Week 2: Nothing negative has happened to any plants after transplanting to their final pots. Trying to find a solution to my humidity being low. 1 fan on goes to 68% 2 fans on drops to 37%. Update: I think I have figured out the humidity issue, when I check this morning i have 40%+.

Day 15: I have started training the outer plants as the tent is not that tall, and the spread of the light cannot reach the tops of the plants very well if they get too tall. Feeling a lot more confident about this grow and more excited that compared to my first grow. Day 18: I have done enough research, and have determined that I will not be topping the center plant. I have now done LST to it as I don't think the benefits of topping are great enough with autoflowers. Day 21: I think that the LST has opened up the lower growth to start some new branches, and worked well. Excited to head into week 4, from my past grow week 4 is where I saw some of the most dramatic changes.

Day 22: Hoping the smaller plant starts to catch up, going to lay off the training. Also need to watch out for watering too much. Day 25: side branching is evening out well Day 28: 1 White Widow is showing signs of pre-flower, really exciting day until my OPTICLED 2 broke. Only had the light since August so I am weighing out pros and cons of fixing it myself, warrantying ( paying for shipping), or buying something new. New parts are in the mail for me to replace on the Optic2, order a 100w COB led from Rapid LED going to use it as as a supplemental light and as a stepping stone to keep moving towards better lighting

Hi @Raaneal! Well, if you want a combination, good spectrum+power+coverage, you should look for "QuantumBoards", these panels rely on Samsung mid power LED (lm561c or even better lm301b) which are the new big thing in the growing industry. These are probably the most effective grow lights onto the market nowadays. Growers with good coverage usually get more than 1g/w. The drivers are dimmable, so you can control your lamp efficiency (and your electricity bill). If you cannot afford the official QuantumBoard from HLG, you can try to go DIY, many companies are selling the same kind of SMD boards. If you're in the US or Canada, then HorticultureLightingGroup, CobKits, LedGrowLightDepot...If you're in EU, InvisibleSunled or TodoGrowLed. If you're in asia, go to the closest factory 😆 Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date, and happy growing 👊

Day 29: LED parts are coming in the mail. Center plant has started preflower, the other 2 are just showing signs of sex. Day 30: Moved entire tent to top floor, now lights off temps sit around 70, and lights on around 75. Humidity is not high 40%- low 50% Day 31: 2 corner plants are lagging behind in showing signs of flower by about a week compared the the center plant. Super happy with the new light I got from Rapid LED, would recommend to anyone in the future. Day 34: Top dress with Gaia Green dry amendments(1 tbps 4-4-4, 2 tbps 2-8-4, half the recommended does on container), added a bit more soil-less hydro mix, and did a big watering. Day 35: Added a new small room heater, and a thermostat with a probe, light on temps are now steady 75 and lights off are high 65-70

Also growth over the past week has been amazing plants are filling out the little 32"x32" tent very well. Watered with unsulphured molasses Day 37,38,39: Seems like grow is on cruise control for the week Day 42: Finishing off the week with everything looking really happy in the tent

Day 52: Watered with molasses, also thinking about amendments again because after reading info again, I actually only did half a dose last time Day 57: Noticing a pretty sever deficiency in one of the plants, so I have re-amended the soil, probably wont see it make a big come back, but would like it to not get worse.

Day 58: All plants seem to be doing "ok", I think 1 plant has a Nitrogen deficiency which I thought was weird for well into flower so maybe I am wrong. Others seem to have lower branches getting brown sports. I have added more power bloom dry amendments, and continued to water with molasses. Day 60-62: Whatever deficiency the plants have I think on my next run I can fix with Kelp Meal from Gaia Green, also going 100% coco coir and more perlite added in because everything things very stuck together and hard to even dig in to see if things are wet. I think adding in the peat moss may have made things to acidic and locked the plants out of certain nutes, but I am not 100% certain. I dont know anyone with a PH meter to borrow, so I will have to get the solution to re-calibrate mine and test the run off.

Day 63: Not very happy with the back right White Widow. With how much fading its done, and putting on bud size much slower than the others. I am not sure what I have done, so with this watering I have added some calmag. Day 68: Re amended the soil with Bloom, 2 TBSP/gal ( not teaspoons like I did the second time like a tool).... sabotaged myself.

Day 70: The dry winter air has made my humidity drop, but this has been a struggle for me the entire grow. The center White Widow I think will be ready at the 80 day mark, just like posted by Dinafem. The other 2 I am hoping will keep going and putting on size. Day 78: Middle plant is going into darkness, will cut down on day 80 and will start drying. Day 80: First White Widow is cut down and drying. Day 82: Second White Widow going into dark period, everything is cloudy, no amber but plants coming to an end quickly.

Kind of lost interest in posting and growing, but getting back into it and just wanted to complete this diary. I changed phones and had to do some digging for weights and pics I sent to a friend over a year ago. I currently have a WW going into week 5, and was using this diary as a reference, and i think right from the beginning this new plant has been doing better than what i posted here. New seeds and posts on the way. Thanks

@Raaneal, very cool! I think the Quantum style boards are great too! They were a little more expensive where I’m located so I went with CXB3590 COBs. It’s very similar light spectrum/output and wiring/set up though.. if you have any questions check my guide or send me a message. Happy to help homie 👊🏻

@Mrs_Larimar @@TheWeedMan , Thanks for the suggestions, I ended up going with a lm301b 100w COB, that I will setup a rail system and add 1-2 more in the future since its only a 32"x32" total tent. In the mean time I am getting the parts to fix my current Optic2 sent out for free, So now I have more light/backup just in case something happens in the future.

LazLowcommented6 years ago
@Raaneal, look back at my earlier weeks this grow watering was the hardest thing for me to get down I was watering way too much and my leaves started looking like shit. Now my 5 gallon fabric pot gets a gallon about every 5-6 days that’s it
LazLow
LazLowcommented6 years ago
@Raaneal, from what I can see it might be magnesium deficiency with some potential over-watering. That would be more common than an iron deficiency as well. I could obviously be wrong but maybe something to look into
Raaneal
Raanealcommented6 years ago
@LazLow, Hey Thanks! I think the one back right White Widow has some kind of deficiency, but I am not sure what. Think Iron looking at reference pics.

Plants are looking unbelievable man! What unsulphured molasses did you use? I'm buying Captain Black Strap from Greenthumb Hydroponics (gthydro.co.za) tomorrow. Nice one dude!

@biird, I just went to the health food section of my local grocery store called Independents here in Canada. It was $8 CDN, you can follow the Amazon link it specifically says unsulphured thats why I bought it. I think the Natures Choice you bought is perfectly fine. https://www.amazon.ca/Wholesome-SWEETENERS-Organic-Blackstrap-472ml/dp/B000QUZXHO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1544555403&sr=8-1&keywords=wholesome+organic+molasses

Well you've had some crazy growth over the festive season and plants look in tip top shape 👍 I see you are not happy with one of the White widow auto,s. When growing from seed you will get what we call "phenotype variance " think of it like a family. Not all children are the same. Some need more feed some less 👍 Personally I think things look great and progressing very well 👊 Keep the updates coming mate. Looking good from here 👌 All the best ✌️ Mark..

@Raaneal, Some stunning colours my friend 👌 How are things going since your last update? I suspect you have now harvested? I'll drop back in to see how this grow concludes 👊 All the best ✌️ Mark..

@DinafemSeeds, More unhappy with myself than the plant, making a mistake measuring my nutrients.... It has turned it into some crazy colours tho.
