvic acids this will promote quicker recovery time as well as stronger growth . Think like a body builder drinking a protean shake after working out to help rebuild his muscles chelation agents work much the same .There are various nutrient line ups that provide these products so when selecting one make sure its the right one for your needs :) All in all she looks pretty good and shouldnt suffer from shock for to long if any . I hope this information helps you on your journey to understanding how to recover your plants faster from transplanting them . - Happy Growing!

First day of week 6! Looks like what transplant shock I was afraid of never materialized so that's a plus. I did however discover 2 things that have been bothering me. The first was random discoloration and spotting on some leaves, I had no idea that it was due to me spilling watering nutrients on the leaves, so I dug a small canal around the main stem of the plant. Now I just pour water evenly around the canal. The second was, why is my plant so small. Most other Blue Dreams I've seen seem to get really tall and stretch upwards. Mines just seems to get bushier. After more and more research, and probably one of the most obvious things to more experienced growers, is that it's not stretching so much because it doesn't need to. So at least my light is on point. I watered regularly today for the first time since transplant, but only used a quarter of a gallon.

so been out for a bit, had issues with heat and the tent. new light was generating too much heat so moved it into an unused bathroom. tub actually reflects alot of light, has it's own exhaust and maintains temp really well

Not a whole lot going on this week. Fed it once with the nutrients above, dont know why the portions are dramatically increasing whenever I save the diary. And just watered once with some RO water PH to 6.8, other than that just some light defoliation to increase light penetration to bud sites.

Finally got the grow room setup after the move. some of the tricombs prematurely turned orange. provably having to do with the stress of the move and environment change. starting to bounce back, we'll see what's up next week.

Did some light defoliation, leaves at the bottom were dying off. Will definitely train better in future grows. Watering today with plain water, Molasses and Seaweed.

Biggest thing was this is my first grow, and this plant had a hard life. between the temp issues and the multiple grow room changes, that and moving it across country... I'd say pretty decent results for a first time.
