GirlGoneWeed Starting two more NYCD, this time I will be attempting a flux training technique on this hybrid.
First week went well, both seedlings are growing strong a fast. I have decided to do not use any notes for the first week, the super soil is uncharge of providing the nutrients necessary for now.
Lamp is ONEO 600w, plants seem to love it, super soil mixed by me, organic, worm cast, perlite. Flora series will start on week 2.
Any suggestions and tips for this flux attempt are welcomed!

GirlGoneWeed Both seedlings are growing nice and strong. Week 2 went smooth.
I have placed these seedlings on the same space I have my week 6 NYCD, the big one is under a 1000w lamp in one end of the tent and the 2 seedlings under a 600w lamp on the other end of the tent.
Nutes have been introduced on a spray bottle. 2x a day, morning and evening they get a drink.
I will be doing the first topping on week 3, but Im already having butterflies on my stomach :(
Tips and suggestions are welcomed!

GirlGoneWeed Great week of growing nice and thick for these two babies.
Now the horror... I have toped them, attempting to flux to hopefully get a larger yield. The feeling of topping such small plant can be quite.... emotional.... Lol
There is a great video on youtube that give a close look on how to top your babies, here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niz9MLNgN9k
I didn't tie them down right away because the new growth nodes are to small, I will give them a couple of days to recover. I used the cuttings to make clones, I will post photos if they thrive.

GirlGoneWeed Too much happened this week with these two plants, I will start with the mainline side branches getting nice and thick that's a good sign! But than, lol, if you take a close look, it looks like they are trying to bloom!!! Now that, is not a good sign....Let me know what ya'll think about this "early bloom" or if im just stoned.
On day 30 the gals got a new home, 5 gal smart pot filled wit super soil + perlite.
Now the tragedy, after performing the second topping while I was trying to secure the branches down with soft wire....I heard a snap.....a tear came down...I used tape to put the little branch back in place, but as you can see on the photos it was a bad snap, I don't expect her to recover from that but I had to try anyways.
Growers, please let me know if that is what they should look like, minus the broken branch part 💩
Cheers!😎

GirlGoneWeed Comparing to my other diary on NYCD the growth speed for these 2 is slower with all the topping and bending, both plants are strong and have vibrant colours, they look healthy, even the one with the broken branch.
You will notice on the photos one plant is crippled, I tried to tape the branch to see if she would recover but unfortunately she didn't. I removed the bands and decided to let her grow free, well, at least one side of it.
The other one got topped twice so fa, branches bent and secured as shown in the photos. I don't think I will be topping her anymore, I am afraid she won't have enough time to recover but we shall see what happens next.
Thanks for all the visits, tips and advices!

GirlGoneWeed Let's start talking about plant #2, the one that got crippled. Her one side is growing, but growing slow... I hope she provide me with at least 15g of dry flower. There is this weird burn on the leaf close to one of the flower formations I have no idea what that is...
Plant #1 is looking healthy but a miniature as well, I don't think she will streach or grow nice buds, the HST have definetly messed her up. There are 8 potential colas on the make, but I wish she was Fem instead of auto 😢
Note to self: The genetics of these Autos are too weak to deal with HST.
All advice and tips are welcomed!

GirlGoneWeed This Lady is getting bigger I hope she spikes growth this coming week. 🤞🏼
I did a slight removal of fan leaves and a session of LST, I removed the hooks because the branches were pushing up, so I have her all tied down, Im looking for some symmetry this time around. The mainline base is getting thicker and flowers are blooming.
I think after all this HST and LST I "dwarfed" this Auto 😂😅
If you have had a similar experience please share, I would love to hear your Auto flower trials 🙌🏼
Thanks for the visits, stay lit peeps😎

GirlGoneWeed I'm late on posting due to school finals, but now we are back on regular activities 😎
Both Plants are developing their flowers slowly for week 8, the "crippled" plant is fully recovered from her second accident (the heater burn that got some leaves crispy) so I decided to LST her a bit for better light reach.
The mainline girl is all tied down and growing with nice symmetry despite her very small size, her flower development is happening well.
If anyone have recommendations on Coblights, please let me know as im looking into upgrading the grow light system!

GirlGoneWeed These 2 Plants have gone through a lot of different trials on training that have taught me so much about Auto Flowers.
Finally the buds on the Mainline plant are thickening up 🙌🏼
The "Accident prone" plant is getting taller and developing more branches, even tho she is only growing one side lol
the flower formation on this plant is subtle compared to the other one.
A lot of learning with these two, can't wait for harvest day!

GirlGoneWeed After been by the ocean smoking weed and drinking tropical cocktails for a few days, Im back to my garden!
I am going to start with the biggest learning I have from this grow: do not by any circumstance try to FIM or Top Crop King NYC Diesel Auto, unless you want to turn the potential 30inch height growth into a computer grow kind of plant, a mini cannabis plant, if you have limited space that's the way to go.
The symmetry on the colas is really cool, they are thicker than my previous NYCD colas, small in size. Very pretty colours and the crazy strong smell, a Diesel strain is a Diesel lol
The broken one pushed and survived well all the way to the end, only 2 real colas came out of her the rest is covered in resin good for hash and edibles, I guess she will go straight to the edibles bag!
Both plants are currently flushing, harvest coming up next weekend, I am very curious to see what those little bananas will weight on the scale
The contrast on both diaries growing the same strain from the same seed package from the same breeder have quite the difference great learning curve!
Stay lit Folks
These run I decided to use HST FIM on the plant she became a miniature with some thick good looking colas, however the harvest was half of what I got from my previous diary on the same strain. It was a lot of fun and a big leaning curve for me.

GirlGoneWeed The GD community help was crucial to make this grow happen! The outcome was interesting as I learned that the strain NYCD from Cropking is not strong enough to be FIMMED, however if you apply LST only you will harvest much more. Now I will start a new research online to buy professional lights for my next run it will be either SSH or Northern Lights! Thanks for all the help, stay lit folks!
And people say you can't top autos or shouldn't but man if they are healthy out of the gate and vegging good the risk is worth the reward. Worked great on my grow and I tried 3 approaches.
I left one alone, I topped another and double topped the third plant to see how my yield weights all compare.

@Bostongeorge, ya man, I agree with ya, if they are show signs of health why not ? Its my first time properly attempting to top them, it is still a new field for me!
@GirlGoneWeed, Yes, I planted the cube into soil, and I guess I let it dry out too badly. Humidity was very low. I have since added a cool mist humidifier to the veg tent to combat the problem. Today, I received my latest seed shipment from Seedsman, and it included another 3 x free RQS Diesel Autos, so I immediately dropped them into distilled water...maybe this time!!!🙏
@Silverback_Guerilla, yes for sure this Auto did not enjoy HST, Im sorry to hear about yours tho, did you plant the one seed who sprouted the tap root on soil?
@GirlGoneWeed,
Ya, seems like most autos just aren't into heavy bondage..😁
I planted 5 of these CKS Diesel Autos and only 1 came up..and it's tap root petered out after a few days....😟 ..was really wanting to see it grow...
@Silky_smooth, yesterday they look well and recovered from the cut, so I have secured the fan leaves and the small growth gently horizontally, I will have tons of patience with these two! ;)
@GirlGoneWeed,now second step place guidehooks just behind the first nodes on each branche so an push them gently in the soil and push them in untill the little branches are horizontaly over fanleafs and make te hooks long enough so you can place them abouth 10cm deep and the hook for your branche make so that you take the fanleaf en branche together if you have done that Just let her recover a day maybe 2 and as she further grow repeat step 1 again but to twist the second node that again these are also horizontaly cause the sidebranches have to be horizontaly to and as they grow you do the same but with the side branches and if your patiënt and you do autoflower once they hit bloom you can still bend for another week but thats it then you have to let the flux do the work for you my auto’s abouth 28days to 30 before flower so thats abouth the window you have and make the most of it 😉😉😉😉i’ll Peek by when nessesery 🤪🤪
Hey girl yeah I let mine be did nothing to it and received 7oz one thing I noticed was added monster buds with cyco still wondering if that made the difference
Hey girl, took mine about a week to bounce back and show happiness from topping. However, with autos, you can't clone them (not that I know of yet) as they will only grow like the life of the mother plant and when she dies the clones do. Just stuff I have read. I'm following your grow to see how she does... super interested in end results..
Good luck and if you have questions, keep asking... we were all noobs at the beginning. Witchy wishes for a Killer Grow!
@Lady_NugWitch, Hey G, I didn't know about the Auto Flower cloning issue, I just didn't want to waste those little branches after topping lol.
Today is day 2 of recovery and they are looking just fine, I will give them a couple more days of relaxation, before stressing them again.
I appreciate the follow and the advice!😎👊
Hola , que lindos cogollos , creo que para la tecnica que usaste debiste tomar mas tiempo de vegetacion para obetener mejores resultados ( es mi humilde opinion) saludos y buenos humos , espero puedas pasar por mis diarios :)
Yes i mean this one now you can start youre flux on the second node 😉 looking topside she has started the 4th node yes? Now top her down on the second node and like a mainline remove the first node and fanleafs that only the second node and fanleafs stay on and let her recover for a few day i’ll follow your grow so i’ll check on her daily 😉
i’ll guide you every step of the way 😉
